They closed my business account without notification:email, call, or written correspondence by mail. Then made me track down my own check after numerous calls to their “customer service “ which doesNot have a number for “corporate “ or email? Now , I’m waiting for a call to see when they will re deliver my cashier check for my account that was closed APRIL!!! 2 months ago ! This has to be against some kind of bank laws and I willBe contacting legal representation!

They are fraudulant, dishonest thieves! BEWARE! They will close your accounts without adequate prior notice OR authorization. And no matter how many times you call to try and get a situation resolved, they will NEVER answer the phone, nor will they call you back if you leave a message. Do not deal with these people. They will rob you blind.

Beware of Woodforest. This is in no way an indictment of any specific branch or employee, but rather their poor policies and high fees. I had been charged without my knowledge for years for a service I never authorized and never even used or received any benefit from. A misunderstanding is one thing, but when a bank as a whole is tone deaf to the nature of the misunderstanding and then isn't willing to rectify the situation, that's when it's becomes an obligation to let other's know that this is how they handle situations. There are too many good banks, willing to acknowledge their mistakes and then work with the customer in order to make it right. Not make a mistake and then burden the customer with additional steps. I own a business and am forward facing with customers all the time, and if this is how I treated my customers I wouldn't have a business. For future customers please consider another bank.

I have applied for work so many times and I have 14 years of Bank and Technology experience and am repeatedly turned down. I am not sure what it is that this Bank does not like about me, but don't worry I will not be applying for another job with Woodforest Bank!!! In the time it took me to hear back from these idiots about the job I had already found another job that I accepted and again I was not chosen for an entry level job. This place has no consideration of a candidates work history, skills and qualifications. I am so done with Woodforest Bank!!! Low paying jobs as well!!!

Where do I start with Woodforest. They are the most outdated bank I have done business with. The only way to activate their debit cards to to go to a branch and use the atm. There was fraud on my debit card, my account was drained, they only caught 2 of the smaller transactions, and reversed them. They said I would have to do a dispute for the rest of the charges even though they were only minutes apart. They make you come in to a branch and sign forms about the fraud, this took me about 30 minutes in the branch. They told me I would get the money back in 3-5 days. That's not the norm, first off. I called back in 4 business days to check on the status to find out the papers were never "sent in" from the branch I visited, so they can't process my money back to me. The customer service "manager" couldn't get ahold of the branch I signed papers at, so they have to request the papers electronically. I was on the phone for 25 minutes while she tried to get someone in the branch to answer the phone, just for her to tell me she couldn't help me today because no one would answer the phone at that branch. Then she continued to question me as if I never went in and signed the papers. They said they do not have to give me any type of provisional credit for the next 10 days and they will get back to me. This bank is a joke.

Great place to work at. They treat you fairly and offer many benefits. The facility is very expansive and the grass is lush and kept neat and trim. The lunches are 1 hour as well. It was a pleasure working there. I highly recommend Woodforest , especially the corporate office on Grogans Mill Rd.

Absolutely worst customer service and communication. I've used them for years...years...and they just keep getting further and further away from what made them what they were in the beginning. Now, you can't even contact a branch. You get transferred to India or somewhere else and then get zero help.

I just called the bank for help setting up my online banking on my Ipad. The most pleasant young lady named Liz spent at least 30 minutes or it seemed like that long. I have trouble with my hands and had to go back over and over. Liz did not rush me and I really appreciate her kindness. That's why I love my branch and don't want to change. It's the people not the stairs.
