Old gentleman that works in the deli kitchen is a complete jerk. He was completely rude and aggressive when I kindly asked a question. I was in shock and it left me thinking, did that just happen. I kindly proceeded to tell him I would go elsewhere and have a good day. Not sure if it was an off day for him but it was completely uncalled for. I would’ve loved to tell him to go fly a kite but I respect my elders.

The elderly gentleman at self check out (I’m bad with names) he is so helpful! I had never used the coupons before so I was a little lost on the details. He stepped right in and helped! He knew how the app worked and some shortcuts! Safeway has a couple of helpful staff. This man is a role model for others! He noticed when I was struggling and stepped right in and helped! I am grateful ?

Thank you to the butcher who was there on the Sunday morning of 2/4/2024. I didn't catch his name, but he left the floor stocking and cut me a chuck roast to a size that I wanted. It was nice to see that excellent customer service still exists.

This was my last time shopping at this store. Consistently the cashiers and baggers are rude. Today Mercedes rang me up but refused to stop texting the entire time. The bagger was a male with curly hair who spilled my flowers and their water on the belt but got upset with me about it. Mercedes made a point to tell him that I would "kill him for killing the flowers." I tried to make a joke of it by expressing that theflowers were technically already dead. Both of these two were cold as ice. No greeting, no kindness. No words directed to me whatsoever. Mercedes didn't tell me my total. She took forever to get off her phone to print my receipt. This was the worst and coldest customer service experience ever. These two should really be working behind the scenes and not with customers.

I can see how this store got low stars. We went to customer service to ask about a charge for a rib roast we purchased. We were supposed to spend a minimum of $25 before we could get the $4.97/lb special. Our mistake and we were cool about that...we were more than happy to pick up a few more items to fulfill that bargain but the issue was with the not so gentleman person that spoke to us. Our non confrontational approach was met with incredible arrogance. It took us by shock. The man spoke down at us and treated like we were stupid. He never offered a friendly way to help us get the special deal. He wanted us to know that we didn't understand the ad. His coworker stepped in to say that we can go back and shop for $25 worth of groceries. We thanked her gratefully for her assistance. I don't know why we were met with such disservice. The man had a lot of jewelry but the one that baffled me the most was the 2 inch wide silver and gold pendant of "The Last Supper" around his neck. For someone with a horrible, low customer attitude to display such a showy religious image, he was not an ideal human to be representing that. Also, he shouldn't be a face of a neighborhood grocery store. Customers will always remember you.

Always liked Safeway. Clean environment and solid in stock. Nothing to speak of for service did not need any help. Equal pricing to the others.

Wonderful bakery and super employees throughout the store. Dear manager...please invest in a new bread slicer...the one you have is a disaster. often it mangles the bread.

I generally do not go to Safeway anymore because they consistently do not have items on my list and they have hiked their prices. Today I spent nearly $40 on 1 gal. milk, two bananas, 2 peaches, 2lb strawberries, 2 eclairs, 3 chicken strips and a burnt meatloaf. They have a great deli section and they have this delicious meatloaf that comes in a package that is kept warm under warming lights. However , more often than not these days, I bring the meatloaf home and it is burnt like it was today. This has happened 9 out of 10 times. I brought one back to bring it to their attention and it still happens. Burnt meatloaf for $9 is not a great deal. Totally frustrating.

I want to recognize Barb in the deli. At 8pm on a Tuesday she was giving every customer at that counter outstanding customer service and helping customers save money ❤️❤️❤️

Just a terrible Safeway. Never fully stocked and it’s VERY hit n miss with employees. It’s always a little dirty too. This is not a representation of what Safeway once was as a company. There’s a large parking lot but there never seems to be anything close. The only shade is taken by employees. Carts everywhere so watch out for dings in your car.

This place prices have gotten worse since the pandemic. They started to come down now they are sky high. Not just some things but everything. They advertise things on sale in there ads but when you go in there not and when you ask they are rude. Stop using the pharmacy now going to find a new place to go. Really bad

Nice enough people but the organization and layout of items in the store is terrible. Half of what you are looking for is not where you expect it, the selection is mediocre to bad.

Nice, clean store with friendly help. Prices seem to be on par for what's going on in this world. Shelves are usually well stocked. Not a fan of the parking spaces being up close for folks who shop on line. Handicap parking should have priority.
