Had a Reservation booked for this location arrived and no one was at the location, nor was the phone answered. We waited almost an hour and no one showed up. However their listed business hours said they were open at the time we arrived. Budget customer service was no help as well since they simply rescheduled us for the same location 2 days away and we were already supposed to be moving.It may have been a good thing that no one was there though as the majority of trucks appeared wrecked or damaged with only 1 or two appearing semi road worthy.

We rented a truck online and when we got to this location in Montgomery no one is here and we've been sitting here for over an hour still haven't been helped. I definitely recommend you not waste your time here.

Booked a truck a month in advance for an early morning pick-up. We arrive to get the truck and they let us know they don't have any trucks available for us. The truck we reserved was not being returned until late afternoon (who knows if the truck would have even been returned by then since the customer didn't provide a valid phone number). Really frustrating process... we had to drive 1.5 hours away to get another truck. Highly DON'T recommend this location for a truck rental.

My car broke down far away from home. I thought I was getting a pick-up truck, I got a box truck, which worked. Though way slower and way more gas. The truck had not been cleaned inside at all. I had to drive over an hour to pick it up. I had it reserved with my card, nothing was ready when I got there. Took awhile for him to enter and re-enter everything in, then they had one of those ancient printers that take a year to print....the ones with tear off sides.. Then I waited for guy to get it, hook up dolly, and inspect it.. the gas tank was not at all full...just enough for it to look like it could b close to full. I drove over hour back to car. It got me all the miles to home...got truck for 3 more days. I have to return it 40 mins away at noon. To get truck it was $123 Uber ride. Hopefully now I home I will find friend to get me.

HORRIBLE experience! I'd NEVER use them again! Didn't have truck that I needed, didn't get the quote from my reservation and was overcharged for gas they claimed I didn't put in the truck...it was past full! Don't even try to get assistance because they have a call center out in nowhere land!

Reserved a 26ft truck from this location 3 weeks in advance. They called on a Saturday, just TWO days before our move to tell me they would NOT have a truck. Really hard to get a big truck in 2 days. Very rude, no explanation or reason as to why. Called Budget corporate number to let them know about our experience with this location. We ended up having to drive 2 hours away, on the morning of our move, to pick up a truck that the local store could have already picked up. So 4 hours wasted. Would NOT recommend this location. However, Budget corporate customer service was very helpful.

Nice variety but charged for another whole day for being 15 minutes later! Very poor way to treat customers if you want repeat business!

Andrew is the new manger at this location and did a great job helping us thank you so much. If i need a truck in the future this is where I will come great location for us as well.

I don't write comments on minor dispute but these guys crossed the line, I think. I have a significantly long, brain spinning incidents : when I reserved one way truck from Lewisville, TX to Montgomery, AL. I reserved truck at about three weeks ahead, I like everything organized and done it on time. My pick up time 04/30/16 11.00AM. I could not reach there because my flight got cancelled due to weather in Dallas. I booked another flight and was gonna reach Dallas at 3.00PM but the truck rental store would close at 3.00PM so I could not pick it up from there. I requested if I could pick up from another store that opens till 4.00PM. Talked with customer service. Inventory manager called me with confirmation and provided me the new pick up location and Tel. I was so happy, and thanked him. I was still in Alabama by this time and I arranged a friend to drive me from Dallas airport to the pick up store. All was well till now. I called the store just to make sure I and Budget Truck rental are on the same page. Unfortunately, that store did not have a truck. The guy who even works for Budget Truck Rental in that location said, he was not aware of me picking up truck, and he just rented a truck to somebody else 5 minutes before I called. This store is about 45 minutes away from my address, I just was gonna go there (only for that day) because I needed it so bad since I had to get back to work. Then I called customer service (CS) to notify what Inventory Manager told me is not actually the reality on ground. Now, I was concerned about the trustworthiness of Budget. Even manager lies? I called original location to make sure I still have my reservation and the truck is available when they open store the following day. Low of low!! inventory manager had cancelled my reservation and that truck was already given to somebody else. I was shocked. After a while, received manager's call. My question to him was why did he cancel my reservation without telling me and why did he give me the false information about the truck at second location? He got pissed off. All he had to say was he is working hard to help me out. I could not believe when he actually hung up on me before answering my question. Before he hung up he told me, I had no choice but to go to second location (45 minutes away) and pick up the truck following morning. I had more questions for him but he hung up :: (1) How can I trust you if there will be a truck next morning when you have already lied to me? (2) I did not reserve three weeks ahead of time to drive 45 minutes just to get the truck. (3) Why did you cancel my reservation without even asking me? I called CS again after I landed in Dallas. I felt like I was talking with a school bully. Inventory manager was the worst of all on attitude. I really wanted to bring that into somebody's attention how I was treated. So, I asked for supervisor and CS put me on hold fore about 30 minutes and then I had to disconnect the call. I did not think they cared to talk to me resolve the issue. It did not seem they values a customers a bit. Never dealt with companies that bad. I waited for few hours to see just in case they will call me back with solution. I was wrong again. "Of course, it is Budget Truck Rental and what you expect?" my friend screamed on frustration. I called them back again. I had to end it I was going through the worst nightmare. Now, CS says it like if it was my fault. His Budget created story was I agreed to drive 45 minutes away the following day when I already have reservation in 2 miles distance. He did not even say "sorry". I was surprised. But, I had enough and I did not care if I had to pay more money to other truck rentals. Due to short time constraints Penske did not have any truck. Luckily, Uhaul still had one for me. Now, when I see Budget it takes me to the bad memory lane, whether it be Budget Rental Car or Budget Rental Truck.
