ONLY and Best place place to get hearing aids. When faced with age-related hearing loss, dealing with the market place jungle is bad enough with the advertising fraud and chicaunery of myriads of online ads promising cheap solutions that amount to nothing but confusion and elder abuse. This is a serious issue; for the rest of your life! After I got over my years of denial and tired of saying "what" to the people in my world, I tried online and a few audiology franchises, which in retrospect was a waste of time and money. So I thought I'd just see what Costco had to offer. Well, I was shocked at the competance and friendliness of the entire staff, especially Veronica, who I see most often but also Todd, Robin, Roxanne and Chad. Further, I was equally surprised at the VALUE (price, quality, no charge for adjusment visits, and warranty and loss coverage). The result has been, simply - LIFE CHANGING! Must include two additional points: 1. the most common criticism is the "wait for appointment" issue and I can only say I have never had to wait longer than a week (compare to MD visits lately) 2. I had to ask myself how Costco could be so different? Obvious answer is that the staff is saleried and not commission motivated and of course, Costco's buying power. Remember - we're talking about the quality of your life, for the rest of your life.

Someone referred me to Costco for my next set of hearing aids. So I went to the Scottsdale location and after researching bought the KIRLAND brand. They were supposed to b in within 1 week but it took 3 weeks. But they are easy to program and the battery lasts a week to 10 days! Then I had to make 3 appts to have them adjusted for my specific hearing needs. Appts were taken on time with a very pleasant & friendly staff. The patience and understanding given to me by CHAD & ROBIN each time was extraordinary. They listened to my needs and by the 3rd appt got the hearing aids to work perfectly. I now refer to my hearing aids as my hearing buds (cause they are my buddies).I highly recommend the KIRKLAND brand as well as the Scottsdale Costco location. Thank you very much CHAD & ROBIN for making my experience go so well. I am so enjoying my new world of nearing again.

Great pricing on different brands and types of hearing aids. Chad was my technician and did a good job of explaining my purchase options after my hearing exam and explaining my hearing results. Great customer service and you always have the Costco satisfaction backing. Definitely recommend.

I've had three free hearing aids tests in the last 30 days getting ready to purchase hearing aids. Costco's was by far the most in-depth and extensive test.

Robert (Bob) is a true example of someone who "more than satisfies" his hearing center customers. I left with a "WOW" appreciating great service, concern, and care by him. He is located at the center inside Costco in Scottsdale, AZ on Hayden (South of Frank Lloyd Wright).

On our stay in Arizona for 6 days, we did shop at Costco on March 24 of 2015, and also stopped by at the Hearing Center. Previously on March 5, 2015 we did visit the Costco Hearing Center at Peachtree Dunwoody Rd, in Atlanta, GA where I could not get my husband's right hearing aid repaired. The reason was, she said, the hearing aid was too old (5 yrs) and there were no spare parts anymore so my husband ought to buy a new set. Now with the very same hearing aid, we got offered a very swift and courteous repair; on the spot, by Ms. Robin. No questions asked, very professional and with a gracious smile. It took her only a couple of minutes and we were told there is no charge. What a difference such outstanding service makes within one and the same company but two different states!

Went in for a free test and consultation. Got to wear their $2k unit around the store a little. The hearing aid guy was professional and knew his stuff. I got my units one week later. Oddly enough, they don't keep any inventory in the store (employee theft?). You have to be a costco member to buy hearing aids, so I joined. You do not need to be a member for a free hearing test and evaluation. This particular store is very busy at mid-day. Parking usually for me is out by the street. I'm sure there is a reason why the place is always so busy. All in all I have been satisfied with my units and their service. BTW, I have looked and there is minimal info online about their hearing aids, like manuals or independent reviews, etc. I got the units with bluetooth so I can link my iphone to my hearing aids and listen to music, podcasts, or take phone calls from my phone. The bluetooth performance is sketchy, depends a lot on how much other nearby radio signals are around. The range from the bluetooth unit to the hearing aids is very limited but between the iphone and BT unit are about 40 feet depending on interference. In high interference locations like a best buy or walmart or something the range was down to about a foot or so from the hearing aids to the BT control clip. The BT feature is optional and costs I think about $150 more (for the clip-on controller). The audio quality on the BT link is comparable to a standard wired telephone line. Follow-up: Early January had my follow-up appointment, had some software changes to my two working profiles and discussed use and performance with my rep. All in all I am pleased with the service and performance of my hearing aids. This is my first ever pair of hearing aids, probably not the last. My hearing data and service records are available at all USA costco stores they tell me, not just the local one. One year later: still working fine. One software oddity I noticed early-on with these Resound hearing aids is the low battery chime often doesn't work, you get a clicking noise instead. This happens more often than the chime, so learn to recognize both. I simply run my finger over the top microphone to be sure they're operating. I get about 3 twelve hour work shifts per battery. After about 14 months I am still very pleased with the performance of these devices. The bluetooth link performance inside large stores is very poor. Update: two and a half years later they're still working fine. I am very pleased with these devices. It took a while for my ears to get used to the presence in the ear canal. They do feel like they're always trying to crawl out of my ears but I think that's a common problem for this style of hearing aid.
