I usually love the sandwiches but today I ordered a sandwich from the commissary and it had one slice of meat on it. Across the whole sandwich there were three pieces spread out which seems like a rip off to me.

Must have base access to shop at the commissary. Generally speaking I enjoy shopping at the commissary and find the prices better than out in town prices. Selection and availability is my only complaint. They are often out of items that I want and have to purchase out in town anyway.

EDIT: While there seems to be an explosion of price gouging, there definitely seems to be an adjustment in prices recently to reflect those from stores off base at a lower price. While Costco still provides more benefits, I can go in without feel like I'm just being taken advantage of.-----With all the inflation, the commissary seems to have failed the service members who shop there with some prices that have grown faster than others. For me, Costco is the only place I trust for getting the best prices that aren't as inflated. I just hope they haven't joined in on the price gouging game.In these times, maybe the commissary should stop making people hunt for deals and just automatically give the coupon/discount price.

The Commissary has good prices despite the Biden inflation crisis. Everyone is so nice and helpful here which is why my wife and me love to shop here. P.S. Be kind and tip your baggers if you want to be cheap go to self checkout.

Anyone complaining about this commissary needs to grow up and live in the real world. It is one of the finest facilities I've seen in my decades (since 1974) of being a commissary patron. So what if stay at home mothers bring their kids. Selection is out of this world compared to any commissary world wide. If you don't like it, I hope you get Minot ND for your next assignment.

Thoroughly un-enjoyed the poor customer service. Thank god I won’t have to ever come back here specifically.

I love that they’re cheaper than most stores & most of the time it’s clean. Customer service is always great. But, the produce here are AWFUL. Most of the time they’re moldy or go bad quickly. Also, since COVID hit…they’re always out of some or most items resulting in me making extra trips off base to other stores.

Prices are fairly good on some items but the produce is just awful and rotted. Meat workers in the back are very friendly and helpful. I am just giving stars towards the cheaper prices and friendly workers who helped me find the meat I needed. 3 stars were lost because I constantly have issues with the Filipino workers on register 1. Each time that I come by they are very rude. I have a SNAPS card to purchase food for me and my family and the workers on register 1 were embarrassing me saying it’s food stamps and not a debit card- which is unbelievably rude and offensive considering my financial situations. The lady said i had a “food stamps card” out loud for many people to hear and I think that’s very inconsiderate and unprofessional of her to do that to customers trying to feed their children. The 2nd time was when the bagger lady was being passive aggressive when I didn’t want my groceries pushed out to my car when they didn’t even ask me in the first place. It made me have a bad day because she talked to me like a d*** child. I understand their job may be stressful but don’t talk to your customers this way. Manager needs to either get rid of these employees or better train them because they are very rude people. The ladies on register 1 need to take notes from the meat packers in the back because this is ridiculous customer service.

Nice large commissary with great produce, fresh seafood, cold cut deli, and meats. The selection of things like whole brisket and pork bellies is better than most stores in the lower 48.

Went there today around 11:30. Was first in line to checkout. Only two registers open. Plenty of employees and baggers standing around talking to each other. We were standing there in line for about three minutes. Again, plenty of employees to open a register but no, a lady comes up to the line and says go to register 14. I could have figured that out for my self. I’m not an idiot. Instead of opening a register, you tell me what line to get into. So disappointed. SMH!

so plan and simple my wife goes in to get groceries we are on food stamps right now because of covid and she bought 340 dollars of food including pork ribs beef hot dogs etc etc she also picked up a couple of steaks but apparently if you're on food stamps this place will not sell you steaks they look down on people who have food stamps the guy who run out my wife also call on management and they did nothing so the US air Force and army are against letting poor people buy steak in America at their commissaries
