The plant based meat prices are more reasonable than any other shopping store. Most of the employers greet you with a smile and help you when you can't find an item.

The Gunter commissary is an on-base grocery store for military, retired military, and some DoD personnel. Really nice commissary. This one is in a newer building. Nicely lit, clean, well stocked and has a deli. Also has a self checkout. Plenty of parking.

Was surprised at how small the commissary seemed compared to the look of the building size. Product selection was lacking. Staff acted as though we were disturbing them to check us out. There were only 5 people shopping in the commissary & we obviously interrupted their personal conversations.
