This review is more focused on job placement of higher positions. I would like for ANTHC to publish the demographics for this as they are a non-profit. Leadership is detectably more acculturated.

Used their emergency services three times. The first was NOvember 2020, and I spent a night getting stabilized. From that stabilization, my regular physician managed to piece together a therapy, even though problems with a seriously deviated septum kept the symptoms going..The second use was when my throat was so sore I could not swallow after the therapy of the first visit. They found a quick fix for that. The third visit was serotonin syndrome (masquerading as a panic attack), also resulting from the deviated septum. I was in such shape that there was no way they could perform tests for what they thought might be wrong. I signed out, but the tests they wanted to do would have saved my life if I had a more serious condition. Finally, in late February, 2021 I got surgery for the deviated septum and the companion symptoms subsided. My peripheral serotonin also normalized at a much lower level. The folk there were quick to act, and were able to insert needles for blood tests and IVs, despite the fact that my veins roll away from needles. I remember apologizing to one medical professional who brought in an ultrasound rig to find a vein. I apologized to her and she chuckled, pointing out that my veins represented job security to her.

My daughter has been recently diagnosed with a chronic condition which unfortunately is going to require multiple scheduled and emergent visits to this facility. Currently we are here as a result of a second medevac for blood transfusions, more studies and adjustments to medications that now include an immunosuppressive medication, and treatment options. I am now afraid not only for my family but for ALL families, individuals, and patients in this facility. We have had miscommunication issues the most disturbing ending with my daughter sitting outside the front entrance of ANMC waiting for a piece of paper after being told by our nurse case manager and a person who sits at the front desk of patient housing that we could pick up when it was ready. This same incident happened also a week prior and was handled in what i consider an appropriate fashion. The fact that one person was not informed or advised of the agreement made through myself our care team rep and the person at the front desk that i spoke with resulted in security being informed of a disgruntled angry woman raising her voice belligerent and i would imagine crazy and for that i do apologize. YES THAT WAS ME I NEED TO BE HEARD I NEED TO KNOW THAT WHAT I AM SAYING IS CLEARLY UNDERSTOOD BY WHOMEVER IM SPEAKING WITH AS TO PREVENT AND AVOID COMMUNICATION ISSUES. I do apologize if that disturbed anyone but we were OUTSIDE and traffic, wind and others in the area made it hard for the person i was speaking to at the time to understand what i was saying. I will not apologize for acting in the best interest of my child or for demanding appropriate and consistent care from a facility whose mission statement and vision statement maintain this as their core value. I said this here and to contacts within the compliance department that i am guilty myself for not holding the proper individuals responsible in regards to the lack of care, treatment, and assistance. If it was just me here i would have just walked away walked out and not even bothered to follow up. TODAY I am here not only for my child but for everyone patients and families who cannot or will not speak up themselves.I have taught my children that our voices will never be heard, our feelings and wishes never acknowledged, and important matters will never be addressed if we dont say something about it. SO I AM SAYING THIS TODAY because teaching others about having integrity and self respect as a parent demanding consistency and quality from others in this a medical facility should never escalate to this. I apologized to my child because i felt like i failed her for having to subject her to this treatment to hauling her around this entire campus looking for paperwork and for how people were treating us every where we go. If i was able to put a negative 5 stars her i would but since thats not an option i am forced to go against my values and lie with one star when none are deserved. If this is the highest quality health services provided i am horrified.

Outdated and frustrating HR processes and practices. Having to come in to visit HR to grab a document that could have been easily sent via encrypted email should be addressed.

Very helpful and courteous. They explained things as we went and what was next. I traveled over 5,100 miles to come back to this facility.

The people are kind and respectful to everyone. Still have to use a mask like every place else around the world. Protection.
