First off let me start by stating that this is not a location specific review, but there was no option to review Home Depot as a company and this was the closest location to me. I have never ordered anything from Home Depot ever in my life and have never gave any of my information to the store for any purpose. Last night when I arrived home there was a package delivered to me with my correct address and the correct spelling of my name. Curious to see what it was because I was very confused, I opened the package and it contained a single basic white light switch cover. I immediately felt panicked and thought that maybe stole one of my credit card numbers and were testing it with a small purchase to make sure it worked. But then there was more confusion like why would they order this and send it to me and how did the get my address? I checked all of my credit cards, debit cards and accounts to make sure there were no charges on them that I did not make. I also went through my email and there has never been one single email from Home Depot for any reason at any time. Since when I arrived home and got the package it was pretty late, I waited until this morning to call their customer service phone number to try to find out some additional information about this very confusing situation. I gave the lady on the phone my name and the order number that was printed on the packaging. She said not to worry about it, that this is a scam that home depot does to try to get good reviews and more business. When I tell you that she said the word scam and that this is a normal thing for her to get calls about I am in no way exaggerating or using words that imply the way I feel about the situation. I then proceeded to ask her how the item was paid for and she said that the payment type was a gift card for $0.50 and that was typical for them to do. Then I asked her how they got my name and address and she said they get information from Google searches. I am relieved that there was no fraud on any of my accounts that I have noticed yet, but this just seems to me like it would be more hurtful than beneficial to their business. I hope that someone else who has this happen to them reads this and finds it helpful in some way.

Be aware of posted prices on appliances at this store! My husband and I came in today to look at and ultimately purchase a new refrigerator. We inspected the models on the floor and made our choice. We reached out to one of the sales associates. He looked up the info on the fridge and stated that the price on their digital price tag was out of date--some kind of glitch where "they've been having problems with them updating"--and the price was actually $700 more than listed on the unit. We had him reach out to the manager, who stated there was nothing he could do about it. He then said he would take $150 off the now $700 more expensive unit, invalidating his own words that he could not actually do anything. Needless to say we left, and my husband is purchasing it online from Costco as I write this. The real issue is why are all of the sales associates just standing around chatting instead of checking on the digital tags they know have a tendency to be out of date and wrong? As it turned out, this tag was advertising a sale that ENDED ON OCTOBER 19th when today's date is OCTOBER 29th! (The date is listed on the tag in small writing, but in our comparing models, specs, and prices, we missed this small print. I can imagine we are not the only ones to do so...) So, are they lazy, or trying to pull a bait and switch on their customers?? Either way, they lost an over $3000 sale, and we were the ONLY customers even shopping in their department in the middle of this Saturday afternoon. Again, be leery of this store.

The 90th street scottsdale home depot is the worst in the state. It is a former homebase and is smaller in size and is always out of stock. Save your time and go to any other home depot and you will have better luck. It has been this way for years.

We were looking at add a bar area off our kitchen with cabinets, countertops, etc. Made an appointment to come in for a consultation with Sam. Showed up on time for my appointment. Brought my 2 yr old, 20 lb, mini-goldendoodle. The sweetest dog ever. Sam took one look at the dog and said "we can reschedule your appointment when you come in without the dog." He said they have a no dog policy and he asked me to leave. Never once asking if he was a service dog. Meanwhile, there were 3 other dogs (at least) in the store at the time and 2 associates stopped to pet my dog. I expressed my concern to management and was told Sam is a very difficult person to deal with but since he doesn't like dogs, he doesn't have to work with us. My family spends only $10K-$15K per year at that Home Depot. Unfortunately, despite convenience, we are forced to take that business elsewhere.

I needed a very unique cut of wood for our daughter's dresser shelf and Bill in Lumber came to the rescue. I explained to Bill in Lumber the dimensions I needed and what it would be used for. He promptly helped me to find the right size at an affordable cost, and also advised me on the proper way to support the shelf. Furthermore, he cut the wood exactly how I needed it. I am especially grateful to Bill in Lumber for helping to make my shopping experience painless! Now our daughter's dresser looks amazing! Thank you Bill in Lumber!

Let me start off by saying F*** this place, went to buy a shed and to my surprise I found the biggest black homeless brotha I've ever seen with a tiny dog living in it. Told workers who didn't seem to really care about the brotha living in it.

My most recent shopping experience at Home Depot entailed purchasing a heavy bucket of pool chlorine tablets. I tried to carry it to the checkout, when an associate, Hoc, went out of his way to quickly get me a cart for my weighty purchase. I also witnessed Hoc helping an elderly man in retrieving a cart for him as well to make his purchases more comfortable. Hoc is a kind and caring associate who represents Home Depot well and made my shopping much more pleasant.

We will never return to home depot on Bell Rd & Cave Creek. Rude check out employees would not take Hubbys military discounts after all these years. Stating we have to go online? With. I phone & scan discount? Had no idea what she was talking about. If they are going to make it that hard to save 10 crappy%. Forget it. Will shop elsewhere & was happy to cut up their credit card. Ados.

About 3:30 01/12/2022 I visited the paint department and purchased 20 gallons of outdoor paint. The young lady who assisted me was totally professional and extremely helpful - the type of person that you would want working with you. She is a tremendous asset to your store. Please tell her thank you from me!

I like your company and I like this location. However, you hired a really grumpy guy out in the parking lot. What a piece of work. I know the labor force is weak but please maintain standards.

Well, there were more abandoned carts of all types in parking spaces than there were cars. I told an 'associate' who ignored both me and the problem. Then, I almost got run over by one of their fat female associates while walking down an aisle. Given the current employment situation, I guess most employers have to settle for what they can get.

I've been to a lot of Home Depot's and this was the worst. No one helps you! I located everything on my own and the lady at Pro desk skipped over me and helped another guy first. I had to wait longer.

How do you start a review when you walk into a store and find the rude manager on duty asking a customer to leave the store and refusing to help. No idea the reason but it is not the first time I witness same behavior. First had experience when one of the agents in the return area said that I had no idea about what I was talking about and refused to help. Even if that was the case (not case as I am an engineer by profession and analyst by nature) customer service levels at this store are very low and people who don't want to serve customers should not be working in the service industry.
