They were quick to get me in when my vehicle was having issues. They took the time to test and evaluate the issue before jumping into replacing expensive parts. I appreciate how they took the time to help me understand what was going on. I’m happy I found an honest and thorough mechanic to take care of my vehicles going forward. I highly recommend them!

My wife and I have brought our two Toyotas cars a couple times so far and they're always polite and communicative, despite always being very busy. I've left messages with them a few times and they always call back. Satisfied with the service and quality of work, we will continue to bring our vehicles in for routine and specialty maintenence.

Have used Sand Lake Automotive off for years and exclusively for all my repairs these last few years because Tim, the owner, is an expert on your car’s needs. He’s a straight shooter and does not pile on unnecessary repairs. Plus he’s so knowledgeable and caring. I wouldn’t go anywhere else even for an oil change.

Easy to make an appointment, they got my brakes done on time. They even talk to me out of doing something else that I wanted to. Another company said I needed to change my differential fluid, but I didn't have time that day. These guys told me my differential fluid was fine and they saved me over $100.

Best shop in Anchorage! Great communication about work that needs to be done. They don't pressure you they just give you the facts and let you make the decision on what you want done. Honest and fair pricing. I will continue taking my 2004 Honda CRV here!

I brought in my 2008 Ford E350 van with an electrical issue. Although Tim and crew were a month out, they took the time to search out the issue, which I would've never found. I really appreciated Tim's diligence in sourcing out the ground issue, especially being that the wiring diagram showed the wire to be connected somewhere completely different. I appreciate Sand Lake Autos integrity. They accidentally over charged me by $100. I wouldn't have known the difference. They called me a couple days after picking up my car to say they made a mistake on the billing and would be refunding me. Thank you for your good work and honesty.
