I subscribe to the weekly newsletter and usually find a good deal on a number of sale items. Plus, they're right around the corner from me. Great service and if an item is out of stock, you can order online and ship to store with no shipping cost.

Went to get something early before the game. They opened the door a few minutes early for me. Didn't have exactly what I needed, but found something that worked just fine. Nice staff. Eager to help.

So disappointing. We purchased a light up football from them for our sons birthday. It’s only half inflated in the package and when we aired it the rest of the way it had a leak and wouldn’t stay inflated. He was so disappointed. The next disappointment came when we tried to turn it and they would only give us store credit which is useless to us as we live in Oklahoma where there are no Big 5s. And we didn’t want to purchase another football from them and risk it leaking air again. Had to waste the store credit on something else just to get our money back. Then final blow came when my son had to use the restroom and we were informed that they don’t have a restroom and we would have to go elsewhere. I will not be shopping at this store again.

It was all right, not the best ever location I've ever been to, definitely limited selection. I did find just the right kind of shoes that I was looking for. Got a pack and was only so so happy with it, it's fine for the price but there weren't many choices. And literally only one option for hiking pole rubber tips, and only one single pair left. Oh well. Prices all good.

I make use of Big5s all across the states I travel to because their stuff is useful for active lives and the prices are better than their competitors. They also have sales and entire sales racks. Found what I was looking for: a slip shirt for time in the pool. There were options for $40 to $60, very fancy, and then there were sale prices: $12. Even their sport drinks are priced ok and they certainly have lots of choices.
