“If you live in the New Braunfels community and are in need of food (or know anyone in need of food ). The New Braunfels Food Bank could help you in your time of emergency. It is quite busy and you do need to do some paperwork wich can be done on line. It is important to know that you must schedule a appointment before you go in. Just call and they can set you up. They are very nice and will help you with any information needed.”

“Seems like just yesterday I was swimming and exploring these waters. It was 60 years ago when I was 8 years old. Born and raised in Comal Town on Austin Street made this area our backyard. The Comal Creek was a block away. We used to swim form the Island to the Landa Park Golf Course and then to Landa Park. Take care of it as visitors and progressively help us by donating much needed funding. Comal Town becomes an Island when the waters rise, like the flood of '72. The aftermath of debris can still be found in the Comal River from the Headwaters to Hinman Island. Get a copy and read the Herald Zeitung from yesterday's front page! New Braunfels voted the place to visit in 2024. Great write up and pictures. Like mi Abuelita used to say, leave it cleaner than you found it! Thanks.”

“This library is a great place to work. I brought my laptop and was able to be productive in this environment, which was much better than working from home or the office”

“Slumber Falls Camp is my home away from home! I would highly recommend sending your kids to camp here! SFC has been such a blessing in my life by providing the best memories, helping me create lifelong friendships, and connecting me to God. The campground sits right above the river, has incredible views, and is a great place to enjoy nature. I have even experienced renting a cabin and retreats, which have been just as magical. I could not recommend a better place to send your kids to summer camp. As a camper, I always felt so loved and had so much fun.”
