Stayed one night in order to tour the resort and to consider joining the club. Have seen the resort from the lake for years, but had never seen the actual resort and amenities. We were blown away by the facilities (gorgeous and well-maintained) and the staff. Everyone was friendly and professional. Liked the fact that everyone greeted us and would even go back to open and hold the door for us when passing. Wish we had more time there. Will definitely be back to experience more. Highly recommend!

Beware! Not all the water condos are the same! No I don’t mean decoratively. I mean quality. This has been our favorite place to vacation for years. This is the first time that we have had an issue. Not only was it a huge inconvenience it was a huge disappointment. The manager that “helped” was Sasha! Customer Service should not be her line of work. She fooled someone into getting hired. The most unprofessional disrespectful staff member. I have a laundry list of staff that have been there for years that I have left several wonderful reviews for over the years. She argues with guests in front of other guests. She talks down to patrons, and staff. We will make sure to request water condos that we have visited before and only speak with our friendly staff we are use to. Stay away from her and make sure to double check your room and its reviews before staying.

When making a booking the details of the rates and promotions applied is not clear. The pricing is deceptive and does not clearly reflect discounts or promotions other then stating it is applied. You are left to assume that you will get a promotional rate without any idea of what the actual base rate plus all applicable fees are. After dealing with most major hotel brands for years and having lifetime elite status at one of the worlds largest brands this pricing and promotional structure should be updated to reflect all rate details appropriately at booking. Being a small boutique hotel / resort should not remove the standard the industry is being challenged with to present clear pricing and discounting at the time of booking. This hotel was the only available option due to the time of year.

White water 360 sports bar restaurant was a great time and Melissa Bunting just elevated the experience to a higher level. Loved her and she was great with kids!

It is a shame that such a great resort is reserving some great amenities like the Yacht Club pool and restaurant for members. I like to go 2 times a year on Easter and Summer and my kids have a blast playing tennis and swimming at the lake through the Yacht Club beach. Unfortunately it won’t be available any more .. the hotel’s pool is just OK .. but it will be a deal breaker for me and my family if the Yacht club pool and restaurant aren’t available we will look for other options … we don’t play golf.

Resort restaurant gave me the most disrespect I have ever seen. Hated me off the bat and physically hit me with a menu. Do not come here unless wants to be treated poorly.Food & drinks: Bad.

Disappointed! That is the best way to describe our latest visit. We are so sad to report that Horseshoe Bay standards have declined in management and quality of water condos. We have been visiting for over 4yrs now. We have always stayed in the water condos. This visit we arrived to a room that was not yet cleaned. The bed had dirty sheets, and in the restroom we found that someone had just used it and not flushed. Not only was the room disgusting but it was also severely outdated. It smelled like wet dog, the furniture was that of a 1970s abandoned home. Nothing like any other stay we've had at the water condos. Unfortunately, when addressing the concerns with management we were treated as we were a bother. We then were so lucky to have another manager approach us who just so happen to be the manager of the said water condo she continued to let us know that her water condo is perfect she has never had any complaints EVER. This is when I knew we were going to get no where with this. We then were told by the same female (Sasha) that we could pay an additional $500 and stay in another water condo. At this time I asked said manager what happen to the quality and customer service we always experienced at Horsehoe Bay. She shrugged her shoulders and I went ahead and left. This is the first time I have ever had such a terrible experience at Horsehoe Bay. Mr. Zimbaakey you would be so disappointed to know that this is the type of customer service you are now offering your most valued customers. We have many friends that we have made there over the years. I will be writing another review of those individuals and how they still are radiating quality and outstanding customer service in their fields. I do not want to include those individuals on such a disappointing note.

Exceptional service. Went above and beyond for me and my wife. Room was 10/10. Breakfast buffet was a little overpriced but the food was great. Pool and hot tub was well maintained. Mini golf course was fun but could use some maintenance.The only complaint I had was that the breakfast for the professional event that I attended had very few options for those with vegan/kosher/halal diets. Unfortunately, I had to exit the event and eat breakfast at the Starbucks in the lobby. Nonetheless, we had a wonderful time and hope to be back soon.

Amazing staff, beautiful property. Golf was amazing and my wife loved her spa services. Really can't say enough about how we were treated by literally every worker at Horseshoe Bay resort. We are definitely coming back.

To stuck up for me, The staff clearly have a case of affluenza. Lose the attitude your a clerk behind the counter in the middle of nowhere, The whole horseshoe bay area was dated and old.Just a waist of time driving forever to get somewhere , and money... not worth it.

This is a huge resort. Directions on where to check in can be a bit confusing but once I called, it was semi easy. We stayed in the water condo 1b/1b, which was difficult to find, but once we found it was a very easy in and out situation. We didn’t spend a lot of time on property but, we ordered room delivery and it came quickly and was enjoyed. This area is so beautiful! It has a far away from Texas feel. The day we checked out, 2 hours later, we received a call from their law enforcement department stating that we left behind a laptop. We are still waiting for delivery, which, we were glad to choose standard shipping. Overall we will definitely book here again. Weather was not permitting but there are boat and jet ski rentals available. So many eating options near, far, and between. We can’t wait to come back! Hopefully next month.

Our room showed a little wear, but was clean and well kept.Service was excellent from front desk, to housekeeping, to baseline court staff.Location was good for our stay to a new area.Rooms: Met expectations.Nearby activities: We drove about a half hour to hike a good trail and Marble Falls was just minutes away for restaurants and Main St. shopping and browsing.Walkability: We walked the resort property for exercise as well as to get to dinner and to the pickle ball courts.Food & drinks: Dinner at Whitewater at the marina was great. View was nice on the water, food was good, waiter was excellent-friendly, engaging, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu offerings.
