Very disappointed with BMO. Signed up for a Primary Chequing Account with Premium Plan and Savings Amplifier Account. Was told in writing in email to drop into a BMO branch with my family to activate their no-fee daily banking.When I got there today they were not able to serve me and said I had to make an appointment; and they had no information on my family that I had provided in detail on my application.The teller told me that BMO had called me earlier to make an appointment.Why would you call me after you told me in writing to drop into a branch. Tell me in the email that you are going to call me. If I had known I had to make an appointment I would’ve said no because that’s an inconvenience for me, It’s convenient for me to just drop into the branch when I have time.Based on the email I received I thought I was setting up a bank account for my family and coming in to pick up my cards. You made this process very difficult and frustrating.Unsure if this is a branch issue or a head office issue.Not impressed at all.

I came in with an issue 10 minutes before closing and was greeted and served with the best customer service and patience I've recieved to date. I don't know any other ladies who'd stay on the clock after closing to help with my tedious issues. Thanks BMO Carstairs!
