A bit of a long-winded review, but hopefully others will save time and their own sanity based on my experience.This place might be the most useless business I’ve ever experienced. I’ve tried to purchase doors and countertops here and no one cares to help or even respond to me. I’ve been in to the store, to be told the salesman will be back in 20 min. I returned 30 minutes later, waited another 10 and he finally came in and started talking with some coworkers about the haircut he got while I was sitting there waiting. He never acknowledged me. I had to leave so I thought I’d just call back to discuss my needs with him. I called his cellphone a few times, never got an answer and voicemails were never returned. Follow up calls were met with a “voicemail full” message. All unacceptable for a “sales person”.A follow up visit to the shop allowed me to talk to the actual Owner about my door needs. However, he never followed up with pricing or lead times either. A follow up call with the owner yielded the same result. He assured me he’d have someone get back to me as soon as possible, but I never heard anything from anyone.A few weeks later I tried to get pricing on Caesarstone countertops. Same results. I went back in physically for a third time to have the receptionist tell me there was no one there that could help me. I mentioned that it was really impossible to purchase anything from this company, to which she replied “yeah I guess”. No offer to take my name or number, no offer to help in any way, she really couldn’t be bothered. Three visits in person and likely half a dozen phone calls yielded not a single response.Anyway, I took my business elsewhere and purchased over $9,000 worth of product this company could have sold me if they had bothered to return a phone call. Don’t waste your time on a business that obviously does not care about customers or even their own company. However, if you’re looking for a job where you can get paid for doing nothing, this may be just the place for you.

The owner Rob could care less about his company and how it runs. Poor customer service, false lead times and trying to get in touch with your salesperson is impossible. I talked to the owner Rob who didn't care. I'd avoid this place at all costs.

Fantastic service from the staff and a unique inventory of hard to find replacement parts. My house is 24 years old with non-conventional door sweeps. I found them here! I have an unusual door bottom sweep on 5 exterior doors. I hunted for replacement parts to ensure a proper seal from rain, bugs (I have scorpions in my Gilbert neighborhood and I want to keep them OUT), and of course the cold/hot air escaping. The gentleman behind the counter took one look at the old track and seal I brought in, and he IMMEDIATELY knew the manufacturer and supplied exactly what I needed. I searched in big-box home improvement stores and through out the internet. My old door threshold and door sweep system was still manufactured and stocked by Scottsdale Custom Building Materials! Thank you guys for excellent service and keeping and unbelievable inventory. If you don't have it, it cannot be sourced anywhere else!

Went in spoke to Chris , told him I wanted a barn door for my bathroom. He took my name ,number, and email to give me a quote. Never ever called. Even after I called at least 3 times and left a message on his voicemail. He never made contact. Terrible customer service

I'm in sales and glad to say I've never treated anyone like I was treated here. I went there twice, met with Mark Cowden. First time he took notes promised to get back to me. I returned 9 days later. He didn't remember me but finally found my notes. He asked a few more questions said I would have something in a day or two. I emailed several times and gave up. I'm a homeowner and not a contractor so I get I might not be their ideal customer but please don't promise you will do something and just ignore me after that. I liked the product options but what a way to be treated. Of course, the goal was to buy a door, but I couldn't even get a quote.

This place doesn't deserve one star. If they put as much effort into sales and customer service as they went out of their way to ignore me, then they would be successful. When I was approached they were INCREDIBLY RUDE!! Unbelievably RUDE!! Getting answers to simple questions was like pulling teeth. Most of the time, they were clueless.They were irritated by my mere presence in the store. They were rude until the moment I left. I need to purchase hardware and interior/exterior doors for 3 homes but after this experience I will be shopping elsewhere. Money is not a factor. I will make certain family, friends and neighbors know how horrible this place is!
