Over a month ago, I scheduled a toner, cut, and wash. I was told I had to have a blow out and consultation as a first time client - okay, yes I get it. She said “I’m not going to schedule you a toner because Ty will add it after the consultation at your appointment.” I said “okay, but I want the toner done at that appointment so schedule it longer if you need to do both”. It’s not complicated. I’ve never been to a salon as a new client that can’t do this. I’ve talked to this salon 3x over the last month because I was on the cancellation list. Prior to my appointment, I find out I was never scheduled for a toner like I requested the 3 other occasions on the phone. Of course I canceled my appointment and read the negative reviews with similar problems. I’m sure the stylists are great, but the reception must be trained on transparency and clear communication.

Kaylie has been doing my hair for over a year! She goes over and beyond to make sure I get exactly what I ask for! She's the best hands down! She always makes you feel right at home when you get in her chair. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone!!

Kaylie is my hair stylist and is always so friendly, professional, and listens to what I want! She colors and cuts it to exactly what I envision!!! She's been doing my hair for over a year and does the best job! I will continue to go to her as long as I can!!!

Took my daughter in for a wash, cut, style. They quoted one price, around $60, and then the stylist told me it would be a little more to style it because she has long thick hair. I said that was ok. Went to pay and she told me it would be $125!!!! That is not little more! And the over all cut did not come out even because in spite of her claims she was clearly not experienced with thick hair. Not a great experience at all.

Called up to book my first appointment 2 months in advance and explained how excited I was and how important it was for me to get my hair done for family coming from another country to visit. They requested I come in to the salon for a consultation before they booked my appointment, I did. They booked me in and then one week before my appointment they called me to say the hair stylist quit and they couldn’t get me in with a different stylist until 3 weeks time. Which is when my family leave the country. I explained I really needed to have this done by the date I set the appointment for my family visit but I was willing to come in and see any stylist at any time and I would make sure I’d be there. They said don’t worry we will get this fixed for you, let me arrange an appointment for you and I’ll call you back. Never called me back. Terrible customer service and completely wasted my time going in for a consultation on a service they did not fulfill.

Doug’s 2 is the best place fir cuts, color and styling. I have never been disappointed. Ty Eiland is my number one go to. I can’t wait for my next visit!!

I had made an appointment a months in advance I get to my appointment all goes well, the stylist starts blow drying my hair and I see on one part the color is darker and then the others parts it’s way too light, she realizes the color difference and then get me back on the foils at this point she is rushing me, since she has another appointment waiting on her, she says that she has no time to blow dry and dry my hair, I pay the full price and walk out with wet hair not knowing if the color was correct, when I get home and blow dry my hair, only to find out dark and light highlights not an even color and it’s not even a balayage on top of that the hair cut was a mess, I have been coloring and cutting my hair back in Dubai for 6 years and I know what a balayage is all I got was highlights and a bad job at that, the owner was nice she called me and wanted me to come back to fix it, at this point I was sad and angry that my hair was mishandled, I had to go to a different salon to get it fixed, the stylist kept messaging me saying it’s a easy fix, if it was a easy fix why was it not done the second time ? Why was I rushed and sent out ? She saw the color was wrong…… what a horrible experience and each time I look at my hair I feel sad and angry and on top of that I have to pay another salon stylist to fixe her mistake. When requested for a refund I was told it’s a easy fix a different stylist can fix it, if it was easy why did you get it wrong the first time, dissatisfied and disappointed. The owner is a lovely lady she empathized with me and resolved it.Service: Balayage

I had an appointment and still ended up waiting, when an employee noticed me getting ready to jump up and just leave, they directed the shampoo girl who had just been sitting on her cellphone the whole time I was waiting to go ahead and shampoo me, shampoo girl stayed on her phone then proceeded to tell me (with curse words) about her life situation with losing her children, still waited another 30 minutes before just getting my haircut and leaving. Will not be back.
