I can't say enough good things about A&Z automotive. I called them when my strut broke. I had tried a few other places but they all had waiting lists. V said he could get me in the next day. He even solved another ongoing issue I had from a previous repair gone wrong. They replaced both struts, a few front end repairs, replaced the power steering hose and I haven't had to bring it back for anything. Highly recommend A&Z!!!

If you are like me and are from out of town and find yourself in need of a reliable & honest mechanic but you don't know where to go - look no further.I called this shop needing help asap as I had a long road trip coming up that same weekend. I had made the mistake of first taking my vehicle to a franchise style auto shop for a tire change that ended with them giving me a laundry list of other parts they said needed to be fixed prior to my trip. This didn't settle well with me as I had not asked them to inspect my vehicle (only to change the tire) and my vehicle wasn't giving indications that these things were wrong.That's how I ended up at A & Z. This shop was not only able to get me in right away to assess these supposed bad parts, but I felt they gave me an honest and reliable assessment of what actually needed to be done to my vehicle at a fair price. Thanks to them, I'm feeling much more at ease for my upcoming trip. If I'm ever in the area again and in need of a mechanic, I'll be back here for sure.

Customer service exceeded my expectations. We bought a car that needed work, and they were able to get it in and get to fixing it. Very responsive and knowledgeable service. I had never gone to any mechanic before, so I was nervous. A-Z brought back the excitement of purchasing a car, even if it was used. I will recommend them to everyone and everyone!

I cannot say enough good things about A & Z auto repair. After calling to schedule an appointment for a brake repair I was offered to have my car checked same day, and was fixed the next business day. I have never had a good automobile experience up until now and always felt I was being treated as if I didn’t know anything until going to A & Z auto. Everything from the customer service , price, and efficiency was excellent. I would highly recommend this business.Service: Brakes

Been delivering parts to V and his guys for almost 2 years now. He's always fair with the price and quick/accurate with the work. Biggest benefit is he's always willing and able to fit a work truck in for a quick repair, even if it's asked for at the last minute.

Worst auto repair place in Anchorage. Refused to give me back the parts they removed from the electrical system of my car even though I told them in advance I wanted these. Said they cleaned heating core but heater still not working properly. Also replaced a part for the idle. Rude staff. Do not go there, especially if you are a woman.

This shop is great.I have been doing business with them for 5 years and I have nothing but good things to say about them most of all they are honest, get the job done in a timely manner, and remember me and my car whenever I come in.
