Worst experience with auto glass replacement! Window received broken, notified upon arrival, after new glass arrival Mobile service was not an option I would have had to call the location in service area - that location would have to reorder the glass, next appointment was almost a week away- then arrived for appointment at 11am, upon my return at 12pm, vehicle was just going in for repair. Not sure if all locations are like this but this was my experience.

This was by far the best service I have received from a glass repair shop. So knowledgeable with the process and kept me informed the entire time.

I stopped in to see if the windshield was repairable. They determined it was; I had two stars in the windshield. They quickly got the authorization and the job was done within the hour. All members of the staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. I highly recommend this Safelite facility without reservation. They are the A team!Services: Windscreen repair

I've gone in twice now to replace my windshield. The first time they called back and let us know that they needed to order new clips for the windshield and that they would call us back when they had got them. They never called back, we waited a week for their call and nothing. I called them instead and scheduled for today at 10am. Brought the car in, right at 10 and was told the windshield would be done in an hour to an hour and a half. I was told that they would call when it was done. At around two hours, since they still hadn't called, I called them instead. They picked up to tell me that they bought the wrong clips and once again, my windshield has not been replaced. It took two hours and I had to call to find out that they didn't even replace the windshield at all. That message should have been relayed as soon as they found out they had the wrong hardware. I shouldn't have to call to get that information two hours later. I could have picked my car up and gotten the service done elsewhere in the time it would take for them to actually call me back.

What a SCAM! Got a quote for a 2015 Hyundai windshield replacement which started at $354, then went to $430, and is now currently $862!!! Another local shop quoted me $226. I have found NO WAY to cancel online or via phone. When you call, the automated system tells you all scheduling is done online and hangs up on you. Do yourself a favor and call around before trusting Safelite.

We had a mobile appointment and the technician did an excellent job of fixing our chip. You can hardly see where the rock chipped the windshield.

I thought I would give Safelite another chance after a few years ago when I called to have a windshield replaced and they neglected to call me back for three or four days. Well I should've thought better. On June 20 I made an appointment online for the Chandler location, completed all the paperwork, and was set to have a windshield replaced and calibrated on our Mercedes-Benz. I received several emails reminding me of my appointment indicating that I needed to bring the car in between 730 and nine, that the car would be there all day, and I should pick it up at 5:30. We brought the car in at 8 o'clock in the morning and left it there. About 2 o'clock in the aft afternoon, I received a call from them and they told me that the windshield that was needed for my Mercedes was not ordered correctly. I asked them how that could happen and they blamed it on the insurance company giving them the wrong information. Which I know is not correct, by the way, as I was the one who completed all relevant information online with them. So essentially they had the car the whole day and waited until 2 o'clock to tell me that the windshield could not be replaced. So I told the Arizona Avenue location I would come down and get the car. In the meantime, I went online and tried to chat with Safelite to get them to switch the order to another location. I was told by the person in the chat room that they could not do that do that and that I would have to go online and complete another intake form. I told them to forget it. Contrary to what the Safelite commercials portray on TV, they are absolutely nothing like that. Total incompetence. I would never use them again.

It took 8 appointments and multiple calls on my behalf to figure out that either parts were not ordered and should of been. They replaced the glass 3 times due to either scratches on the "new" replacement glass which was really obvious or glass that was not compatible. They also broke the camera for accident prevention, and had to take it in for that also. They were very unprofessional and would not recommend anyone to go there. If i hear someone thinking about going there, I will share my story. If they had a rating of less than one star i would rank it as such. Cameron, the placeholder for management should be replaced immediately. This would solve most of the issues this place. I went to a different safe flight and had a wonderful experience on the last visit. They fixed it permanently and no issues.

I've driven here 3 times 40 minutes each way because the first time they don't tell you it's going to take 3 hours. The second time I dropped my truck off to find to come back the next day to find out they didn't do anything because if you Have aftermarket tires and rims they can't do it which they should probably ask if you're dropping off a truck

Please know you don't have to use the recommended repair shop by your insurance company. It's AZ law. Don'tbe scared off when your insurance tells you all the bad things that can happen if you don’t use their shop. Read reviews. Most shops guarantee their work. One review says this one does not. Call other shops. They will help with your claim. There is mobile calibration. A shop in Chandler has it. The shop has 270 reviews with 5 stars average on Google. As for this shop, I was sitting in the lobby for 30 minutes waiting. 3 customers came in to complain their windshield was installed incorrectly. Same complaints listed on the other reviews a missing clip, a camera falling off and one who had her windshield repaired by the mobile service and it was noisy. As well as an over heard phone call where the receptionist was apologizing for damage to a car saying corporate would contact them for reimbursement. So when the tech came to tell me they ordered the wrong windshield after having a week and a half to order the correct one, I decided they cannot be competent. The poor tech kept trying to get the office people to help and they wouldn't even look at him. If the employees including the manager, don't even respect each other, do you think they are going to respect you or your car? I took it as a sign. I'd rather choose my own shop. I don't have the time to have repairs corrected or worse yet repair damage to my car.Service: Windscreen replacement

I've used Safelite for multiple repairs on multiple cars and it's always been a good experience. Never an issue, never a complaint. Friendly staff, quality repairs, never had a repair Crack over time.

Infuriating experience at this location today. We made an appointment for a windshield install. Got several text confirmations. Dropped the car off and took an Uber home because they said it would be a couple of hours and they didn’t want us waiting. We come back three hours later and the broken windshield is still in the car. Apparently the glass was not delivered on time and the incompetent woman with a bad attitude who checked us in didn’t check on it before she had us drop the car. She then didn’t bother to call us that the car wouldn’t be fixed today. Needless to say… I’ll never go back.

Horrible experience. Lack of communication. No effort was made to assist me. Poor customer service. Job not completed. I had an appointment for a very simple drop-off windshield replacement, so I brought my car in right as the shop opened. After waiting 5 hours and not receiving a call, I tried reaching out and was directed to the regional customer service office, who was also not able to get into contact with the shop. After waiting three additional hours and not receiving a call, I tried calling again and experienced the same problem. I eventually had to physically come into the shop 30 minutes before it closed, where I learned that my car had not been fixed. Apparently, the technician had tried working on my car and had problems, and the technician claimed that he tried reaching out to me. I have no records of any incoming calls from the shop on my phone, despite my numerous attempts to come into contact with them from my end. (I understand that cell phone reception and connection issues happen, but my phone has never had that issue in my location). The customer service employee then proceeded to tell me that the technician could not replace my windshield because he would have to break the moulding on my car in order to access the windshield. (I can neither confirm nor deny that this was a correct assessment, however, I am skeptical of this because breaking the molding is not normal). Ultimately, the shop said that if I were to get my windshield replaced, I would have to find and obtain new mounding on my own first. It is absolutely concerning and absurd to me that a shop that is supposed to specialize in windshield repair would not be prepared or knowledgeable in regard to windshield molding. It is also concerning that the shop does not prioritize communication, especially when there are issues like this that arise. A customer should not have to structure their entire day around a 30 minute windshield replacement just to learn (on their own) that the job was not done and that they essentially have to figure it out on their own. Not a good experience, to say the least.
