I ordered a cake 6 days ago and paid for it. It was a tres leches cake. It took me forever to get somebody to come over to take my order. I wanted a tres leches cake with blue letters that said happy birthday angel. I paid almost 49.00. when I went to pick it up the whole cake was blue dark blue. That's not what I ordered. So I took it to the party. Nobody want to eat the cake because it made your teeth blue for 2 days. And nobody wants to eat that much food coloring He's not a kid He's 29 years old. I don't know how it went so bad. I will never order a cake there again.i still have half the cake left. I'm not eating that cake.

I leave a no star review because I live in Tempe and I call this store location to see if orange juicer up and running and they never answer there phone. All staff even managers very unprofessional. Your better off going to El Super across the street. And I leave one star only because I had to.

Update: had an issue with the prepared masa I got for the tamales. Talked to a manager named Odalis. I lost half my batch of cooked tamales because of bad Masa. Never buying from here again. Even when bringing my concerns to management they wouldnt rectify the problem. Even another employee in the store agreed that the Masa is no good here. That says alot.

Great place to get authentic Mexican grocery items. Oh been been going here since it first open when I used to live just down the street. Their cafeteria area is awesome and a great place to get lunch. I only take away 1 star as the younger generation seems to hate being there and make it very obvious. Bring back the hard working Hispanics I grew up with.

First off, I love these kinds of markets, with tons of fresh Mexican food available. On this trip, I had a weird experience while ordering lunch at the counter. For some reason, I apparently was invisible to the people serving the food, because I was skipped over several times, although I and quite a few other people were clearly in line. I was trying to avoid making a scene, but a woman behind me in line noticed and spoke up in my stead (thanks for that). Food was good, but not sure why it was so hard to get.

Let's talk about the good: this market is a great place for getting Mexican product, from vegetables, fruits, and other good, their Salsa Verde de mocajete is my absolute favorite, and well, truly, for me, it is the mostly the only reason I come to this place. I can get other products from any other Mexicano market. Now the reason for giving one star. I stopped by o Friday Sept, 8th early morning to get my favorite salsa, (almost as good as Moms' salsa) it was about 0730, and since the self check out is becoming the norm, all of those check out registers were open, all of them were in use. two costumer had their shopping cart full.... full... using the self check out registers.... ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. I voiced my frustration to the only register attendant, which; she was doing a good job helping all the costumers who did not seem to have an understanding on the use of such registers. She directed me to the manager, and I voiced my frustration to her as well. my frustration was related to the fact that: 1: all of the registers were in use, 2: two of them were being used by costumers who had a full shopping cart. and two more, were used by costumers who seemed to have trouble using the self check out registers. the response from the manager was that there would be one at 0800. at this point the manager suggested I call corporate. The worst: I liked the manager's suggestions and called corporate, twice. what I got during the calls, was an offer to a voucher or a wall mart shopping card, the first person who attended me, understood I was not interested on the card, nor the voucher , but rather I want to talk to someone about my poor experience. on my second call, the attendant was very insistent about the offers, voucher VS card. I was firm and and kept asking her to please connect me with someone who would listen to my complaint. she kept pushing the "gifts card and or voucher" so much that I actually told her that since she was not been helpful with my concerns, I would hang up before getting pissed off and start yelling at her.UPDATE: THANK YOU MR B.M. FOR YOUR RESPONSE. NOW WHY AM I WRITING ON CAPS? IT IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR YOU AND OTHER PEOPLE WHO MAY TAKE THE TIME TO READ MY REVIEW, TO UNDERSTAND THAT IT WAS NOT ANY OF THE ATTNEDANTS LACK OF ASSISTANCE THE MADE ME MAD, IT IS THE FACT THAT, AS A CORPORATION, YOU DO NOT HAVE THE APPROPRIATE AMOUNT OF EMPLOYEES TO ASSIS COSTUMERS WHO ENJOY DOING THEIR WEEKLY SHOPPING EARLY MORNING. BOTH THE ATTENDANT AND THE MANAGER/SUPERVISORWERE HELPFUL. V E R Y H E L P F U L. I HOPE THIS MAKES IT CLEAR. MY SECOND ISSUE WAS, WHEN I CALLED COSTUMER SERVICE TO MAKE A COMPLAINT, AND ALL I RECIEVED WERE ATTEMPTS TO MAKE ME FEEL GOOD BY OFFERING ME A GIFT CARD AND/OR VOUCHER. AND THERE WAS NOBODY WHO WOULD ADDRESS MY CONCERN/COMPLAINT. LEAVE YOUR EMPLOYEES ALONE, THEY CAN ONLY DO SO MUCH, ESPECIALLY IF YOU DO NOT PROVIDE THE APPROPRIATE AMOUNT OF STAFF TO PROVIDE APPROPRIATE SERVICE TO YOUR COSTUMERS. I'LL SAY THIS ONE MORE TIME. A COSTUMER WITH A FULL SHOPPING CART, REGARDLESS OF HOW EARLY IT IS, SHOULD BE ASSISTED WITH HIS/HER CHECK OUT PROCESS AND N O T U S E THE SELF CHECK OUT REGISTERS.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I came in for lunch and had the worst customer service. As I was trying to order food the lady in the taco section was super rude and had an attitude the whole time. I proceeded to ask for a fresh pressed juice and the lady didn't even bother to clean out the machine from the previous juice she made and halfOf my juice was the previous juice. The juice was nasty and lady and rude manager both refused to remake my order even after I kindly asked them too. The place is always full and they can't keep the line going. Do not recommend coming here.
