I don't know what is going on. Workers don't seem to know anything about the products one seeks to find in this store. They also don't know where things are so they send u to the wrong aisles. When u come to HD wear a pair of sneakers and have a photo of what u need.

HANDICAP UNFRIENDLY STORE!With some of the Customer Service Employees being indifferent. Actually it's one particular employee who is guilty of this behavior but gives a bad name to the "Customer Service" department! This store used to have three electric carts, a number that is totally insufficient for a store of this size, and in an upscale town with many senior residents. An employee informed me than one of the carts was stolen, another cart is broken and permanently out of order, and the one operational is beat up, usually weak battery and barely gets out of its own way, or being used. For the last two years I have been engaged in the construction of a house and I frequently visit the Scottsdale - Shea store. No matter how many times I have expressed my dissatisfaction with the electric cart conditions to Customer Service or to regular cashiers / employees nothing has been done. Management seems not to care. It also seems that this store's management has a reputation of being friendly to shoplifters. This good news seems to have spread among those who are morally and ethically challenged! I have personally observed people walking out the entry doors without passing by the cash registers with items they did not pay for, and employees having noticed the situation but taking no action. Downright disgusting if you ask me!For these reasons I give the Home Depot Management of Scottsdale - Shea a failing mark. This poor management performance is in my opinion worthy of this review!

My husband recently came to this location looking for specific humidifiers he'd found on the website. An associate named Dennis helped him look for them until it was discovered they were still packaged in an unloaded pallet high up on the shelving. Dennis didn't hesitate to get a ladder and retrieve them. Husband said he went above and beyond for him and was friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you Dennis!

Just wow to this Home Depot location! Employees were available to answer questions & help me find what I needed. We just replaced bathroom fixtures & needed round vanity lights. They come in "soft white," "day light," AND "bright white." Seriously?! I really couldn't tell the difference but was advised that "bright white" is optimal for bathrooms. Sounds good to me. We're used to going to a different HD at 36th St & Thomas. There is never ANYONE available to help us & then those who are, have no clue about what HD sells. It is super frustrating. Receiving excellent customer service from friendly, knowledgeable employees is truly a treat! Kudos to the team there. Definitely recommend this location.

Wow everyone was just super friendly at this particular location ! Everyone I came across said hello and was eager to help. I'm so sick and tired of the unfriendly Ace Hardware near me and I just love the vast selection that Home Depot has! Highly recommend this store for all your home supply needs !

I am usually happy with Home Depot at my normal Mesa location but I dealt with an obnoxious employee at this location recently.I was in the lightbulb aisle buying LED lights to replace all of the old inefficient bulbs in my parents' house that they just bought. I had a question about a bulb. Rather than getting an answer the rep talked at me with his diatribe about how the government is taking away his rights to inefficient light bulbs. Meanwhile the only reason I was there was to buy efficient LED light bulbs. Not too quick on the uptake are we? He also for some reason dove into his complaint about police not arresting people who don't use their turn signal. I decided to buy the bulbs I had a question about on Amazon. I should have offered him all the inefficient bulbs I was getting rid of. Maybe that'd cool his jets.

Shane Wagoner0 reviewsUSRated 1 out of 5 starsBought 5 gallons of Behr e600 white...Bought 5 gallons of Behr e600 white paint and needed another 5 gallons. I went to the same store, to the same isle and loaded my paint. Started painting and it wasn't cover as the first 5 gal. We thought we just needed additional coats. The next day the paint was grey. Took the paint back and told them something was wrong with the paint. The dept head told me I bought the one that needed to be tinted. The product has the exact same packaging appearance, displayed right next to the one I bought previously that didn't need tint. NO WHERE DOES IT DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN THE 2 products. On the website it does not differentiate. I asked that the paint be replaced, the department head agreed to replace it. The assistant, and general store manager said NO they said I could buy another 5 gal with 50% off. They said I should have known, that paint customers always ask for opinions on what

We stopped at Home Depot last evening after dinner. Just wanted to look around and pick out some items for an upcoming project. We wandered the appliance department for a good 20 minutes. Not once were we approached by an associate to see if we needed assistance or had any questions. Although there were two associates just sitting at their desks doing who knows what on their computers right in the same area. Not a hello or a hi. Very strange!

First off let me start by stating that this is not a location specific review, but there was no option to review Home Depot as a company and this was the closest location to me. I have never ordered anything from Home Depot ever in my life and have never gave any of my information to the store for any purpose. Last night when I arrived home there was a package delivered to me with my correct address and the correct spelling of my name. Curious to see what it was because I was very confused, I opened the package and it contained a single basic white light switch cover. I immediately felt panicked and thought that maybe stole one of my credit card numbers and were testing it with a small purchase to make sure it worked. But then there was more confusion like why would they order this and send it to me and how did the get my address? I checked all of my credit cards, debit cards and accounts to make sure there were no charges on them that I did not make. I also went through my email and there has never been one single email from Home Depot for any reason at any time. Since when I arrived home and got the package it was pretty late, I waited until this morning to call their customer service phone number to try to find out some additional information about this very confusing situation. I gave the lady on the phone my name and the order number that was printed on the packaging. She said not to worry about it, that this is a scam that home depot does to try to get good reviews and more business. When I tell you that she said the word scam and that this is a normal thing for her to get calls about I am in no way exaggerating or using words that imply the way I feel about the situation. I then proceeded to ask her how the item was paid for and she said that the payment type was a gift card for $0.50 and that was typical for them to do. Then I asked her how they got my name and address and she said they get information from Google searches. I am relieved that there was no fraud on any of my accounts that I have noticed yet, but this just seems to me like it would be more hurtful than beneficial to their business. I hope that someone else who has this happen to them reads this and finds it helpful in some way.

Be aware of posted prices on appliances at this store! My husband and I came in today to look at and ultimately purchase a new refrigerator. We inspected the models on the floor and made our choice. We reached out to one of the sales associates. He looked up the info on the fridge and stated that the price on their digital price tag was out of date--some kind of glitch where "they've been having problems with them updating"--and the price was actually $700 more than listed on the unit. We had him reach out to the manager, who stated there was nothing he could do about it. He then said he would take $150 off the now $700 more expensive unit, invalidating his own words that he could not actually do anything. Needless to say we left, and my husband is purchasing it online from Costco as I write this. The real issue is why are all of the sales associates just standing around chatting instead of checking on the digital tags they know have a tendency to be out of date and wrong? As it turned out, this tag was advertising a sale that ENDED ON OCTOBER 19th when today's date is OCTOBER 29th! (The date is listed on the tag in small writing, but in our comparing models, specs, and prices, we missed this small print. I can imagine we are not the only ones to do so...) So, are they lazy, or trying to pull a bait and switch on their customers?? Either way, they lost an over $3000 sale, and we were the ONLY customers even shopping in their department in the middle of this Saturday afternoon. Again, be leery of this store.

The 90th street scottsdale home depot is the worst in the state. It is a former homebase and is smaller in size and is always out of stock. Save your time and go to any other home depot and you will have better luck. It has been this way for years.

We were looking at add a bar area off our kitchen with cabinets, countertops, etc. Made an appointment to come in for a consultation with Sam. Showed up on time for my appointment. Brought my 2 yr old, 20 lb, mini-goldendoodle. The sweetest dog ever. Sam took one look at the dog and said "we can reschedule your appointment when you come in without the dog." He said they have a no dog policy and he asked me to leave. Never once asking if he was a service dog. Meanwhile, there were 3 other dogs (at least) in the store at the time and 2 associates stopped to pet my dog. I expressed my concern to management and was told Sam is a very difficult person to deal with but since he doesn't like dogs, he doesn't have to work with us. My family spends only $10K-$15K per year at that Home Depot. Unfortunately, despite convenience, we are forced to take that business elsewhere.

I needed a very unique cut of wood for our daughter's dresser shelf and Bill in Lumber came to the rescue. I explained to Bill in Lumber the dimensions I needed and what it would be used for. He promptly helped me to find the right size at an affordable cost, and also advised me on the proper way to support the shelf. Furthermore, he cut the wood exactly how I needed it. I am especially grateful to Bill in Lumber for helping to make my shopping experience painless! Now our daughter's dresser looks amazing! Thank you Bill in Lumber!
