I showed up 5mins to close and Keith was alone and still had lots of work to do but he was so kind to fill my antibiotics. I appreciate him so much for filling them instead of making me wait for the next day.

Been to this pharmacy twice since we been here for antibiotics and the techs and people that work here are ridiculously rude. Please do yourself a favor and take some classes on good customer service. It's Your job to give your patients information about the drugs they are getting such as pricing info, stop acting like it's a pain to do so. If it is, then quit your job.

we have called for 3 days to just check on meds, no one ever answered the phone. we go down to the place to see what is going on, they did not have our order ready to pick up, because we couldn't get thru on the phone. while sitting there only one other person there as a customer, and 5 people working in the pharmacy, and not one of them would pick up the ringing phone, it rang and rang, over and over, not one of the workers there answered the phone WOW, someone really needs to take charge of this. people need their meds, and this is a really good walmart, but this is ridiculous. i will check on going else where now:(

Parking lots are clean and well lit. There's a lot of employees just standing around outside. The store seems to be fairly clean and well organized. The prices are the same. It's not really much else to comment on.

Literally the worst pharmacy I've ever used. Edith is the rudest tech to ever speak to those suffering from mental illness. I am unsure how these people are allowed to keep a job.

Their auto service department is horrible. I've waited for six hours just to get tires put on and there was only 2 cars ahead of me. Today my daughter went to get her oil changed and it took 2 hours. They never told her when it was completed so she sat there for 45 minutes before she asked if it was done, which it was. Every single time I've taken one of my vehicles there they NEVER notify you when it's done and never call if you drop it off. And good luck finding anyone working in that department. They're either at lunch / dinner, or short staffed....every single time. I've met the supervisor and she just let's her team run ragged and do whatever they want. I'll spend the extra money and go somewhere else from now on.

This is the worst pharmacy I have even been to. Not only do they not ever have my order ready even when it called in sometimes days before and you have a text saying it's ready but they also don't notify you of price changes. Hence my $10 medication the charged me $60 for. Just don't go here!

It's unfortunate that some items can only be found here, because there's never any cashiers. Ever since they got the self check out they will only have a few registers open with lines spilling out into the main aisle.

I am much more familiar with the Walmarts in Crestwood, Lakeshore, and Hoover so naturally when I come to a different one I'm a little out of place. The hair product aisle and skincare aisles seemed backwards. They also didn't carry the particular shampoo I was looking for today. The best thing about this Walmart? They have a Freeosk. A freeosk is a kiosk that holds free samples of new products. Today, they had Nature Valley granola cups. The only other Walmart in Birmingham with a Freeosk is in Trussville, while a few Sam's Clubs have them too. The only thing weird about this Walmart, was that I came in at 6:00am one day, and they had at least 20 workers stocking items on their shelves. They had no cashiers working at all, and it was all self-checkout. I hardly ever do the self checkout, and while there was one employee assigned to help the customers with the self-checkout, I do think this is a weird system to have. I just think there should be at least two cashiers working at all times at such a big store.

Go to Publix

I gave them my insurance info and they didn't use it, and told me I had to go to the drop off counter for them to correct their mistakes. I chose to pay rather than wait any longer than I already had. I understand it was busy, but I've worked in customer service, and the medical field, and you always work with the patient and customers to fix YOUR mistake especially when they have been sitting in front of you for 30 minutes waiting on their medications for a tooth extraction. I chose to just pay rather than continue to argue with the cashier, whose fault it wasn't. If you are at the drop off counter and someone gives you their insurance information you should probably be competent enough to enter it in. Unfortunately, this has happened before at other Walmart's as well. I would recommend going anywhere else, because I've never had that happen at Publix, CVS, or Walgreens.
