I'm so sad. I purchased two vans from this location a little while back and I had such an exceptional experience. Recently I tried to purchase another vehicle. I showed up at 4 PM, I didn't realize they closed at 4 but the sales person was still there and they locked the door and shut the lights off. Right in front of me, that's not good business practice. They could've at least taken my information and then just talk to me for a minute but totally cold shoulder me. So I called the number and of course the phone went to voicemail so I left a message and no one bothered to get back to me. I guess they don't need business so congratulations. Why do you even bother having a location if you don't need customers.

Installed a trailer mount and electrical and did an appointment online but the pricing came in cheaper when I got there and service was really helpful.

Rented a 5x8 covered trialed for Christmas break — easy pickup process, easy return process. This location is open on Sunday’s which is awesome. Great experience in this instance.

Its a uhaul they just staff one person so its takes half a day to get a trailer. Go else where.

I came in for a few items... the staff member definitely didn’t seem to like his job. The boxes purchased were very flimsy for the prices (compared elsewhere).

This my first and last time dealing with this poor company! Never again!! I did make reservation online a month ago for 26' trailer, packed up and was ready to move, but got a call a day before with very rude women on the phone saying that they don't have available trailers in my area and asked me to pick it up from different town which is 4 hours away from me. This is ridiculous, I expected my order to be ready, but it was a big lie! SCAMS! DON'T ORDER FROM U-HAUL! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE!

We had a reservation for a month, and they didn't have our trailer and just started helping the next person in line. We waited 30 minutes just to have OUR turn in line, we had a reservation and we supposedly had a trailer, but this UHAUL just gave us the finger and told us we were out of luck and laughed at us. DON'T USE THIS UHAUL!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!

Terrible Customer Service. There was no "hello" or any proper greeting. I asked do you need my reservation number? Someone needed to start the conversation as the employee Manny stared at me. I received the truck and was heading to Peoria with a tight time frame to get me there and back in time for work. 5 minutes into the drive and the AC goes out! I flip all the buttons and nothing! I'm already on the freeway and don't have time to turnaround due to my time constraint. It is 105 degrees outside and an excessive heat warning with no AC. I drove back to Chandler to drop the truck off and informed the General Manager how sick I felt from being in the truck with no AC. His response was "did you finish your move?". Not once did he apologize or offer anything. I informed him I didn't have a choice and I thought AC would be guaranteed or they should have said something. If this was an elderly person or someone with a medical condition- that could be a liability if something happened. He said "I can take a couple bucks off". WOW! What should have happened is an apology of I am so sorry that happened, let us make it right! I informed him I would reach out to Corporate and he said they aren't going to do anything but send you back to me. So I'll give you $30 off. In my opinion, still not enough to justify the amount I just spent for the truck on a 2 hour drive feeling sick to my stomach. Poor customer service! How does someone get a position of General Manager with no personality, hospitality or customer service? I am highly disappointed in my experience at this location as the Gilbert location has never been this bad.

Called them because the call center had given them wrong info at least what I was told and got the worst attitude from the rep here. The guy who did the installation and their manager was good so I gave 2 stars for that but uhaul in general needs more competent and respectful people to work for them. Seem that they hire anyone and everyone without giving them any training. Horrible

We needed to pick up a car. I reserved the transport but upon pick up I was told it had to be returned early the next day which was not part of my reservation. The employee who was working this day was beyond rude, disrespectful and to be frank, really needs some retraining in customer service. I was offered no other solutions and walked out. Thanks to Yelp I found another U-Haul location in Gilbert that was amazing, helpful and I recommend staying far away from this location, go to the Gilbert location and be treated well. Ps, Gilbert helped with without a reservation!!!

We have rented a trailer several times from this location. 3 times in the last 2 weeks. The service has gotten worse each time. I had a reservation, which I always do. A girl was checking me in and tried to tell me the price was higher then my reservation. I told her it's never been that way before. She argued with me and said because I didn't check in online it was more at the facility. I said fine, I'll go out and check in in my truck. She said go ahead. While I was in the truck she came out and said she found out what she did wrong and she could fix it. So I had to go back in and start over again. The next time I went in and had checked in online and they said it's not worth doing that cause they still have to do it over when you come in. The 3rd time we pulled around back as we always do to get our trailer and the guy working outside started yelling at my husband that he can't park back there. No one has ever told us that and there are no signs stating that anywhere. When we returned the vehicle we pulled in where it says to drop off the trailer the same guy was there. 2 other vehicles came in behind us. Whipped around us and proceeded to go ahead of us cause he told them too. We were there first. He proceeded to wait on them instead of unhooking us first. My husband was very angry. Wgen he finally came to us there was no apology. We are in the process of moving a whole house. We were planning on getting a large truck for the final load and still rent trailers between now and November. We've been a customer at this uhaul for many years. But we've decided to go somewhere else. They've gotten to busy and don't have enough help to take care of the customers. And they have a don't care attitude
