Heidi, the "practice manager" refused to sell my husband the usual heart worm meds for Chloe due to 5 pound difference and they couldn't or wouldn't explain/justify and higher dosage. My husband left after asking for the records on both dogs ( which) he only had her to be seen. A week later I called to have Oliver seen because he was sick any they refused to see him, said good luck with your search and hung up on me! I have Never had this kind of treatment before and will never use them again! The BBB will be contacted as well! I wonder if the Vet knows his staff is running off clients and refusing care.

I was a customer at Churchland Animal Clinic for 10 years. In July 2023 due to incompetent and rude personnel I had to drop this clinic. Technician refused to renew regular prescription, could not explain why, cancelled service without my knowledge, abruptly left the room, did not come back to finish service, lied about what I said to her, sent another person to finish service. Considering that prices are ridiculous, for instance: $90 for a 5-minute wellness exam, $42 for a 5-minute ear cleaning, $35 for nail trim, I can take my $250 that I paid here for an annual checkup to another clinic.

Dr. Wassell is the most amazing vet around! I always feel comfortable leaving my dog in his care, and she loves paying everyone a visit. I wouldn't recommend any other clinic! 10/10

I have been bringing my animals here for years ! Dr Wassal is my favorite vet there . He seems so genuine and caring . My elderly cat mr Mow - went in for what we thought was a tooth abscess , and while he was under and Dr Wassal was going to perform the dental procedure , he realized it wasn't an abscess but a huge jaw tumor . I was devastated when he came out to talk to me , and I broke down - He was so comforting and seemed Almost fatherly . He recommended I put him to sleep while he was under cause he was in ALOT of pain - but I just couldn't . I wasn't ready to let him go yet and he was so understanding . He gave me all the pain meds he needed and I got to take him home and we spent the next two days with him saying our goodbyes . We had a mobile vet come to the house and let him peacefully pass at his home comfortably . The entire staff is always helpful and nice . I just read a few reviews talking about the front desk staff , and in 16 years is coming here have NEVER had an experience like that I will always recommend this vet to anyone who asks.

These people are wonderful! They gave extra time when BB got scared, explained everything and made sure I understood. Quick to respond to email and phone. Knew I needed to be seen rather quickly as I just got her and she was having issues and pushed up my appt when there was a cancellation. Wonderful people!

've been with this clinic for years and while the docs are great (Dr. BRAD and Dr. Amos specifically, both no longer there) Heidi and her front desk staff could use a lesson or two in customer service. After calling to get previous records sent to my new clinic for an urgent care situation. The first receptionist was unwilling to call the number I provided her to coordinate. "Why don't you call the number then call me back w/ and email address to send the records." Upon calling back, the phone was answered by Heidi. Who was unwilling to provide me the name of the previous receptionist yet took the email information and even called me back after sending the records to let me know they had been received. (Thank you again) HOWEVER, When I asked her again of the name of the previous receptionist so that I could make a report. She responded with "no, thanks" and hung up on me. Wow! I am later told by a friend she's the office manager there.....I pray the pet care/services have not deteriorated like the front desk staff. I won't be recommending any future clients, that's a fact!

The front desk made a mistake and ended up getting shots for one of our dogs that wasn't needed. When I questioned them, they made notes stating that we were changing vets (I didn't ever say that, I just requested her records) and the office manager, Heidi, told us that we were lying about how things occurred. I sent the proof via email and asked for Dr. Wassell to call me asap as I was really worried about our girl getting injections by mistake. It's been 3 weeks and they won't respond now, Dr. Wassell hasn't called us back, and none of my emails have been answered. I verified with our former vet in Missouri that our girl didn't need the injections she was given. I really like Dr. Wassell but the refusal to get on the phone or return calls is ridiculous. At this point I'm going to have to file a complaint with the licensing board. It's so aggravating, all of this could have been avoided if they would just own up to their mistake and correct it.

The staff was very friendly and clearly explained their COVID protocol. The vet herself was very kind and seemed to enjoy caring for my dogs. She provided detailed feedback on vaccines, flea treatment, breed-related behavior, and weight management.

I absolutely love everything about Churchland Animal Clinic. They discover things most vets don't. Dr. Amos is brilliant, her techs are incredible, i honestly couldn't ask for a better vet. Our puppy loves going to them, seeing and greeting everybody. Thank y'all for A1 service not only for our puppy, but for our reassurance also.

I initially went here because they were so close to home and I was new to the area. Over the past almost two years of service, they have earned my loyalty. They have seen my pets for both routine care and sick calls (including an emergency visit). Every visit I am impressed with their service and knowledge. They truly take the time to explain options to me and answer any and all questions. When my pets have been sick, they always call to check up on them. Back in November, we made the tough decision to put my 12 year old dog to sleep after a brief illness. Dr. Amos and the rest of the staff were so compassionate and understanding during that process. My other dog is quite a handful and they have been very flexible in their procedures in order to make him more comfortable during our visits. I've had other vets just man handle him and put a muzzle on him, but they took the time to listen to me and now he actually gets excited to go to the doctor! I'm so happy with this clinic, I hope others give them a try.

I have been dealing with Churchland Animal Clinic for several years now and I must say they are by far the best vet clinic I have ever dealt with. The compassion they've shown me when any of my animals were sick was incredible! Money was never their main focus, they put my pets needs over making a payment, plus their prices have always been reasonable. I recently had to make the difficult decision to let one of my babies go. They actually shared my pain and provided me with so much comfort it felt like we were all family. And to top it off, I received a sympathy card from the clinic with everyone signature on it. That meant the world to me! I truly love this clinic and highly recommend them for caring for your pets.
