Store called me and reached out to me. Then, as the coversation was ending, a lady told me “Thank you ma’am for being the rudest person,” and hung up. Nice way to conduct business, folks!

Nobody on the sales floor to help customers. 2 Pharma assistants overwhelmed in work. Go somewhere else.

The CVS Florence Blvd store is in a conveniently located but small. The store is well stocked, clean, and there are a lot of good sales. They have what I assume to be a giant dehumidifier inside (that helps it feel nice in the store) and the air was clean. It rains a lot here and it’s humid outside but the atmosphere was nice here. They only had 1 employee in the front and 1 in pharmacy, Neither one of them was friendly. No greeting or friendly conversation but it was a fast check-out.

I wish I could give zero! Worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with! I had two prescriptions refilled and suppose to be 90 days supply and both were filled with 30 day. Called them and ask why and the attendant told me that’s the way the Dr wrote it this time and I said oh no it wasn’t, I have the empty bottle in my hand that reads 90 day supply with two refills and this is not a new script . Our insurance covers 90 days always has and she said you will have to talk to the pharmacist. Pharmacist told me that my insurance musta have changed to call them. Called Caremark, no changes to our coverage.Caremark calls them and the pharmacist tells her that I picked up yesterday before time for the insurance to cover, which was a flat out lie. I picked up today. If that were the case why are they filling it before scheduled time? They will tell you anything to get you off the phone and definitely tell a lie to try and cover their negligence. They are incompetent! If I could use anybody else I would have been gone years ago. But I will transfer to another CVS. This has happened a total of 4 times with different medication.

Between florence and muscle shoals I wish I could give them a zero star. Constantly out of scripts with bad and slow service. All I needed was a statten script filled from five days ago. CVS IM SO DONE !

Obiviously there is a staffing issue, but also that is no excuse for poor communicaton. They will tell you they are filling a prescription and when you return they will claim that they have to order it. When you try to call they put you on hold and I can drive there in the amount of time it takes for them to answer. I have been a customer for 20 plus years and thought it was a convenience to go to CVS, but each month it takes a up to a week to get the meds that I need, and not to mention trips back and forth. They never have any of the meds available. Customer service in the past is not the best either. If I am giving hundreds of dollars a month to a business I would expect better treatment. I am taking my business else where, to be appreciated.

This is my favorite place to stop by, specially if I need a few items and I like to use their cupons. Stuff is always very nice and helpful!

There's a special place in the burning pits of hell for the head pharmacist at this location. 'He doesn't accept GoodRX for controlled substances due to the 'low income people' who use this location.' This statement was told to me by 4 surrounding locations when I was calling to inquire if they had my meds in stock/what was going on in this location as I've never had an issue with it being accepted at any other location or pharmacy. I'm sure I'll come back to expand on my thoughts on this later till then just know the devil's gonna have fun ripping off your fingernails when you meet.

I was really intending on leaving a 1 start review I waited in the what says “FULL SERVICE Pharmacy line for 40 mins. Only to have poor communication and have to come inside. I could see they were busy and I know and understand what busy is in the profession I work in as well but I was then helped by a very caring and apologetic drop off lady who deserves recognition. She got right on it from start to finish, and I even heard her tell the pharmacist “you have one needing to be checked. so Thank u for that

Can you give negative stars? Incredibly unprofessional. Dr called in Rx on Tuesday. By Friday still no word from pharmacy. Went to Florence location to ask. It wasn’t ready and I asked tech to check and he said nothing was waiting to be filled and suggested I call my doctor. I go outside. Call. Confirm it’s been sent. Also logged in to my CVS account and see that it and the 2nd Rx (which had been ready) we’re both sent in. I go back in the store. Wait about 5 mins at the pick up counter along with 2 other people. Pharmacist pops up from behind computer and says I’m sorry we are at lunch. I explain I had already been there the previous 25 mins in this situation and needed an answer on what was going on. She looks it up and sees it is waiting be filled but it was on hold. I asked why and she didn’t know. (I don’t have refills. I have to get a new Rx each time following a Dr visit and this has been a 3+ years now pattern…with another CVS) she asked if I wanted to fill it. Well. Yes please. She says it will be ready that afternoon. Ok good. Afternoon comes no Rx.Enter Saturday afternoon. I call ahead to check and tech says “we are counting it right now” and I ask will it be ready after lunch. She puts me on hold then comes back to ask my me my Rx dosage (I thought you were filling it??) and I tell her and she says they don’t have enough to fill it. Mind you… this is day 5 since Rx was called in. I say fine, fill what you have and I’ll pick up the next when it arrives. She says it will be ready after lunch. At 230 I go in to pick up… she says they are filling it now. What? I though you were “counting it out” at 1215? So I said can I send it to another CVS. She says yes ma’am (in that totally recognizable snide tone) and I walk out.In the parking lot I call the Athens CVS to transfer it. Gentlemen puts me on a 2 min hold, says it will be ready in about 45 min. And they did.Look. I get they might be short staffed. But join the club. Everyone is. That’s no excuse for not communicating or being dishonest on where you are in the process. CVS has a pretty great automated service to tell customers the status of their Rx. Mine is not a common medication so I understand if it needs to be backfilled. Typically I get the automated message with that information and a date it will be ready. The Florence pharmacy never attempted to fill it or contact me via human or automated system on the status, and then had the gall to treat me as though I shouldn’t be frustrated.A little honesty goes a long way, and they lack both that and curtesy.

The CVS pharmacy on Florence Blvd has poor customer service. They fill your prescription when they get ready to even if you call ahead of time. The stay short staffed. They have attitudes as soon as they pick up the phone. If I could send my prescription elsewhere I would.

I filled a prescription today and the pharmacy was extremely busy. The phones were ringing off the hook, people in line inside the store and drive thru. I had an awesome tech help me. Her name was Morgan according to her name tag. She was so kind and patient. Another customer was yelling and she never lost her cool. She was kind and calm even under extremely stressful conditions. I wish more stores could have more employees like her. Thank you Morgan for an outstanding job!!

My mom has arthritis and has on file that she needs the easy open bottles and they frequently give her bottles she can't open. So frustrating
