Signed my grandson up for summer camp. I almost skipped over it because he is a boy. They have all kinds of activities for everyone. I know he is going to have a blast

Great program with outstanding coaches. My daughter has really progressed in her gymnastic skills. She's also made great friends along the way. I absolutely recommend United Gymstars if you're looking to enroll your child in a gymnastics program.

They are a good service, but when I put my daughter there, they almost broke her legs, they do this thing called the butterfly, I don't know what that is, but her legs didn't go all the way down, so they tried to push them down her leg, popped till she had to go to the hospital. I would not recommend going here.

I took tumbling classes at United Gymstars in high school back in the early 2000s. I had come from the armory where I had not had a great experience. I started my 3-year-old at the beginning of the year, and she absolutely loves it. I used to own an aerial studio, so I was very impressed in the rotations between equipment and how the kids stay engaged even when they don't have the instructor right beside them. From running group classes in a similar format, I know just how hard this is to achieve. This is a great program, and I really enjoyed the showcase that they put on! The family loved seeing what Sadie had learned.

My daughter has attended United for gymnastics for the past few months and she loves it. Her dad usually takes her so I have not had a chance to meet her teacher, but she loves that she has "brown" teacher. She is 9 years came home so excited that she had a teacher who "looked like her."

It is a great place to learn how to do gymnastics. And it has the best coaches I would definitely recommend to go here!!

We had an incredibly ugly experience here on Tuesday in which owner William had kids crying and then proceeded to openly mock them for it and their parents as they expressed concern. I have literally never witnessed such cruelty and unprofessionalism from a business owner. I 100% do not recommend this business and sincerely question the decision-making of its leadership in allowing this man to work with children. Unsafe.

If I could give this place a zero I would. Horrible experience with Coach William, who made my son not want to go back after being belittled the entire 45 minutes. Also made him do push ups for having his hands in his pockets and he is only 5 years old. No thank you. I'll entrust experts with my child.

With the recent reviews circulating, I felt compelled to share my experience as well. My daughter joined the gym for rec classes and soon made team. It was the only gym in town open during COVID. I observed a LOT of staff over turn in a few short months, which was my first red flag.My daughters main coach (the final one after a lot of changing around) I did actually like. However, as a former competitive gymnast myself, I began seeing things I did not like while sitting in during practices. I’ve been to many gyms and this had alarming behavior I was learning about slowly. I observed who I came to learn as the owner, screaming, yelling and belittling her team girls regularly. Talking down and down right degrading with tone, attitude and choice of words. I began to notice another coach act the same way. I learned they she was best friends with the owner.Parents have videos of these coaches screaming at kids to the point of tears. I was embarrassed to recommend the gym to friends and fellow military spouses looking for a gym. When I learned my daughter would be working directly with one of these coaches, and I watched one practice, I immediately pulled my daughter. The amount of negativity, yelling and talking down to the athletes was jaw dropping. My daughter was 7 and loves the sport! In no way was I going to allow her to be exposed to such toxic behavior. When we switched gyms, MANY others from the gym did as well. There are ways to coach and be stern and firm, without screaming and yelling and constantly making the kids feel bad about themselves! I was SO happy we are able to find another another local gym who produced successful athletes with 0 yelling/screaming.I believe that this gym needs to open their eyes and see how much turn over they have with athletes and staff. The root of the problem stems from the negative and toxic demeanors from the owners setting the example. This is not the way to treat CHILDREN. I am glad others agree and are not afraid to speak up and walk away from this gym.

We will not be attending any classes, parties, or events here until the current owner, William, is replaced with someone that knows how to treat children (and parents for that matter). There’s enough bullying that goes on in schools by other children. We certainly don’t need adults on a power trip bullying kids at what should be a fun extracurricular activity.

My 6 yr old son was in the ninja class until today, the owner of united gym stars took over for the coach who all the kids loved. Myself and 2 other parents watched as he punished kids for stimming. Jumping in place or putting their hands in their pockets would get them 2 push-ups. Finally, after the 5th time punishing the same child, and bringing him to tears, the mother pulled her kid from the class, the owner told the mother, “if you leave, dont come back!” When the mother tried to talk to him, he escalated the situation. I was appalled at the way he talked to and treated those 5 and 6 year old kids for 45 straight minutes. This owner is not qualified to be around kids of that age, be warned; do not leave your kids unsupervised with Coach William. He is not a good person.

Very unprofessional establishment. The owner “William” sounds like he needs some people skills. It’s a shame the way he treated those children.

Coach William needs to sell his gym or hire new management. Your behavior towards the kids on Tuesday 09/13 class were unacceptable. Shame on you.
