“Adopted a 65 pounds 1.2 yo black mixed dog who had been there 8 months. She believes she is a lap dog. The facility is very clean, has a nice area for dogs to play. Pets are very well taken care off. Very nice people. In the near future, we plan to volunteer and/or foster doggies.”

“This VFW is quaint and small but very welcoming and special. We went in on Christmas Day and the female bartender was very nice and hospitable. Shuffle board and pool were accessible and awesome! Would recommend and visit again!”

“A tidy and well organized thrift store. It's easy to shop and find what you're looking for. Items are very reasonably priced and bargains are easy to find. They have an active Facebook page where they highlight larger items. I went to look at a chair they highlighted and a volunteer lowered the price to sweeten the pot since it had been there a few days already. I left with two chairs. . The volunteers are very nice and helpful. The best thrift store in Fredericksburg and a great cause!”
