I used to love the fact that the pharmacy gave out coupons so I could receive 10% off my groceries.They no longer offer this ?And further more their corporate office is forcing self check out.The staff is wonderful always helpful with a smile ? ?

Fairly average mart with everything you need. Great prices on meat! Love the BBQ boxes too. The only thing they didn't have was pasture raised eggs, but not all places do in general. I talked with Dennis one day and he was nice.

Great place! I've always been able to find what I needed whether it be groceries, beverages, cold medicines, produce or deli. However, just be sure to check out the expiration dates on packaged fruits, juices, milk and processed meats. I have found moldy berries and expired beverages. Other than that, great place, friendly staff and quick shopping.

The prices here are very fair compared to many other stores. The bakery is REALLY good! The variety is impressive. The MANTECADOS - big shortbread cookies - are outrageously yummmmy! The meats are good as well. The produce is also great. Good choices and variety. They have an extended selection of Latin spices and products available as well. They offer some amazing discounts for Seniors - the first Tuesday of the month - and the savings are impressive. Check this spot out and you'll be happy you did. And in case you don't know - Food City is owned by BASHA'S on the Southside. Support this little gem. It is a no frills grocery store with a lot to offer.

The only things worse than impoliteness is making excuses for your actions. Upon walking up to the register belt, the robust young latina cashier was on her personal cell phone. She put it down as though she had been interrupted. In the many years I've shopped at Food City the checkers always have said hello, asked if you found everything and if you need anything else. There was not a peep from this cashier. The employee bagging I recognized and was polite. Asking bagging questions about a gallon of milk. Upon the young robust cashier finishing checking the items, the she immediately picked up her cellphone and began typing again. She didn't say a word, didn't look up once, she grabbed the receipt from the cash register in one hand while typing on her cellphone with her other hand. She extended her one arm out to hand me the receipt but, haphazardly so. Not extending her arm out far enough due to the fact she was half slumped over leaning against the counter. She never looked up or said a word. When she, the cashier finally noticed she still had my receipt, while typing on her phone the entire time with her other hand she looked up. I said I was wondering if you were going to notice. Still not a word from her but an excuse from her fellow employee. What a disgrace and difference the customer service has become at Food City.

If you want to cook Hispanic food, this is the place to go. They carry all the spices, peppers, meats and cheeses you need for pretty much any Mexican dish. I made Osso Bucco the other night and it was excellent and the price for the beef shank was good.It's not my first choice for grocery shopping as many items are full retail price but, if you need Mexican items, they got it, and if you shop their sales they have decent prices. Avocados are oftentimes 3/$1 and their fresh made tortilla chips are always found in my house.

Well, i love this place so much, and the donuts are always so good, but they changed how they are now? I bought a dozen all the donuts were very doughy. They did not bake them at all. My grandma and grandpa both got diarea.so, i won't be back 13 dollars wasted. Please bake till they are no longer doughy !!! You're gonna get elderly people sick.super gross.

Food City has a mixture of regular and specialty food items. I can usually find what I need to here without going somewhere else. Sometimes they have amazing prices on meats which are worth stocking up on. The produce section has a good variety and is usually pretty fresh. ?

Went grocery shopping. I like the big selection of meats, there are many foods I like to get from Good City. The py are very nice to their costumers to. I had a nice day shopping ot Food City.

Stocking hard to find but inexpensive foods that I have been having trouble finding since moving here 4 yes ago. The pharmacy and it's staff are incompatible.
