The best Pakistani authentic food I've tasted in the USA .

If you are expecting Hooligans or Makarios style kabobs, then this is not the place. Go here for the info-pak style kabobs!!! This is exactly what authentic indo-pak style kabob is supposed to taste like. I hate most indian restaurants, but I keep going back here repeatedly. Please get their kabobs!!!! The food is absolutely delicious and the service is wonderful. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. You guys are the best. All the best!!!

Indian-Pak comfort food for the soul. We tried Kebab-Liscious in Hoover and found it to be a warm, welcoming and delicious place to dine. Located in The Plaza at Riverchase on what is now seemingly becoming Hoover?s own ?Restaurant Row?, the cozy restaurant is a no-frills space dedicated to serving diners creatively prepared recipes, perfectly spiced, and welcome to the pallet.

Walked into this establishment on a whim and was blown away. I wasn't expecting such delicious food and positive atmosphere. The cashier took the time to explain each item on the menu as I am not familiar with Indian/Pakistani dishes. I tried the nihari and it was very rich, meaty, and spicy. Everything I wanted on a chilly day. The naan bread was homemade and it definitely showed, it was very tasty and paired well with the nihari.

Staff was extremely helpful in walking you through the menu. There was a very large party that put their order in before I did, but I never felt like my food took a while to come out. Food was served ?American Spicy? but they can make the food as spicy as you like it. I will definitely be coming back again, hopefully I won?t be too distracted by the LED light in the bathroom faucet!

So, so good and authentic!! I've loved everything I have tried there (which is pretty much everything). My favorite place to eat out!

I tried this place for the first time and it was delicious! I had the chicken tikka masala, which I asked to be mild spicy, with the saffron rice. It was made to order! Will definitely be back to try other menu items!

Some of the best grilled food I have EVER had in Alabama! Great quality, amazing service, and good ambience. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to have some good food

I love this little restaurant! It's well worth the drive from Birmingham to get authentic food. They have a grill section of the menu with things like kabobs and meats, and also a more traditional section of stews and plates. It's hard to figure out what some things are if you aren't familiar with the traditional names, but there's a TV with scrolling pictures of menu items. I recommend taking a look at the pictures on yelp first! The employees there are really nice and happy to help explain anything on the menu. I got the lamb chops, which were very tender and perfectly cooked. I also got bullet naan as my side, and honestly I could eat just 4 orders of that for dinner. It's traditional naan with garlic, peppers and cilantro on top. My friend said the dishes with goat are also very good, so I'll have to try that next time. Pretty much everything there is spicy, so just be prepared! It seems a little on the pricey side for a place that you order at the counter, but getting an indo-pak home cooked meal is hard to come by so it's understandable. Expect to spend about $20 a person if you want sides and a drink. My only issue with my visit was that I placed a to-go order after we ate, and it took them about 30 minutes before they realized they forgot about me. I wasn't in a rush, so it wasn't a big problem, but something that could be better. I can't wait to go back and try more on the menu!

I had this place on my list of places to try out and am glad I did. The place is not that big but there are several table inside. It had the feel of a mom and pop place with paper plates and plastic utensils that you pick up at the desk after you order. The food was good, a bit on the spicy side, if you can handle it. I ordered the aloo samosas and the nehari. Everything tasted fresh and there was a generous portion of meat in the nehari. I also had their mango lassi which was delicious and not too sweet. Overall I had a good meal for a good price and I would totally go back if I'm in the area again.

I've tried this place twice. I absolutely love it. Very authentic and the spices are outstanding. Try the nehari and the saffron rice. Spicy but flavorful.

Kabob-licious is De-licious!! We ordered Chicken Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala, and a plain Naan. Loved how the naan was made fresh and everything came out hot! The portion was reasonably sized and everything was super tasty, yum! The owners were very nice as well. We did ask for everything to be as NOT spicy as possible as we had two kiddos with us. Even at mild, one of the kiddos still can't handle the dishes that we ordered, so she just watched us eat. More for us! We will swing by Mickey D or something for her later LOL.

Fantastic food. Drove here because it was recommended by a friend and it turned out excellent. One of the few places in town where I've managed to find Nihari! The owners were there and took my order, ran my food, and made sure everything was running smoothly. I always appreciate that extra touch of seeing the business owner in a small business. Would recommend to anyone!

This is the best Indian and Pakistani food currently available in Birmingham, and by a wide margin. My wife and I have dined here on several occasions, and each time has been a special experience. Here are the key things to observe: 1) The food is prepared fresh, on the spot, by a team of family members. 2) The food is authentic, and you will find many things on the menu that you have never heard of. This is a good thing. 3) By customer request, the food can be ordered very spicy. This is actually a rarity in Birmingham, as many ethnic restaurants here will not take you seriously if you order "Indian Hot" levels of spice, for fear that you won't like it. So, to reiterate, the owners here are willing to serve you real, authentic Indo/Pak cuisine. Culinary paternalism is kept to a minimum. 4) That said, Medhi and Ash (the owners) are extremely willing to give advice about what to order. That is another rare attribute. Many restaurants simply say "everything is good here" which may even be true sometimes, but is not helpful for diners looking to make a selection. 5) Medhi and Ash are among the kindest and most friendly people around. They work hard to make you feel a part of their family. 6) Portions are generous and inexpensive, especially given the quality. In summary, this restaurant is of the very best kept secrets in Birmingham. I highly doubt it will stay secret for long.

You order at the counter, pay, receive a number and the food will be brought to your table. My first impression: Clean, functional, well lighted, a bit bare bone. Employee friendly and helpful. The lunch special ($8.99) lets you pick 3 samples from a separate menu and includes a choice of naan or rice . I picked vegetarian options: Potato Dosa, Paneer Tikka Massala, and mixed veggie with naan. All good, flavorful, quite spicy, and overall a good sized portion. I was not convinced by the mixed veggies but Dosa and Paneer Tikka Massala were good. The Tikka Massala contained lots of paneer and was tomato forward and a bit less creamy than I make it.

Been hearing good things about this place! Brought my parents here this past weekend to expand their Halal meat offering restaurants in town! The restaurant is tucked into a strip mall with plenty of parking. There's a no fuss, take out spot vibe to this place but they do have decent table seating inside. There are two mounted TVs! Now the food! We ordered the beef samosas - they were ok, not as flavorful as we would expect. But crispy exterior! We ordered 3 orders of naan, 1 per person. Absolutely delicious made in house naan! For entrees to share, we got the chicken tikka boti - delicious, flavorful, and love the heat that comes with the after taste! Behari kabob was mm mm mm - like melt in your mouth good literally! Their marination process on this is on point and we ate every bit! This is definitely a meat lover's delight but they do have a couple of vegetarian options on the menu. Very nice family owned spot, follow them on FB for special offerings that they announce on their page!

My family and I wanted to try something different so we said let's try this place. I see why they have 5 stars. The food was so good and the service was topnotch!!! It was too spicy for my dad, but the flavors were so good that he couldn't stop eating it. I would have taken a picture of my food, but I was too busy eating it to think of anything else lol. Needless to say I will be back soon

My husband and I stopped by after work wanting something new and different. The first thing I noticed was how clean it looked. After browsing the menu, I decided to try the goat biryani. It is spicy but not so overwhelming that you can't appreciate the different spices and flavors. The goat was not "gamey" but tender and well marinated. The rice was a great compliment to the meat. They are always trying out new additions to the menu. They do have lunch specials The staff is really friendly and willing to help you decide what to try. I'd definitely go back!

This is probably my most favorite indian food place in Birmingham. The foods are always fresh and great. Their boti and behari kabab are the best. Beside dine in, I did some takeout and the foods were always great. I also like their new lunch plate that let you choose 4 items from the list. I definitely recommend this place to anyone.

My husband and I went in for dinner. It was our first time and as soon as I walked in I liked it. It's decorated in a modern color palate (gray) and everything is pretty and new including the bathrooms. It's the type of restaurant where you order at the counter and are given a number. When your food is ready they will call your number. They actually brought our food out to our table for us. The woman that was working the counter was very nice and happy to answer any of our questions on the menu since we weren't family with most items. We ordered chicken samosas, chicken kadhai, chicken tikka masala and plain naan. All the food was delicious. I like spicy food but I'll admit this pushed the upper limit of my spice tolerance. Keep in mind that the dishes are served a la cart so if you want rice or naan you need to order those in addition to your entree. We will definitely be back.

Delicious!! Third time eating here, and I'm never disappointed. If you're lucky you can get the Tikka Pizza! It's made on naan bread and totally worth it!

My friend and I decided to meet for lunch at Kabob-licious after she had seen great reviews on Yelp. This restaurant is run by a family who was so personable and friendly when we visited. I will definitely visit again just because of their hospitality. The food was also amazing! Their menu is easy to navigate, and If you have questions about the different items, just ask they will gladly explain their dishes. There is also a screen with running pictures that shows you the different selections. This was very helpful and the main reason I decided on ordering the Chicken Boti and the Garlic Naan bread. We received our meal quickly. Nice to know if you're on a lunch hour. The presentation of the Chicken Boti with the red marinate made my mouth water. (Later I read that the red coloring is from beetroot powder.) The kabob was a nice portion and the chicken, chargrilled perfectly, was tender and juicy. The Garlic Naan bread was served warm (YUM!) and was super soft. Eat it together with the chicken and you have a perfect meal. Another favorite was the Bullet Naan bread. It was also served warm and has a spicy kick to it. Quick note - If you prefer your meals spicy and hot, they will turn up the heat for you. Just ask!
