Is this how a 2018 Acura TLX A spec should perform? Have owned Acura's for 16 years. This week every warning light in the entire car alerted after having the car in the repair shop after 2 weeks (not to mention it took King one week to determine I needed a loaner car). Not acceptable! Highly recommend a Mercedes or Audi. Paid 35k for a 2018 and King Acura offered $21K for the trade in. Obviously I was not going to keep the 2018 model after the engine rod had to be replaced and all the electrical issues seen in the video below. Lost $13K on an TLX car owed one year.The team at Acura did their best but but very disappointed in Acura's trade in value. Highly recommend considering another model vehicle before choosing an Acura!! BUYERS:: Please watch the video. Do you want you or your family in an acura with every electrical warning light alerting.I even had to have the Acura towed as my local dealership said this car was "very dangerous to drive". Acura at the least could reimburse me for the tow fee.Update to Acura's feedback: Please check with your service manager. We paid for new belts, and other updates (none of which was compensated) in hopes of saving our 2018. But yet you still charged us. I cannot speak to the prior owners, Regardless of the prior owner(s) losing 13k for a 2023 trade in for a 2018 Acura shows how Acura values long term customers. We are a a family of Acura's our entire life. NEVER AGAIN!ACURA: Feel free to contact me. Im sure I will unfortunately visit your dealership again when I have a complete engine failure and electrical issues with the car purchased Saturday.Also, still waiting on the upgraded floor mats that were supposed to be included when I picked up the car. But of course, you forgot to have them in the car upon purchase. Perhaps your company should create a checklist" prior to selling a new car? Surely this was another dealers fault/my fault per your earlier comment regarding that my earlier Acura car had prior owners and potential issues?Birmingham Luxury Motors dealer definitely did not forget their promises and followed up with several calls to ensure we were happy with our purchase. my first ever review! looked for a sunroof and king Acura is charging a surplus for parts over MSRP. called the other birmingham and huntsville dealerships and they charged msrp saving me over $100. no more king Acura for me. very sad

Acura brand has been in our family for 33 years, 31 of them with King Acura. we purchased 3 vehicles from King Acura (the OG was from GA when we lived there) and have used King for all service on 4 different Acuras. Recently while performing a service on our oldest Acura, it was returned to us with a large crack in the windshield. It took the service manager one week to respond and his response amounted to "so what, too bad and not my issue." 31 out of 33 years with this group, so much money spent there and this is how they choose to treat long standing customers. Highly recommend others find another place to purchase and service their vehicle if in the market for or currently own an Acura. You will not be valued here.

I bought my first ever Acura from King Acura and had a wonderful experience! They treated me with respect and didn't give me a any hassles. Awesome customer service! Would highly recommend!

I purchased a 2022 MDX in May of 2021 from Leonard Roy. He was straightforward and easy to work with. I had ordered a different vehicle from Hyundai and the vehicle was showing in transit but was taking weeks to come in. I have previously driven Hondas and Acuras and decided I really wanted the new MDX. I called Leonard and he told me to come on in and he would wait for me. I didn't get there until around 5, and Leonard was waiting and spent the next couple of hours helping me decide which vehicle and get it purchased. No hard pressure sales tactics from either him or the finance manager which I totally appreciate. My car is wonderful, I would highly recommend the 2022 MDX. Also, I had a little trouble and had to take it to King for service. They were also fabulous. Highly recommend this dealership. They also do a wonderful job servicing my daughters 2016 ILX. Good Job King Acura!

Horrible, I MEAN HORRIBLE customer service in the service department. Called to make and appointment for B1** service and the woman who answered the phone was curt and rather unhelpful. Nonetheless, I was able to get a morning appointment two days later (Friday). Today (Thursday) I planned to test drive a new truck and possibly get the oil change, which the service receptionist in the phone said was easier to get. After seeing the line and people sitting, I thought it would be impossible to get something done today, so I made the observation known to the service woman, in jest. She was extremely rude. Now, I understand the pinch that we all are in with the economy and consequential impacts to supplies and our workforce, but damn! I then told her I have an appointment for tomorrow morning and asked whether I could leave my car tonight and be first in cue for my morning appointment, "NO!" was Alicia's response. My response: I would rather travel to Montgomery or Huntsville to be serviced and be treated in a manner that doesn't entail me having to meditate and deep breath when encountering rude and disrespectful employees. APPOINTMENT CANCELLED! Moreover, my next vehicle WILL NOT be an Acura truck! SALE ABORTED. Do better Acura.

Literally just spent all day trying to buy a Volvo XC90 from these people. They wouldn't take a check, would not bother to call and verify funds with my bank, and tried pushing financing after I told them I wanted to pay cash. I spent over $200 getting the car inspected, and spent my entire day trying to work out a way to give these people $$ for their car. Now it's Memorial Day weekend, my bank is closed through Monday and I won't have time to look around! Sales person was helpful and nice, but they're not efficient at all and I don't appreciate them wasting my time.

We were looking to test drive a new 2022 MDX. I called a week ago and was told that all of the models coming in were sold Today we received a call from the salesman and he told us that he had one we could drive and asked us to set up an appointment, which we did. When we got there we were told the car wasn't ready. To make a long story short we did not get to drive one and there were a lot of excuses and what felt like lies. We are headed to Montgomery to Test drive one and will not go Back to King Acura.

This dealership is pathetic and through my experience I know without a shadow of a doubt that racism still exist. On 10/02 I called to received expert advice regarding my vehicle and sensors that suddenly appeared on my dashboard. From reading online the sensors that notifying me of some potential problem indicated that the "parking brake could get stuck and cause the vehicle to roll." I called King Acura to see if this required my immediate attention because I was due to visit this dealership to have services done to my car due to a recall. I spoke to a very impolite, incompetent, so-called customer service rep by the name of Rachel. Rachel over-talked me during our phone conversation, showed no empathy to my concerns with the potential hazardous nature of my vehicle and the fact that I am constantly traveling with a year old. Rachel even went as far as hanging up in my face during our phone call. I went to the dealership to speak with Rachel's manager because Rachel hung up in my face and refuse to answer the phone after attempting to call back several times. When I got to the dealership Rachel and I exchange words because once again Rachel was very impolite, hostile and inhumane! I asked for Rachels manager as there was not civil communication with this type of individual. Rachel pushed me and I defended myself by slapping her. They called the police on me and took a report. The police, manager (Jeff Walker) and client relations manager (Rhonda Locke) agreed to ban me from the facility and refuse my recall service. I called the Acura headquarters and was assigned a case manager Lisa who also did not provide me any help or assistance. She only gave me another location to have my car serviced at which is an hour and 30 minutes away from where I live. When I tried to obtain a police report from the Hoover Police department i was denied a report because an officer by the name of (Officer Howell with Hoover Police Dept) listed me on the report as the suspect. I was listed as the suspect even after Acura's associate Rachel attacked me first. This is pure discrimination because of the color of my skin. Had I attacked Rachel first I know for sure I would have been taken to jail. This company is horrible and clearly accepts and prays violence and mis-behavior of its associates. I would like to demand an apology from King Acura and Rachel needs to be separated from her job. It is very apparent that she has no customer service skills and she does not have the ability to humanly communicate with the public!

READ THIS REVIEW. We had been searching for a used vehicle for 3 months. I HATED every dealership i visited-- typical abrasive, sleazy car salesmen and even worse management. King Acura was TOTALLY CHILL. That's shocking to write in a car dealership review, but everyone there was just normal, calm, and ..chill. No hyperactivity or drilling us. No gimmicks. We felt like we got a fair trade in deal. They have a great red carpet treatment for customers (my husband loved the complimentary Capri Suns..80's flashback). Our guy, Tony Mickens, was SO nice and SO normal and now he and my husband text and are legitimately buds. We'll definitely try to purchase from King Acura again, ...and i cannot believe i've finally left a positive review of a car dealership. Well deserved.
