We had to take our pug in on an emergency. The vet I had been using doesn't have an x-ray machine, so we had to use them. Let me tell you, we're switching our vet to airport West animal clinic. They did an outstanding job. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic. The vet answered all our questions and we didn't feel rushed. ? X2

I really love the way they handle my pitbull. I travel from the lower valley so she can get the proper care that I trust for my baby. Also I love the way they break down prices and the needs for yur baby.

They saw us right away to use chip reader to hopefully find the owner of two lovely German Shepherds who showed up at our farm in December.

Vet clinic was nice and clean. Brought a stray kitten in for the first time that was dying, let them know at the front desk, they provided some medicine to help the kitten but never gave me any forms or such to fill out and I asked about it, but they told me i was good to go. Fast forward a year later after moving, that I owe over 200 for the visit and that it was in collections already, then they proceeded to file a lawsuit. Bad communication. Wish they wouldve reached out by phone or something since they were able to find my address somehow.

This was my first visit and I was very happy. The reception was nice, the wait time was minimal and the price was fair. Most importantly, they took good care of my little bearded dragon. My only complaint is that they don't allow you to be present at the visit. They put you in a room and then take your reptile in the back for his exam.

I brought my small dog in here regarding a wound on her eye. It was swollen, the male doctor popped the swelling under her eye and gave us antibiotics and eye cream. We applied the eye cream as instructed. She died three weeks later.Recently I brought my two pets in because I was worried about the constant licking my dog was doing to his underside and my cat’s small burn like wound she had on her paw.I walked out having paid more than $250 with multiple types of medicine. She said my dog had dermatitis, it wasn’t even red or anything down there! I gave one the many medicines to only my cat. None to my dog. Both my dog and cat got better on their own after a week without needing any of the medicine I bought. The woman doctor especially ALWAYS gives the vibe of being more money focused and doesn’t ever do a thorough check up. I had to ask her myself regarding my dog’s benign tumor. I had to ask her myself if my cat is a at a good weigh. She didn’t even weigh her she just took one glance and quickly said “Yes definitely” and rushed me out the door.I’d go to a different clinic but unfortunately they’re not accepting new clients. If you’re looking for quality care DONT GO HERE. They are more focused on the money than actually doing a thorough and accurate job. If they would at least do a quality and thorough check up I could stomach and accept the expensive prices. But they don’t.

All the way round bad experience. The top of the list after thousands of dollars spent on unnecessary things or things that weren’t even done , they charge you to fill a prescription through chewy. I was beyond grateful to find another vet that was kind , thoughtful , did the necessary biopsy's before surgery. Two years of going there because I had to. I’ve never experienced any vet like them and I hope I never do again.

I was very impressed with the compassion & understanding of the entire team. I had to make decision to say goodbye to my 15 year old doxie (who i rescued at 5 weeks old). They took the time to explain the fees before i brought him in. Then each of staff treated us with kindness & respect during the process. They gave me time to be with him to the point i was comfortable with. One of hardest things i had to do was made a bit easier by compassionate staff. Thank you from bottom of my heart.

Hi, don’t get me wrong the receptionists are very kind and very quick in checking you in and out. I’m struggling here though. I HATE that the vet took my dog from me from inside the waiting room and I wasn’t present to see what was going on. He went in for his mouth to be looked at. I wasn’t offer to go in the room and they didn’t ask if I wanted to be present while they looked at him. They pulled his sutures (which obviously was fine) but charged for an exam (that I did not witness) and gave him a pretty expensive antibiotic shot without consulting me (I’m the owner). I don’t appreciate any vet just doing whatever they want without making sure the owner is aware. They also don’t accept CareCredit which is a good way to take care of your pets. Then, on top of that if you use any other card that doesn’t run debit they charge you another fee (credit cards). So, this clinic is almost not owner friendly. Stop taking pets in the back room without the owner, you can do your exams in the exam rooms. We should be allowed to see what you are doing with our pets.

Staff was rude and unprofessional. They were telling us different things on the phone and at the clinic. once we were asking questions the vet was talking to us in a very rude manner and made us feel stupid. I understand there’s frustration but there’s a way to handle a situation. When we were trying to discuss and get explanation about our payment, the vet started to get defensive and had said “Did you not take a science class in school?” That is not a way to talk to ANYONE. My family was confused and looking for answers, not to argue with anyone. Good customer service goes a long way. it’s not hard. Do not recommend. She also replies to bad reviews turning blame on everyone else but themselves.

This place only cares about money, they might seem like good people on the phone, but please do not be fooled! These people have changed up they're story they tell trough the phone when in person, change payment methods, do not even take In account the person's feeling when they're dog, someone who has been with them for a long time , has passed in they're possession and they don't even know at what time, what kind of vet does not check in at least every hour, Shame on this vet. Erika has some very rude manners, I hope you all take some lessons in being what you are meant to be, good people for the pets not money chasing people, shame on all of you.

‼️‼️DONT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE‼️‼️I experienced something that I would never wish upon anyone. I lost my best friend yesterday, my dog. I called the vet to tell them I wanted to get her cremated and they had told me that I could come in to talk about paying in payments. I also had expressed my concern about my dog being left alone for four hours even though she was in critical condition. When I went in they put my family and I in a separate room where I assumed they were going to show us my dog. When their vet, Erika comes in and says that “she was offended that we were mad that they didn’t check up on my dog when we should know that they aren’t a 24 hour clinic” I was never ever told that my dog was only being checked in on a few times a day they were so unclear with so many things Erika belittled us and made us feel like we weren’t smart. They ended up taking out the cremation bill before I even told them that I didn’t want it anymore bc I did not want my dog in their care anymore. We never refused do pay anything. Erika and her daughter were so rude and had no remorse on what we were going through. Her daughter told me “here’s your dog and here’s your bill” and they both left my family and I alone at the lobby. Please this vet does not deserve your money.

I have two dogs, one that is 12 years old and one that is 3 years old. I have been there at the vet for 8 years and have never had any issues. I made an appointment to take my dogs to get their shoots today at 3pm and i have always dropped them off and they usually give me a call within 2-3 hours to let me know to pick them up. When i went in today during my lunch break to drop them off, they told me they dont do that, like they had never done it before. Then they said in order to drop them off, I had $20 per dog to do so. I asked for my dogs vaccine record and am taking my business else where. I recommend you do the same.

My dog drakko had not gone to the restroom in a few days. He also started to throw up every time he ate. Drakko is a treat motivated dog. He has never once not reacted to me saying the word “treat”. I started getting really scared at that point. I called a bunch of vets in Yakima and none would take me in (this was in early June) except here and some place in Tricities. When I got here they were very kind and professional. They did an x ray and gave drakko some barium to see if he had a stomach blockage. I came in the next day and they saw there was a mass in his stomach and they said to wait a day to see if it moves at all. When I went the next day the barium was still there when it should already been out. The blockage also didn’t move at all. They told me I had to act cause the blockage was serious and with Drakko not eating he could die. They gave me two quotes. One was for if the vet could just squeeze it out after going in his tummy. The other was worst case scenario if she had to make an incision into his intestines and we wouldn’t be able to figure that out until they went in.He went into surgery and it happened to be the worst case scenario. They were going to have to make at least 4 incisions into his intestine to get the forgin body out. I waited in my car and they had someone give me updates constantly throughout his sugary. Not only was this the worst case scenario, it was even worse. My dog is a 25 pound mini Doberman, a small dog. And 10 inches of his intestines was dead and they were going to have to resection his bowls. They didn’t sugar coat anything and told me exactly what I had to do to keep him alive. I was a wreck bawling my eyes out and they were so kind and efficient. The sugary was a success, they had the sugary done within 30 minutes even though it felt like a 30 years. They even let me in to see my dog right after sugary just in case he didn’t make it though the healing process. He had tremors due to the anesthesia which was terrifying to see but they calmed me down and said it was normal and that they think he’s gonna be fine. They also didn’t charge me extra for the bowel resection.Although this was the worst few days of my life they did so much to make it easier.Drakko is alive and healthier than ever. He’s playing 10x more than he used to even before the blockage, like when he was a puppy. He’s lost weight and his bloating has gone down significantly (everyone though he was fat). He’s eating way more, his BMs aren’t hard and he’s going 3-5 times a day when he used to only go once a day.I’m very thankful to this vet for saving my dogs life. This dog is my everything and if he died that way a big part of me would’ve gone with him.I know this is a long review but I needed to put it on because they deserve the praise. So thank you airport west. I appreciate everything you did for my dog and I
