The male pharmacist working here is on a full time power trip. He thinks he is the doctor in charge of your meds. He tried to refuse me my meds before I spoke to his supervisor. Be careful. I will update this with his name.

Lack of empathy. Nobody smiles or greets you. You are a nuisance to their day. As you come up to the counter, to the heavily market PICK UP PRESCRIPTIONS HERE area, someone will yell at you from the back and ask how they can help. Then, they'll yell for your name. So much for patient confidentiality. The greatest concern was that upon checkout I was told to sign the checkout pad. Realizing that I hadn't paid yet, I decided to read exactly what it was I was signing. Well, to my surprise I was signing a "Waiver of consultation." The lazy pharmacist didn't offer a consultation to see if there may be a deadly conflict between medications I may be taking, but happily pushed an unannounced waiver that may clear him of any liability! What nerve! I would not trust this place to look out for my best interests as it relates to my health. I promptly walked out! Like others, I was told by my doctor that prescriptions are cheaper here. My overall health is worth more than saving a few bucks. I had my doctor send the prescription to another pharmacy.

Pharmacy | if you need to be put on hold without so much as a "please hold" or a "hello", twice, and you relish someone picking up and immediately disconnecting you, then this is the pharmacy for YOU. I usually do not go to Safeway for my pharmacy needs, it never enters my mind, but the meds were said to be cheaper. With this first impression being so negative...damn. Perception is reality and cheaper doesn't always mean better.

Mindy and Anne are the reason why we use this @Safeway as our pharmacy. Error free, great customer service, and they have compassion. Great place to have to go even if you don't feel well.

I have had a good experience in this store. Fruits and veggies are fresh. The clerk actually brought my forgotten bag out to my car. I was impressed with the employee wiping down each cart last week!

I placed an online order for pickup. When I arrived they had only one item on my list. I was charged a $4.95 fee for pickup. I understand that things are in short supply and just grateful they offer this service. However I was not notified prior to my arrival that they only had one item. It was a thirty minute drive for me and not worth the $4.95 pickup charge. There was no way to check my order other than to go to the store and pick it up. In the future I will use Frys as they do not charge a fee and always notify you when something not in stock and offer to substitute when available. I tried to call the contact number on my receipt to complain. I was on hold for over an hour. I finally got through to someone who just said "I can't hear you, call back at this same number". Very frustrating. Update: I finally got through to the contact number after another hour on the phone. I did get a refund of the $4.95 charge.

I found a long black hair in my corn bread! Yuck! Really sad about this because the corn bread was unusually good! Now I can't buy baked goods here.

Customer service at the store sucks. They don't care about the customer and they don't want to try to make things right there are a lot of other grocery stores around we can shop at. Stay away customer service is very poor

Frustrating experience TRYING to shop there. Inconsistent stock levels and in my opinion borderline bait and switch tactics on sale items. Never have a good supply of what is on sale! Went two days in a row to get a sale item, empty shelves and the guy behind the customer service counter says they do not give rain checks. That's fine Fry's does and there is one a block away!

i applied for a position there i have worked for safeway before. the manager said i have to speak to assist manager, I spoke to assist he said go home apply on line and come back when i completed, I did my part went back he had a half day at work paul did. i left note for paul c that i did. I went back to see him again and he went on vacation left note for manager who was taking a nap in the store,, the manager didnt reply, I called back after paul c came back from vacation to learn he didnt need me, I am a veteran and worked for a newspaper 33 yrs didnt feel i was treated right, Paul c has never made a store director because he is not a people person i worked with him i know different safeway.
