I only had an oil change but it was fast and reasonable. I didn't have to take the long trip to 459 where you need an appointment.

This was a horrible experience the service that was suppose to be provided was not in a timely fashion, vehicle stayed until he was ready to look at igot the vehicle back after the repair it was more damage than before,he purposely let an important component loose that could cause more damage .Had to go to another shop as soon as I left.I would not recommend this place to anyone you try to give people the benefit of doubt even though they act a shady way.Lesson is definitely learned I was skeptical at first about contacting this place but a repair was needed. He should not even be in business the way he casually hands a car back to a customer and not being totally fixed. There is a very honest mechanic shop off Roebuck parkway that does excellent repairs he confirmed that Bennett’s Motor World had smashed and dented delicate parts on my car don’t trust the phony smile the parts are overpriced they will tear up your car and leave you stranded.FYI take a look at the people he will have working on your car you will definitely take it somewhere else.

There is an excellent mechanic, a master mechanic, that works at this European car repair business. Probably one of the best in town. His name is Mike Renz.I've had nothing but great service from this business. And I have not had great experiences at other car repair shops in Birmingham.I highly recommend taking a European car to this shop for repair.

Took my car in for a diagnostic scan but they were unable to give me a definite answer on what the issue was so they didn't charge me for the scan. Overall very helpful and nice people

I'd taken my BMW to Bennett's location at the Summit which is now closed due to an issue with the serpentine belt, there was an oil leak in the filter housing which leaked on the belt causing it to deteriorate and break. Bennett's repaired the vehicle and I was back on the road but had a fault that they told me BMW would need to look at because it would clear. I thought that maybe the VANOS was damaged and when they inspected the VANOS the was apparently an issue with the eccentric camshaft motor. They replaced ECM and while doing the repair they noted pieces of the serpentine belt around the engine. I went in to see and there were pieces of belt visible without even removing the crankshaft. The Belt was ingested by the engine and which destroyed the motor. BMW advised that its common on all the N5X motors and when replacing a serpentine belt its something they inspect to ensure a customer's engine is not destroyed like mine. I went to Bennett and talked to the owner (who hadn't inspected the vehicle btw) and ultimately he asked me to leave his establishment and would not provide me with information I requested without cause of action being filed against him in court. I would not recommend Bennett's to anyone. Thanks.

Three years ago in 2011 I had that famous sqeaking noise coming from underneath the hood when turning the steering wheel on my 98' MB ML320. Bennette's Motor World said it needed a new steering servo pump and reservoir. Roughly $600 for the pump, $400 for work. Three years later, same symptoms, so I went again and they diagnosed again new steering servo pump and reservoir. This time they offered it for around $834 to repair. Then I googled..the common problem in 95% of the cases is the O-ring of the reservoir, not the pump. I went to Express Oil around the corner, and a VERY KNOWLEGEABLE guy told me the problem is that the power steering fluid is leaking from the reservoir! He installed a new o-ring for $148 including tax!!!!! It is working like a chime again. I am speechless... .and I am wondering if that new power steering servo pump three years ago was necessary in the first place. Feel free to make your own judgement!

They do excellent work, however, my bill was ALWAYS several hundred dollars. I cannot prove what Karl Braunewell claims (although I suspect he is being very truthful) but I nearly went broke allowing this place to service my (old 1980's) 7-series BMW's. After I moved away from downtown Birmingham I found more congenial places to take my cars. NOTE: The owner of the place used to work for BMW
- and was a highly acclaimed talent - but while I was a customer at Bennette's, he stayed in the front office and never worked on the cars!
