I love DG...but yall need to get it together here. The manager yesterday said if I had my receipt that I could exchange my product even tho i purchased it at a different DG ... I brought my receipt today and my product only to be told that, no you have to exchange it at the dg you purchased it at... geez

Went in today and grabbed my items. There was a bin of products that didn’t have pricing. The manager was asked to grab the price and he said, “if she wants it she will have to go back and find one with the price or we aren’t selling it. We’ll get off your lazy butt and do your job! Walking around the store acting like a lazy butt is bad business. The guy needs to be replaced or retrained. Horrible customer service. He clearly doesn’t care about his job or being professional!

Working employees are kind and helpful as a rule except for when requesting an even product 'exchange' with their brand/any brand products w/o reciept they refuse you this service ? (note: they grab and toss away your Register reciept not giving you)!-then harrass you for not having said reciept for an exchange/ even exchange when requesting.. Normaly in and out shopping as rule. Many times their 'card reader' is not working. Means cash only. Hate when both these things take place as when living un rural área they still arent exactly close then add price of fuel to get back and forth.

Store is usually really cramped and somewhat scattered but it's probably due to the terrible design of the check out area and the extremely narrow aisles... The employees are great!!

I'm not going to do a review on dollar general. It's a Dollar general, it's messy, it's cluttered but it's the only thing in town so there you have it. The staff at ours is very nice though.
