I make use of Big5s all across the states I travel to because their stuff is useful for active lives and the prices are better than their competitors. They also have sales and entire sales racks. Found what I was looking for: a slip shirt for time in the pool. There were options for $40 to $60, very fancy, and then there were sale prices: $12. Even their sport drinks are priced ok and they certainly have lots of choices.

I wish I had not misplaced my receipt so I could name the cashier by name, but, instead I will say he was young with dark hair and might have been a fairly new employee. I just wanted to compliment him on his professionalism and attitude. I was purchasing something that had been listed in the one day sale that was emailed to me and was having a difficult time pulling up the email on my phone while at the cash register. He never got impatient, made me feel rushed or embarrass me. He was polite and very helpful. I really appreciated that he did not make me feel stupid for trying to save a few dollars and was extremely pleasant through the entire encounter. I wish all retail employees had his patience and personality - especially this time of year.

The manager is a delight, reasonable, decisive, and informative. She has hired a new member that is helpful and personable. He went above and beyond my expectations and I left with shoes that I love!

Staff is always friendly. Stopped to buy a tonto pass last night it I got there about 5 mins too late they had just closed. Not their fault. I always have ahold experience at this location.
