Well I guess a effort was made to get my Husband's prescription straightened out ,in the first place it shouldn't have happened ,because they are short staffed and sometimes they can't get their act together .Four Stars because they really put an effort trying to get it right

If there was a 0 stars that is whatI’d give this Walgreens. Don’t use their pharmacy. I have been a loyal Walgreens customer for 50 years but Cottonwood Walgreens is the very worst. If you want to use them I hope you set aside a day just to pick up your prescriptions. I made an appointment 3 weeks ago for a covid booster for 12:30 today. I get there and I’m not on the list. Now there is no future dates I can even sign up for.

Apparently Walgreens higher ups don't know how to treat their employees so most of the pharmacy staff went to work at CVS. At CVS they are actually friendly and can actually fill your prescription. Waited 5 days for Walgreens then gave up and called CVS, they special ordered my prescription cuz they didn't have it in stock and had it in two days. I will not be using Walgreens pharmacy anymore.

If this could be less than one star it would be. I am seriously sick and tired of this pharmacy. They don’t give out correct information they don’t give you all the information you’re supposed to have. Now I have to wait until middle of next week to get the information I need. This is the most pathetic place and unfortunately the only place I can go. I’m so over terrible customer service. Walgreens you were my favorite place to go but now you’ve just lost a customer for life. CVS here I come maybe.

Try Try Try but their pharmacy cannot keep up with consumer's demands. I get a text that my prescription is ready for pickup so I go in, stand in a very long irritated line & finally get to the counter to be told IT'S NOT READY! WTH! Give it up, Cottonwood Pharmacy! Customers are fed up! You've disappointed & irritated for the last time!

Just transfer your prescriptions to literally anywhere else and it will be a better experience than this place. They are going to run themselves out of business with the level of inadequacy they display on the daily.

This location is the only one in Cottonwood. You would think, being one of the employers in a small town, they would treat their employees well. However, for months on end, they have been consistently short staffed. The drive thru should never take more than 5 minutes per car, even given people who have large prescription orders and payment issues. However, this place you can routinely expect to wait 30-45 minutes with only two or three people in front of you. They've had their hiring sign up for almost a full two years, but they never have enough staff.Maybe if they treated pharmacy technicians decently AND paid them more than McDonald's employees, they would be able to get and keep workers for more than a month or two!Seriously, their average pay for a pharmacy tech is $13/hr. And they handle people's medications and deal with insurances! They should be getting paid MINIMUM $25/hr.Maybe if they did that, then people could get their stuff easily and without stress!

UPDATE: Be warned, if you try to transfer RXs to another pharmacy they might conveniently lose your records like they did mine. I got some of my prescriptions transferred but now my Dr has to re-write the other scripts! Weeks to get things in with these delays. This has been my worst experience with any pharmacy ever.The pharmacy never manages to fill my monthly prescriptions on time. I find myself always missing 2-5 of my pills during the first of the month because they cannot keep on a schedule. I am always calling and checking on the status of autofill orders. My insurance will only fill one month at a time so it is so frustrating. I am looking at another pharmacy.

My wife has been waiting 3 days for her RX, went in today and was told they may be able to have them ready in 48 to 72 hrs. SERIOUSLY!!!!!! Walgreens has gone to ship. We are changing to CVS.

I'm done with this Walgreens! Drive thru is ridiculously slow. The poor clerk has to work the inside counter and the drive thru. This takes forever and there are usually at least 5 cars in line ahead of you. You can't reach anyone in the phone....ever. One day they just closed the entire pharmacy. I learned from another pharmacy in town that it was due to the pharmacist being on vacation and they had no backup. They are unable to open the pharmacy if there isn't a pharmacist present. Poor management to say the least.Waited 40 minutes recently inside to get a pre scheduled booster shot.Did make a complaint with the head quarters folks before switching to Fry's.Never again!

What a horrible pharmacy. Had a standard flu shot appt and had to wait over 45 minutes past the appt because the older lady couldn't figure out the insurance (even tho I've been there multiple times).The employees are slow, uncaring and worst of all you can't understand the pharmacist because she mutters and speaks so fast. It's as if they all hate their jobs.I'm done wasting my time here. Moving over to Safeway.

I have dealt with Walgreens for years both in Michigan and here. This is without a doubt the worst prescription service I have experienced. This past Monday I received a renewal message for a script, I replied to have it refilled.Tuesday the same message. This time they said it would be filled by Friday. Friday morning I received another message saying it would be ready for pickup on Sunday. That’s 6 days of being without my med. Thank heavens it wasn’t a life or death script. No matter what it should not take 6 days to get prescription filled. This is not the first time I’ve had problems with this Walgreens. Looking at getting mail order prescriptions through my insurance company. This is the first negative review I have given ANY company. This Walgreens needs to get its act together. I could not in any way recommend their prescription service.

This pharmacy just keeps getting worse and worse. You shouldn't need to be on hold for 35 minutes to get a question answered. It should not take 40 minutes to pick up a script.

I have been a customer at Walgreens for nearly a year after having moved into the area. This place has the worst customer service of any pharmacy I have ever been associated with. Most recently I contacted my doctor to change my pain medication after a new replacement. Need replacement. 24 hours after the script was called in it was still under pharmacist review. When I waited on hold for 37 minutes to talk to somebody in the pharmacy they inform me they couldn't fill my prescription until at least Sunday. The doctor reissued medication because the original painkiller gave me nausea. A whistle Original medication caused me nausea. When queried about the problem, the representative told me the doctor should have told them it was a replacement prescription. Now the DOCS office is closed for the weekend and I am out of luck. They have lost my business...and I would STRONGLY recommend no one else use their pharmacy. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!
