This is my first yelp review but I have to give a shout out to the O'Reilly's on Scottsdale Rd and Gold Dust. A few weeks ago I was driving on the 101 in my mustang when the rear-view mirror fell out of its socket. I was afraid to drive so I stopped here to get a temporary stick up mirror until I could get to the Ford shop. The first person to help me came out to look at my car and see what I needed. He then referred me to a second employee-a young man , I believe his name was Connor- who came out and in the 108° heat spent a long time in an awkward position managing to put my rearview mirror back into place and secure it. And there was no charge! I was so grateful! I stopped by this particular shop because they had helped my daughter with an earlier problem. If you have any issues with your car or any questions, I recommend you stop at O'Reilly's first!

Today Jameson the manager provided excellent customer service today. He was able to provide me a few different tools so that I could install a part I needed for my vehicle. Thank you Jameson.

Super helpful staff. Still great. Always willing to help. Thought my batteries were bad but they tested and it was the altinator. New one comes in the morning

The employees Kelven and Kelsey were awesome. Im getting a tune-up for my 2007 Lexus es350, and they were so helpful, and both went above and beyond to get me the best parts at the best prices. Those two are both 5 star employees, and that's why I am a loyal customer.

Came in this evening with some questions about a battery and Conner and Jameson were both incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Will definitely be back to this location in the future.

I went to the closest auto shop (this place) from my house to replace a car battery that was no longer holding a charge. I used my own portable jumpstart that I bought from Amazon. Great device.When I get there, I ask for a battery test just in case. The representative couldn't seem to test the battery with his machine, seeing as he kept placing the red cable onto the battery WIRE, not the actual battery. I said ok well lets get a battery anyway.We go inside, and the rep and his manager essentially says, "Oh wow. This has never happened before. We don't have this battery." And preceded to blame it on the fact that the car is a 2021 (newer) than what they're used to. They recommended that I go to the DEALERSHIP because it's a "SPECIAL" kind of battery.Of course, the car won't start, battery is dead and won't keep a charge. Rep brings out his briefcase sized jumpstart machine to jump the car.Again, ignorant representative connects the red cable to the battery wire. Can't jump the car off. The rep says, "Well, I guess you gotta call a tow company and get it towed. That's why I don't like these newer cars; I got a 2004 toyota carolla straight drive."So I let the ignorance walk away into his store. An AUTO STORE. CANNOT START A CAR WITH A DEAD BATTERY. It's not like the transmission was broken. It's the battery. WELP. I GUESS YOU GOTTA PAY TO TOW IT.Thank God I brought my own portable car jumpstart device from Amazon with me. I jump start my car, and go straight to Advance Auto, who said over the phone that they have TWELVE BATTERIES IN STOCK for my car, and that it's a COMMON BATTERY. Advance Auto replaced my battery within 5 minutes.Every now and then, you run into an auto store that is full of idiots that don't even know how to work on a car. This is one of those stores.Choose anywhere else in the area. If you do go to this store, make sure you idiot-proof yourself before you go.

Had a broken splash shield from pulling in too close to too many curbs. It was extremely loud and I had no tools to remove the annoying flat bits that attached it to the bumper. I walked in and showed a gentleman a photo of the bumper. He immediately knew what tool I needed and took me over to purchase it. Man was a lifesaver. Great service, great knowledge, thank you.

I've literally been wracking my brain on how to fix a weirdly shaped euro bolt on my car's door. I've contacted a few mechanics and not had any response. I dread taking my auto to the dealership for repair. I was driving by O'Reilly and thought I'd just take a chance and see if they had a solution. Garret helped me from the second I walked in and took the time and effort to help me fix the loose bolt with a great sense of humor and a smile. Thank you!

Just perfect -- My window wiper went to pot while we were driving -- I guess it was not used to actual rain. At O'Reilly the gentleman got the new wipers and put them on for me so we could continue driving safely. I'm pretty sure that is a service (for no extra charge) that they give for everyone -- not just because I am 84 years old. Cudos to themRoger

I always shop at O’Reilly for my car needs. Tremendous customer service at this location!! Liz helped me get new struts for my car and was so helpful!
