3 stars for when it’s dry (summer), 4 stars winter, about 1.5 mile round trip through a rocky-sandy wash. Scramble over some largish rocks but take your time. Suitable for older kids.
Turn left (upstream) once you hit main wash. Then less than 1/4 mile. May or may not be dry.
Like any other place in the desert be snake-aware.
Added bonus is Sears-Kay ruins 1/2 mile up
Seven Springs road. The ruins are interesting (but subtle compared to cliff dwellings).

The staff felt standoffish. I was able to find a book I've been looking for, plus one I decided to pick up on a whim. In terms of selection, this location is wonderful. The staff were off putting though.

All personnel are very helpful and fast to find what you’re looking for.
Great service and I keep going back.
There is a Starbucks coffee inside the store that you can enjoy. Hot cup of coffee while you read your favorite book.
Clean store also. I love it and I would definitely recommend.
