I really only have a specific issue that has left me very concerned about renewing with Sams Club. I got a trial membership and have been turning down the renewal of it, because it's just not worth the money to me. MY membership paid for on MY card. my mom has an add on card and buys her own things on her card when we go (always together). Every time at the register, we select "no" to renewing. Well, today, mom goes in and finds that they have pulled MY membership fee from HER account with absolutely NO AUTHORIZATION to do so. The only way they could have gotten her info is from when she shopped there. I will say that the manager/lead was AWESOME and gave us the refund in cash, as this was going to cause mom to be overdrawn. But couldn't explain to me how this happened. I don't see any acceptable reason why this should have happened.

I wish the self-checkout machines accepted cash. But the store is well-stocked and the front end employees are attentive, even when the store is slammed.

Clean with helpful staff, good self-checkout, shelves neat and well-stocked. Gas area provides window cleaning needs, unlike Costco. 1/13/24: Husband has the self-scanning and checkout app, which makes everything super-fast and easy, though he says sometimes he needs extra verification at the gas pumps. I need to add this!

Love Sam's. Hate most deliveries. 2 deliveries Jan 10th. Both fairly heavy boxes left directly blocking my front door! Why can't the driver place packages beside the door?? Even behind the pillar there? Amazon packages are left there. Depends on the driver. There's no point in calling. I've tried. There is no way to control the driver doing a good job. I miss the days of " customer service". I should be happy the delivery was made, I guess.

I have been waiting over 3 hours now for my curbside pickup order that I placed YESTERDAY! Update: I ended up waiting 4 hours (I have a disability and a herniated disc in my spine, I was in a lot of pain and they refused to let me cancel the order even after I told them so). And I check our order today and we're missing our chicken breast and they still charged us for it.

TERRIBLE customer experience!!!!!! I just tried calling the membership desk for assistance for over 30 minutes and still was not able to get through to anyone! In fact, I was picked up hung up on multiple times!!!! What kind of business does that?!?! All I had was a simple question. This isn’t the first time Sam’s club associates have done this!!! The NEVER answer the phones!!!!! I’m done with this membership. Back to Costco where I’ve NEVER had an issue with them simply answering the telephone.

The wait at the Cafe here can be excruciatingly long. They never have enough employees in the Cafe but it is especially bad on weekend afternoons. If you don't use their app to order then you could be standing in line for more than half an hour before your order is even taken; I timed my wait at 30 minutes and sixteen seconds to make an order and another 3 minutes and 21 seconds to get the food. After getting your food, you'll find that the dining area is dirty. There is no indication that people who ordered on the app are getting food whole you're waiting in line. There is no signage in the line area stating that it is possible to skip the line and order on the app, and there are no employees letting you know this either. This leaves customers standing in a ridiculously slow line for a ridiculously long time, wondering all the while why it is so slow.Their customer service skills leave a lot to be desired. After this wait, they failed to give me the drink that I ordered and gave me the wrong food. They fixed the issues after blaming me for the mistake.They removed one of the only sugar free options from the drink selection, leaving only pepsi zero.
