Visited Sara's as I had heard it was a nice store. I particularly liked that it supports local artists. The special Jon Van Zyle painting on a cut out mushing dog was a plus. Sara's supports the mushers who start the Fur Rondy and Iditarod downtown. Large, too large in fact, selection of bagallini bags. All in all, I'd visit again off season to find gifts for Outside family.

Lovely local gift shop with a wide assortment of products many made in Alaska. They had quite a bit of yummy food products such as spices and bake mixes.

This store has the most amazingly awesome jewelry made by local artists. There's artwork, purses, travel bags, neat knick knacks, clothing and a good variety of tea, coffee,bread, and hot chocolate and ingredients to make cheesecakes or fruit and veggie dips there's all kinds of goodies if you've got visitors from the lower 48 I do recommend taking them here its such a cool store that really is all Alaskan!

The gifts in the store are very cute, but the woman who owns the store is miserable/angry. In the short time I was in her store, I heard her snap at and verbally berate her elderly employee :(. It was the saddest thing ever! I could feel the negative energy SOOOO hard with legitimately every interaction I had with the owner, all in like a 5 min period. Wild. I would never, ever give her my money again, no matter how cute the gifts are!
