Thee equipment is outdated. Not a lot of back equipment, leg equipment, no deadlift platforms, no turf, no trap / hex bars, no safety bars and a lot of wasted / unused space. This gym needs help. It's very deceiving by its outside appearance. Many people I've spoken to said they expected much more for a Scottsdale location.

When asked if you have to pay for your personal training if Their personal trainers fail to show up for Your appointment ..Latricia has said that is correct..you do have to pay regardless. No resolution has been offered ..and if you no longer want the service you have to pay 50 percent of your contract. Over 300 dollars already and they want more to provide Nothing. Their members time and money are of no object to them. Hopefully changing gym location will fix this, but I sincerely question this situation being left to scam member after member. I wish I had read the reviews before I signed up.

Friendly staff. Lots of equipment and workout options. I got a 7 days VIP pass to start with but I’m definitely signing up for a membership.

Great gym! I love how big, bright and open this gym floor plan is, it really gives this space a good feel. The equipment is well maintained and there is a wide variety of different types of equipment to use. The workout classes are popular and the instructor are well trained and bring great guidance and energy to their sessions! The trainers and employees/front desk receptionists are friendly and housekeeping staff keeps it really clean and are always so helpful. This gym has a very large pool and jacuzzi area that is also nice and well maintained.

They close for 10 hours overnight and don't open until 8am on weekends, so you'd expect a clean gym when you walk in first thing in the morning. This was the state if the men's locker room at 8:30 am on a Saturday. I always thought Circle K has the most disgusting restrooms but I'm wrong! You see it here: LA Fitness has more disgusting bathrooms than ghetto convenience stores. The only difference is I don't pay $54.99/month at Circle K. I'm going to ask the GM for a mop and some gloves so I can do someone's job for them. I'm completely and utterly embarrassed to say I'm a member here, I can't imagine if I was the GM or the owner how embarrassed I'd be ?

I've been going to this LA Fitness for a year now, and I absolutely love it! The gym is always clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The equipment is top-notch. I've seen great results since I started working out here, and I would highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a great workout experience. If I could add anything, it would be those massage chairs that all the other box gyms have.

I don’t generally go out of my way to leave negative reviews but my experience here was lackluster primarily due to an employee named Hannah. I signed up for a free 2-day pass, was told false information over the phone before I came in, then was charged a $20 fee for a day pass. There’s a lot of gyms out there to choose from, and after this experience…LA Fitness ain’t it.

Men locker area needs attention. I see how people conduct themselves in there, and it's not very sanitary...no wonder covid spead so fast to so many people...

I have been going to LA fitness for about 18 months now. It's a great beginner gym, where most people there are beginners. Maybe around a quarter of the people are gym bros, which brings great motivation and atmosphere. I don't do cardio, but the upstairs cardio is super cool. As I am becoming more of a moderate gym person, I may consider moving on to Mountainside Fitness because the gym is always packed, not as clean as I'd like and now doesn't have all of the amenities that I desire, such as a nice and comfortable ab workout section.
