Went with my girlfriend to drop her car off for a leaking tire/tire inspection. They proceeded (without permission) to go through and inspect the entire car then inquired whether or not we wanted them to do like $500 or so of non-essential maintenance we didn’t ask about. They had to do some disassembly to get to the parts they inspected. What if they had accidentally damaged something during the unwarranted inspection? Why would they do this without asking? It’s not courteous, it’s dishonest. I assume they tried to take advantage of us because it was a woman’s car. The guy running the counter that day (not Sean, he’s a really nice guy) was also unfriendly and cold. I used to take all my cars here when Greg ran the place. I won’t be back.

7/25/25 Left my Toyota Tacoma for oil change tire rotation.
7/26/25 Note found (Pictured) front seat. Lug nut studs stripped out. Cross threaded or over tightened. This shop was the last to rotate my tires on 12/20/2024. 8/1/25 dropped truck off to have damaged parts replaced. Manager Sean ordered incorrect part. After being provided what part to order. ( still ordered incorrectly)
8/1-8/8 Manager decided without confirmation to order parts and complete work on my vehicle. Then charged me for the repair.
Final work completed : instead of replacing damaged wheel spacers. Shop removed the wheel spacers and replaced the studs. No estimate for work completed. Was charged $144.43/w tax for repairs.
If discussed my preference was replace the wheel spacers this shop damaged.
Replacement wheel spacers are $85.99/ w.o Tax. Requested Sean remove the cost of the spacers, bringing total to $58.44 which he declined.
Shop damaged my truck, charged me to repair. I do not recommend this shop not for the technicians (they’re great) but due to the incompetence of the management.

Quick, pro and efficient, they managed to do all the repairs overnight, my car was back in good condition before I knew it. It required a follow-up, they took me the next day. I recommend.

Beware !! Took my vehicle here for a tire rotation and they left some of the lug nuts off my trucks tires which could’ve easily resulted in a major crash if my wheels had popped off ,, once I brought it back there was no sorry or anything they were very rude about it
do yourself a favor and stay away from this place there’s a reason it’s also Empty

Made an appointment for a simple oil change with a coupon we received and it still took over two hours. Had a full inspection of my vehicle (which they did not tell us they were going to do, nor did we ASK for it. We made an appointment because we have two small children and were in a rush. We just needed a quick oil change.) Price rung up well above what the coupon said it would be but of course there’s always fine print, which after we asked more than once what the price would be, they still sprung a higher price on us at the last second.
Also no surprise that even though we recently had our vehicle inspected and there were 0 issues, suddenly after their inspection we have a few things we need to fix.
If there actually is anything needing to be fixed (which I doubt) I definitely will not be going to them.
Highly disappointed and do not recommend.

I drive across the bay to work and when my car started to have issues. The new owner has been understanding and helping me understand what needed to be fixed and why. He has been kind every time I have taken my car to them. The staff are wonderful. I’ve gotten my car back fast and efficiently. They are honest with the work they do and are willing to answer all your questions.
I am back driving on the road again. 👍 to Tuffy Tires & Auto Service. Thank you for everything!
