My client and family have appreciated Silverheels for a long time...recently needed to replace a beloved pair of Doc Martens. Rather than simply say, "They don't make that style anymore," Ralph took time to measure both feet, taking into account accommodating orthotics, researched on line alternatives and now a new pair of DM's are on their way to Yakima! Excellent customer service.

Tried to get service done, met with over inflated prices and with someone that is clearly too busy to get anymore work. Customer service could be better

My Birkenstocks needed replacement footbed liners. I looked online and saw that this business is a Certified Birkenstock Repair location. I sent an email to confirm that the liners could be replaced. I took the two pairs to Silverheels in February and was told it would be weeks or more. That was fine, as I was willing to wait for the sandals' repair. I got a call in June that they were ready. I picked them up on July 7 and before leaving the shop, I looked at them. Ragged, rough edges on the new liners, which fit the footbeds poorly. I pointed out one particular ragged edge sticking out and the shop owner cut it off. When I brought them home to try them on, they were narrower than before, with lumpy edges that would not accommodate my feet. There was still-sticky glue in the cork in several places, as well as a few threads of glue on the leather. The toe ends were curled up and I could not walk in them. Definitely not the Birkenstock fit. I contacted the shop with photos and said they were not wearable now. I asked for a refund, as I'd waited several months for a "Certified Repair". Instead, the shop owner told me to bring them back and he'd "redo" them. A refund would be preferable, since the sandals are not wearable now.

The guy who runs this place is super helpful and friendly. Good quality shoes. Pricey, but worth it. He fixes shoes, too.

He's very honest and forthright. He knew that he didn't have anything that would meet my needs, and he told me so upfront instead of going for an easy sale. I'm sure to come back once I have corrected the issue with my feet! He was both friendly and knowledgeable.

I brought shoes to have new heels and soles. The owner was very friendly and gave me a date when these would be done. While not a fast service, the work is quality, and they were ready ahead of the scheduled date. I went in 2 days after dropping off my first set of shoes, and asked the owner to check on another pair of shoes. He did a quick repair on the spot, and would not accept payment. This is service is hard to find.
