I like this gym, the monthly fee is cheap. But they do need a few more machines, but other then that it's a great place to workout.

Hi, I’d like to suggest anyone who’s thinking of signing up, to please reconsider! Gyms like planet fitness are way better options. I am thoroughly disappointed in their poor customer service. You would think an actual facility would have the ability to be decent at communicating, but this location is everything but decent! I signed up for a yearly membership and paid full in three month payments, and was told I could cancel at anytime. I recently called the manager who was in charge of everything (did I also mention no paperwork was involved? Unprofessional to the very end.) and he immediately gave me a number and hung up. I called the third party and found out I can’t even cancel with them bc I paid a full year. According to them, they have no clue why the manager, Mark, even referred me to them because such cancellation process (my case) has to be done with him and the branch I signed up for. I have been trying to contact Mark, which was to no avail, who has not picked up any calls since he gave me the other number. Totally unprofessional and poor location. I cannot emphasize this anymore, just look elsewhere!

I have been a member since 2013. They have recently moved to a smaller space which is litterally a smelly box that used to be a tax place or something a few buildings down from its orginal location. The space is less than half the orginal size there is no space no private women's section. Half the equipment gone and whats left does not work properly. I have tried to cancel my subscription for 2 months. Paramount Acceptance does their billing they have given me the run around. They tell me I have email them to cancel I cant do it over the phone and proceed to give me an email thats incorrect. The email wont go thru. So I went directly to their website and filed a complaint their and stated I wanted to cancel. I havent heard anything back as of yet. This used to be an awesome gym but is gone downhill so bad I have no choice but to find someone else.

I love this gym. I love it have a women only section if you feel uncomfortable around guys. I been coming here for years (2015). The staff is nice they smile and speak to you. I haven't been in a month but this like my second home. The only issue i have is... In the winter it be really cold in the inside. Other then that i love it!

Worse customer service ever. They charge u month after month but then when u try to cancel it's a whole problem and they give u the run around. Then turn around and try to charge u to cancel. That they dont mention til the very end. Oh by the way u have a $25 fee. Such a RIP off

I haven't lived in Alabama in a year and a half. Haven't used this membership in 4 years. They keep taking money out of my account. I submitted my complaint to them twice, they said I wasn't even in their system.!! FRAUD. I filed a claim with my bank, and they will be reaching out to this company.

This place is my home gym. The place isn't very clean, but if you're coming here to lift this won't bug you much. An old fashioned lifting environment is the best part. There are a ton of no frills lifters here that push serious weight and are inviting to new people trying to better themselves. Monthly dues are cheap and easily worth the price. Would have given it 4 stars, but the maintenance on their equipment is bad. When things break, they stay broken for some time. But you know what doesn't break? Free weights...

They are liars and they are falsely advertising. The guy who was there said that the membership was only $20 every month and he said that they were no cancellation fees. But it’s really 30 and there is a fee for cancellation. Also I contacted their email to cancel my account before it was over $30 and NO ONE EMAILED ME BACK and now they gave me this outrageous amount to pay!! DO NOT GO THERE!

Okay it is a trap and the manager is very rude. As soon as he hear that I want to cancel my membership, he gave me a phone number and hung up the phone so quick that I don’t even have a chance to write it down. Like everybody else said, you have to literally go throw a lot of steps and deal with that 3 party company. It is just not worst it. Not mention about the facility, terrible.

Currently looking for a new gym because this one is unkept and dirty. The ladies locker room is never clean. The toilets appear as is everyone ate chili dogs for lunch. I apologize for being graphic but want everyone to know how unclean the facility can be. My friend joined me during my workout and immediately broke out with a rash afterwards despite cleaning the machines. However, The vibe is cool, the music is trendy, and the ladies only section is okay but it doesn't stop men from following you or peeking in at you.

UPDATE 2017: They're now open 24/7! Great idea. I still enjoy getting a getting a good workout here, however they need maintenance on their equipment. Many of their exercise bikes and treadmills are broke down. Just need to fix them up.
Very good Gym. Have once again renewed my subscription, on an1other GREAT Memorial Day Weekend special, which turned out to be a very good deal for me. It's all a matter of the timing. But I also wish they had more hours and were open seven days a week; But nonetheless they're a great place to go to get just about all of what you need to enjoy a great workout.
