“A few weeks ago, my boyfriend and I decided to go to Home Depot to check out Christmas tree. Despite it pouring rain outside, the employees of the garden center were dressed head to toe in yellow rain gear to help anyone needing assistance outside. After initially checking out the trees, my boyfriend and I opted to leave as we didn't want to purchase a tree without seeing how it looked untied. It appeared all the trees were already tied up for easy pick-up. As we walked to our car (in the pouring rain), one of the employees, Will, ran up behind us with an umbrella and continued to walk with us holding the umbrella over us so we didn't have to be rained on. He was not prompted. He was not under any direction. He just did it. We couldn't believe how kind of him that was. We began talking about how we wanted a tree, but opted not to because we wanted to be able to see what it looked like after being tied up. He goes, "Oh! Well, let me help you. I'd be happy to do that for you. Let's go back over to the trees." For the next 20 minutes, he generously assisted us in looking for the right tree, all the while giving us useful tips on how to treat the tree once at home. Upon purchase of the tree, two other guys helped tie the tree on top of our vehicle, again, in the pouring rain. They took their time, making sure everything was secure. When we were ready to leave, we offered a tip. They kindly declined saying that they don't accept tips!! We insisted, but they once kindly stated it was their pleasure to simply be of service to us. We couldn't believe it! These guys went over and beyond for us on a day that I'm sure they would have rather stayed home in their comfy houses outside of the cold and rain. Yet, they were working in the rain and were so generous and kind. THANK YOU Home Depot Madison! You guys have won our business for a lifetime.”

“I went to the Dickerson Road location this past Sunday at 10:00 am to purchase a large amount of siding, and was completely ignored. The store lumber section was a wreck, the people rude and too busy texting on there phones. After about three pages for help to the dept and 30 min. I left and drove to the Madison store where I was greeted and helped as soon as I walked into the lumber area. There were four people in total that helped me get the material pulled , checked out and assisted me loading the multiple box's of 12 foot siding onto my trailer. So the " WAY TO GO ! " goes out to the Madison crew. Dickerson Road store lost $1100.00 sale that day.”

“Store Manager Mel is awesome, in a recent purchase the charger was missing to a product i purchase and a replacement charger is quite expensive as in $$$ expensive. She kept trying to locate the charger even with the store manager not being the most helpful (at the beginning) Mel reached out and a charger was found. Thanks Mel.”
