Unfortunately my normal ACE hardware on Union Hills & 19th Ave was out of the item I needed. They were so kindly to direct me to a location that did. Well to my surprise I drove out of my way to purchase an item at the location on Scottsdale Rd and Shea. This location was EXTREMELY humid and blistering HOT. I was bit by several mosquitoes. I had to have a key made in the back. I could barely breathe because of the uncomfortable temperature. I felt sick to my stomach, so I had to leave. This location should be shutdown for unbearable conditions of heat exhaustion. I will NEVER go back to this location again. I would rather wait for the item to be ordered at my local Ace hardware where there is air conditioner and enjoyable shopping experience and not being bit by bugs.

I rushed to make it to the store before closing. I arrived at 6:57 pm and went up to the door just as they locked it. If a business says it's open until 7 pm and does not keep their doors open until 7 pm, that's wrong. Anyway, maybe they will read this and learn a lesson.

Great section of good quality tools and a decent amount of material also for a hardware store.Good prices and very friendly workers always looking out to try and help.

It's tough being a neighborhood hardware store. Sometimes they don't have an exact match for the light bulb or bolt you're looking for, which is frustrating as a customer....but many times they do !This location also has really attentive service...it's easy to find someone to assist you when your stuck. H.D. and Lowes ...not so much.I also have a loyalty to this ACE because they were 'generously assisted' my son with hardware needs for his eagle scout project..20 years ago !

1st they charged me for 2items when I only was buying 1. 2nd they charged me more than the price on the shelf. I told them. They didn't believe me. I went & got the price from the shelf and showed them. No apology, nothing. Very poor attitude & service.

I love this store! I've always been treated with respect and I have always promptly received great service! They call someone up to load in the car the salt for my softener!

This Ace Hardware has the longest wall of fastener bins I've seen anywhere. They had what I needed!

Fantastic Ace Hardware they have a giant grilling section. If you’re looking for all the best accessories on yetis, big green eggs and webers you are in the right place. They also have a good amount of black stones and griddle cook tops. If you can’t find the right tool for Bbq there you’re probably looking in the wrong spots I would highly recommend any barbecue her to go to this ace hardware.

I do like this hardware store, very home town feel but it is over priced in most instances, do to its location I guess.

Came into the store to purchase a door pull, 1/6/23, had to find a store staff to help direct he walked away and went to someone who approached him after me, walked to front of store and 3 people no customers were at the service desk not once did they ask as I stood there if I needed help. Finally when I got their attention 1 guy walks me back to the hardware and shows me something that did not resemble anything that I was asking him about and showing him I wanted to replace and argues with me when asked him about the hardware locked up behind glass doors! I told him what you're showing me doesn't match what I'm showing you and what I just recently bought from one of the other ACE stores (with the assurance there is a matching handle just out at that location) why would you show me that! He abruptly raises his voice, begins to argue, blank look like an idiot shrugging his shoulders! Went to front desk asked for the manager, I was told by a female employee he is a manager, sad!Not another visit to this store!Train your staff here and provide the expert & friendly service we're accustomed to receiving from our neighborhood ACE stores.IAS

I have tried. I have tried multiple times to use this place instead of other big box stores. And every time I go in I never get help. I see other people walk in and they are greeted, today I was greeted and thought things could change. I was wrong. There was an older man, an employee, working on building a space heater. So I waited, and waited and waited. He looked up, saw me, and said nothing. So I pushed the button to get help getting some keys cut. When I pushed the button he grunted I'll be right there. I said ok. I didn't think it was his normal area because he couldn't even greet me and say I'll be right right with you. No problem. Another employee comes to help me. Perfect, I think. A few moments later another man walks up to the counter. I stepped away knowing it would be a few minutes to get my keys. I went looking at Christmas stuff. Just a few feet away. The man looks supposed that the person isn't greeted him eaither so he hits the button. The older man (employee) grunts at him , someone will be there. Like we are bothering him. So I say, well if you greeted us we would know you are not ignoring us. He then said something back to me in return I said some stuff back to. It was just a rude encounter and j will never go back.

Went in today was five workers standing in front when we walked in and not one wanted to help us.Then went to pay at register and workers ignored us and rather talk about video games then cash us out. Will never go back in there ever...
