This is the best pharmacy in the Gilbert area. Brent is so helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The store is almost always clean and well stocked most of the staff are very very nice. Love this fry’s.

Yup, the floral lady is now named Barney Fife at this store. There’s a new sherif in town. No extra carts past the gates and nothing in hand. Will be considering alternative stores that don’t treat their customers like cattle

Got yelled at by the floral lady for going to get a shopping cart through the gate. It was like I was stealing but had nothing in my hands. I will be shopping some where else for now on.

I went to this Fry’s, at 6470 S. Higley in Gilbert, yes on Thanksgiving day. It was around 1 o’clock and pretty slow there. I got sliced turkey from the deli department, and that was comical. The man (not teenager) behind the counter didn’t know how to answer my question if the turkey was precooked. He said it was not cooked, but that it was like buying sandwich meat. “So it’s cooked?” “No.” “It’s raw?” “No. It’s like buying bologna.” Okay. Moving on.My real disappointment was checking out. The young cashier, Katielyn, rang me up. My order was moderate, other than the 12 packs of soda, it fit into four bags. But Katielyn simply turned off her light and walked away after handing me the receipt. She left all my groceries at the end of the conveyor belt. Just sitting there. She didn’t have an assistant, but she also didn’t have any other customer in line behind me. So, she walked away.I, while standing there bagging my groceries, asked someone who looked to be in management. His response was that they were ‘short handed today, people called in sick’. Another man (possibly a manager) came to ask what was going on, also said they were short handed. Did either of them notice there was no one else in line?? In fact there were not even any long lines at all. I’m pretty sure, even when “shorthanded”, company policy still wouldn’t have the customer bagging their own groceries. The first manager(?) at least grabbed my chips and bagged them. ? Um, thanks?

Customer service is horrible. Made an online pick up order and it was a late pick up. Went to pick up and order was canceled. No one could answer why my order was canceled. This is not the first time I’ve made a late pick up order and it mysteriously gets canceled.

I have been living in Gilbert almost 10 years, this has always been the Fry’s that I have shopped at. Today I go into Fry’s to get groceries for the week, I am in the store shopping for an hour. I get to the checkout and the cashier says to me “Are you doing insta carts?” I answered “no, why did you ask me if I was doing insta carts?” Did you ask the lady in front of me? She answered, “no”. I asked her are you going to ask, the people behind me? She did not answer. I asked for a manager. The manager tried to tell me that he was the highest in management, and that he did not have corporate number. I explained to him that I worked for Fry’s when I was in high school. I know there is a number for corporate. A lot more was said, by the ASL Rene. I explained to him the reason I am frustrated is because this is the second time I have been asked if I am doing insta carts within a week and a half, two different Fry’s. Both in Gilbert (Pecos and Higley 1st incident) ( 2nd incident Higley and Chandler Heights). I asked the ASL if it was policy for the cashiers to ask if a customer is doing insta carts. Being a black woman in a predominantly white area is the reason why I am being asked over the white customers that check out before I do. Both incidents white alone checked out by themselves and never got asked if they were doing insta cart. People need to be aware that they are being prejudice towards a certain group of people.

Instacart shoppers do not come to the store, you are not allowed to use the self check out, which means you're at the mercy of the long lines and the slow cashiers, it's the same thing with the Santan valley location. Avoid avoid avoid!

Fry's a reliable stop for your kitchen and household needs. Their selection is varied and the stock is good. There are special selection items unique to the brand that are quite good. My favorite part of Fry's is their Murray's Cheese section. It is the perfect go-to for all your charcuterie dreams. The made to order sushi isn't too shabby either.

I can't wait until another logo is on the front of the building. I've contacted corporate, spoke to managers, and no one cares. Pharmacy does not care (closes early; does not communicate; hostile attitudes). Grocery does not care (half of the shelves are empty). Deli does not care (closes early; no food after 4pm). Front end does not care (lines of customers; 2 lanes open, half of self checkout closed on a Sunday afternoon). So I drive down the road instead of across the street to spend my money. They've done everything possible to convey the message that customers do not matter. "Short staffed" is always the excuse. No effort, poor management, and carelessness is the actual reason.

Alicia! You should be fired!!!! You are rude, came up, started deleting all of our items and then accusing us of not scanning them after you deleted them, we repeatedly asked you what you were doing, and you ignored us! We asked you for help with 1 issue, and you insisted on taking over and making a huge scene in front of a line of customers! I hope you lose your job!Furthermore, Christina manager, responded to our comments about Alicia by letting us know that there are not a lot of people who actually want to work, so they keep people who are rude, instead of hiring people who do not want to work!!! Last I checked, customer service was a key indicator in one maintaining a job!! Great manager you are Christina, you and Alicia should both leave.Thank you Tammy at Customer service, you are amazing, Don't stop what you are doing! You are great!!!!
