“Bought a ham, three sides, and a pie for the holidays that were great with easy heating instructions. Line went very quickly (I pre-ordered), and everyone at the counter was super pleasant. There was also a woman greeting everyone as they were coming in! I enjoyed a great holiday atmosphere; will return for sure!”

“This is for AUTHENTIC Mexican food. If you're expecting white queso and chips/salsa this is not the place for you. This is REAL Mexican food, not the American version so many are used to. The food is good, not amazing. But it is one of the few places around that is very authentic. You know it is, because the patrons are mostly Mexicans. It offers the variety of actual Mexican cooking. (I wish they had chorizo tacos). As someone who lived in Mexico, I can attest this is the REAL THING! The tables are VERY close together and the atmosphere is cramped and not welcoming. For this reason, we choose to get take-out. If someone were to laugh, cough, or sneeze, it most assuredly would hit most of the tables since they are so close together. However, the line does move quickly and the service is very quick. My only real complaint besides the table situation is that a lot of the meat is very fatty. This is normal for Mexican cooking, but since this is not in Mexico, I wish they would take the time to remove the hunks of fatty pieces from the meat. They will prevent me from ordering more variety.”
“This grocery store fills what was previously a pretty large void in nice meats and veggies in the area. It has a cooked meat section in the back that's also good.”

“This is a great little carniceria right off Harding Place in Nashville. Fresh cuts of meat adorn cases prominently displayed as you go through. Also lots of seafood options too. You can get your fresh cheese and even spices here. I came primarily for chorizo. I wound up, leaving with two different kinds plus Carne adobada. Boss man threw in a couple of seasonings he wanted to try as well. It was well worth the price. They even offer rotisserie chicken meals here. You know you're at the right place when you see the large grills lined up outside. The smell is always amazing. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I'm sure some of them speak English, but being that I'm bilingual, I have never had a problem. I highly recommend that you give it a whirl. You're bound to find something here foodwise that you'll enjoy preparing at home.”
“Decent for quick lunch sandwiches, smoky smell inside because of their cured meats so beware if you have a nice coat on. They also sell little Nashville-themed trinkets, cards, candles, hot sauces, etc if you prefer a more curated travel souvenir. Cashier/order is immediate left, can be confusing to just walk up directly into the deli side if you didn't know! Overall small corner shop, good for both visitors and corporate folks in the area.”

“Sperry's Mercantile is my favorite specialty food retailer! Same great proteins they use in the restaurant but you take them home and cook it yourself. Amazing Smoked Tuna and smoked tuna dip, the chicken salad is the best in town and the cakes, which you can buy whole or by the slice are incredible. On top of all this you get warm and helpful service from everyone who works there. Thanks Sperry's!”

“It's pricey but so delicious you can't help but keep coming back to HBH! We pop in and out here easily for lunch or go pick up sliced turkey up take home. The staff are super friendly and get your food out fast! I love the sweet tea here :) Holiday time will be busy if course but the rest of the year there's usually not a long wait. Two restrooms, one stall each and always clean. Parking out front can be tricky depending on the time of day. Highly recommend !”
