I came here to fix a flat tire that my bike had for the past 3 weeks. The team inspected my bike and in less than 5 minutes they found out that it was a small leak in the inner tube. The Tube was around 10-15$ to replace but I ended up getting a new bell as my old one was broken. They even added it on for me. The staff was very nice and I feel like I got a good bang for my buck on what I purchased. I also wanted a phone holder but I found that a little cheaper on Amazon. Overall, I would return as it is better than traveling an hour to the REI store by bike.

As always, I was thrilled with the level of customer service and attention. Certainly one of the better outfielders you'll ever visit.

Personal service. Decorated the way an outdoor store should be (I love how it feels the moment I walk in the door). Great products.

Cumberland Transit had a very good variety of gear at good prices. Their clearance area is large and had lots of interesting items

Was ignored by bike sales & svc staff. They were mostly interested in talking about their upcoming rides. In the past, when I got service, it was top flight. Of course, that WAS when I picked up a new bike.I'm sure I'll be back, but not on a Saturday.

Definitely one of the best outdoor stores in the Nashville area. They’re small, but they have a selection that will hold its own against any larger store like REI. That being said; with them being a local business you have no reason not to choose Cumberland transit over competitors. The staff is wonderful and very helpful on most any questions you’ll have. I always love coming here!

Our favorite outdoors shop in Nashville and we always love supporting local if possible. They have everything you could need from climbing gear, fishing, hiking and more! We prefer them over REI honestly.

Cumberland Transit is a Nashville ICON and one of the most capable hiking and back packing store in the country. The staff is experienced in gear and clothing because the use it the way it was intended, on the trail. I can always find what I need at CT and at the best value. Highly recommend.

Outstanding! I feel like it is a smaller but much more accessible & welcoming version of REI. The staff are very friendly/helpful and the prices are very fair.

Went in for a tune up for my bike. They did such a great job! The work was a quick turn around and my bike is ready for the spring! They cleaned it too which was nice because I brought it in pretty muddy.

Andrew in the bike shop was great to work with. He was patient with me and offered very helpful input as I worked through my own "discernment" of which mountain bike to buy. It was a very no pressure "sales" experience and I'm very pleased with the purchase I made.

Service was outstanding. Employees were engaged and very knowledgeable. Cash vs credit card refund policy needs attention. Not acceptable and needs to be addressed. Fantastic inventory and a great independent brand that stands out in a sea of corporate big box retailers. -NOLS Alum New in Nashy

I came in to check out waders because I'm still pretty new to fly fishing and haven't been able to find some that fit and are affordable. I also just moved from Colorado, so I was completely unfamiliar with the waters of Tennessee...which was extremely intimidating. The intimidation melted away immediately. The guys were super helpful from the second we entered the fly fishing section. I was given advice on how and where to fly fish for bass, and they even put together a fly selection to get me started. They were extremely helpful as I tried on waders and boots for the first time, and patient as I walked around to ensure the boots were comfortable. The best part was that the waders were a past season's style, so they were even able to offer a discount. I've been super happy with my purchases and was able to hit the water feeling confident that I had the appropriate gear for mid-February fishing.

Amazing local outdoor recreation store. Knowledgeable staff for gear and bike maintenance/repairs. Would recommend to anyone over one of the higher stores!
