I paid $160 for a pair of shoes. I drove an hour one way from Queen Creek to Scottsdale to pick them up curbside. When I got home and opened the box, you could tell they had already been used. The shoes were laced up and the tread was worn and dirty.

I found what I was looking for and a reasonable price compared to other stores. I don't if it's the way I'm dressed or because of my skin color,I get followed around like I'm a thief. I'm proud too say I have a full time job!

I actually love their selection of clothing. The only issue i have is the lack of service and friendliness. Cashiers look miserable and traumatized. I was in the shoe section trying to try on some shoes. The attendants disappear for long periods of time.

The man at the counter was very helpful! I will say don't try and buy any shoes at Dicks. I've been a long time customer and I spend way too much money here however this was a disappointing experience. ** I repeat, don't buy shoes from Dicks** BUY FROM THE MANUFACTURER. Why? Because the return policy is not customer friendly. I put on soccer boots that I purchased and they were a size too small. I came back to return them and the have a policy that after one wear you can't return. Next time I will go to try them on and order from the manufacturer.

This place is a train wreck. I went for the first time today. An associate approached me to ask if I needed assistance. I asked if she could could do a price check. Her computer apparently couldn't do a price check. So I downloaded the application. I then went to try on the two Nike tanks I found on sale on the phone app and the fitting room was a disaster. The associate acknowledged it but did not empty it. Then when I got to the register they tried to charge me full price of course. I had to show the application so they could over ride. This took ten minutes but finally got the appropriate sales price. Won't be back anytime soon.

I was in need of some white Air Force ones and the only ones they had left in my size were the display ones. The shoes had a defect and a scuff on the front toe so I asked if they could please give me a discount for the defects .. Chris the manager at the moment said no because all shoes have some type of defect .. from what I’m hearing is all the shoes they are selling here are defects .. I would steer clear .. they are selling old defected shoes here at this fashion square location… I would recommend shopping at a different location if you want shoes that aren’t defected. Quick update: I called the Dick’s by Mayo Blvd the same day and they had the size I needed.(the employee/manager at the fashion square location had told me there were none in any other location ) I told them about what I had gone through with CHRIS from the Dick’s at Fashion square and they not only swapped the shoes out but also gave me a 20% discount for what I had gone thru with CHRIS the manager at Fashion Square mall Dick’s Sporting Good.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this time I tried to get a supervisor and was refused so let this be a word of warning to people purchasing Shoes here. I have purchased 4 colors of Nike Airmax 270's, nike pegasus, etc., multiple $60+ shoes for my son and multiple $100 shoes for my wife from this location the shoe department is awesome in terms of employees. In fact, I even left a good review for one within their internal review system. One pair of $169 Nike AirMax 270's that I purchased, after only wearing them 5 different occasions, the air bubble "lost pressure" when the tread beneath lifted. Its a basic manufacturer defect and had something to do with the adhesive so I took them in to simply exchange them as they were in nearly new condition, not even a scuff on the white lower portion. The young woman at the desk flat refused to help me or even get a supervisor. I'm a very easy going, polite, non sarcastic or condescending personality and understand that there are procedures in place which I respect. With that said, she wouldn't even consider any other option but tell me to take it up with nike. These are $169 shoes and they were so new that I even had the original bag, box and receipt with me. We have spent $1,000's this year alone for my sons baseball gear, shoes for my wife, son and I, etc. Again, the shoe department is incredible and even call me when my size comes in for certain shoes and go the extra mile (I wear a size 13) which are tough to find. I would love it if management would reach out so that I can discuss options to just replace them as they are still in brand new condition. I still have the receipt. The Nike process is too risky because they state they are not responsible for returning them if they deem them not a defect. I will not post a picture because I understand that the store did not in fact do it and I don't want it in your store photo reel but I would be happy to email or bring them in instead.

March 7th 742pm-750pm Earlier tonight I went to this Dicks Sporting Goods location at Fashion Square Mall in Scottsdale Az Store #1194 I strongly suggest taking your business elsewhere because Chris the manager at this location will discriminate against customers and judge customers without reason. I've spent thousands of dollars at different Dicks Sporting Good stores over the past 15 plus years but I'll never spend another penny at this corporation after tonight. Today I brought a friend with me who was recently released from the hospital with Stage 4 throat cancer and planned on purchasing some new clothes for him since he lost 70 pounds this year while he battled rounds of chemotherapy treatment. He's 32 years old and is down to 110 pounds at 6ft 1 inches tall, so his old clothes don't fit him properly anymore. As I walked towards the rear of the store I picked up a few different chapsticks for my girlfriend to see when she got to the store after stopping at Jamba Juice inside the mall. I asked a Dicks Team Member who I later found out was the manager of the store for assistance. I asked if the store had any Nike Air Max 90s available to which he replied "no." He mocked me moment later after finding several Air Max 90s in smaller sizes and womens styles. My girlfriend collects Air Max 90s as do I but he felt the need to insult me for asking about a woman's shoe. After I calmly explained I was checking for my girlfriend he repeatedly told me that the store didn't have the size I was checking for. I checked online before going to the location to make sure this exact location had the style and sizes I was interested in. Chris then said he didn't know where the other pair for the display model was since the display was in the size I was looking for. I then asked about another color scheme for Air Max 90s since we collect this style shoe and again he said they didn't have them. So I tried going up a half size more then once but I could tell he wasn't interested in our business. He even asked where the chapsticks were that I picked up originally for my girlfriend to see, but they were right in my hand like they should've been. So now this manager Chris is looking at us as if my friend who struggles to get around or I am a thief. I've never in my life taken anything ever and either has my friend or girlfriend. This manager Chris then said he was going to call the police on us even though we had done absolutely nothing wrong. I asked him to speak with a manager but he said he was the only superior available and then proceeded to spell his name out Chris slowly followed by inappropriate name calling and racist remarks. I'm unpleasantly surprised to have learned that Dicks Sporting Goods would place an employee of this character in a position of power. Managers should be setting positive examples instead of the opposite. Chris then lied about his store number when I asked him for it and created more of a scene as I attempted to speak with a different employee in hopes of speaking with a supervisor. He demanded I not speak to his cashier and that she doesn't have to tell me anything. Chris rudely reminded me that he was the manager and to get the fuck out of here. If this is how management is allowed to conduct themselves at Dicks Sporting Goods then I would suggest taking your money elsewhere. The fact that he was willing to verbally bully my friend based on his medical condition and yell derogatory phrases at us both shows the type of character that Dicks Sporting Goods is choosing to promote within their business. He ruined our night and lost our business for good. The worst thing is my friend is already self conscious over the weight loss he's dealing with and this was his first time being out in public in a year. Chris made jokes about a stage 4 cancer patient and I would hope everyone who reads this chooses to take their business elsewhere since this is the type of customer service Dicks Sporting Goods deems acceptable. My grandson needed tee ball equipment, a young man , Austin came over to assist. He made the experience easy and fun. His knowledge was extremely helpful and he was so patient. Great employee, Austin, made our day!

I just want to thank the whole employees including the manager for helping us out the other day. They told us they would hold Some cleats for us and put our way to the side or when we got there the cleats were nowhere to be found. So that’s awesome Manager and his team ordered us some cleats online and gave us a good deal for them I appreciate you all so much.. thank you!
