What a joke. I just stopped in to ship some fragile items (pottery and glass) and the clerk asked me if I could come back in a couple of days as he’s uncomfortable packing fragile items and needs to wait for the owner to do it. Are you kidding me?!? I fly home tomorrow, so no — that isn’t an option. Either get people the training they need to pack things or close the store. Ridiculous.

I came 2 times already for a product return.first time i got told that i need it to throw the goods in to a box, any spare box and they will taped up. I come again and now they say no shoe boxes. Has to be like the ones they sell. Really? Make up your mind.Just because you want to sell?.

I went to this UPS store in order to mail some legal documents that I had and that needed to reach their destination relatively quickly. The person helping me was a very friendly older gentleman and suggested that I send it priority mail USPS because that was the cheaper and faster way to go. Fast forward to this week and my package has yet to be delivered. After following up with USPS on getting a refund for late delivery, I was informed that I was significantly overcharged for the service and that I should follow up with the UPS store. I called the store and spoke with a young gentleman who explained that they double the prices that USPS charges in order to “make money”! While I understand, a little bit of a service fee or mark up, doubling seems a bit excessive. When I asked why I wasn’t told that they charged double what I could pay at the post office, the gentleman explained that some employees do some don’t, but it’s not required. He didn’t seem to care too much that I found their practice to be very deceptive. Needless to say, I will never use this location again, and I don’t recommend anybody else using it because who knows where else they will attempt to “make money” and basically rip off their customers.UPDATEowner called after I sent email and apologized for treatment on phone call by employee and also explained their pricing. Offered to refund the difference in pricing from usps.

Been using this UPS location for 10ish years. I’ve always had a great experience. I see some of the comments about how expensive some services like shredding are but honestly, they compare pretty well with others who use Iron Mountain security services, which I believe is an official partner with UPS.Anyway, I’ve used so many of their services over the years and I appreciate their willingness to help when/where needed. Thank you!

I had an extremely important piece of pottery that I wanted to take with me on an airplane back to Texas. The owners of this UPS store went out of their way to help me. They were extremely knowledgeable in different ways of packaging. And very respectful of my needs for travel with this piece.I would trust them with any shipping needs for me or my family. They understand the importance of making products arrive. In the condition they left in.I have shared their contact information with my friends and family. I am now sharing it with you review readers.This location out shines almost every other Scottsdale location I have tried.

This ups store has the worst condescending workers I’ve encountered. I suggest they replace the high school workers with helpful adults that articulate how to be helpful and customer centric.

The following are facts about this UPS Store #2650, not my opinion.This UPS Store #2650 charges $1.50 per pound for shredding services. I called 12 surrounding UPS Stores and they ALL charge $1.00 per pound. I got taken for $160.50 on 281 lbs of documents. If you have a lot to shred, I recommend going down the street to another UPS store to save a bunch of money. Also, the owner opened the "secure" bin with a key to drop my confidential documents in. Understand that he has access to your documents after you leave, not secure as advertised by UPS and Iron Mountain.

Beware of their paper shredding service pricing! This store charges $1.50 per pound and all other UPS stores within the same zip code charge $1. The store did not quote the price up front and then refused a refund when brought to their attention. UPS corporate agreed that they should not charge higher prices; however, the store owner still refused to comply and match other UPS stores. The owner was very unprofessional raising his voice on the phone, said he could charge whatever he wants to and then hung up us. In the end we were charged $150 more than we should have. We will never return to this store.

Fast - efficient - convenient - reasonable prices and they make it easy to package, tape, seal, address and mail items or return small, medium and large boxes, packages and products bought online and delivered to your home. They have all of the supplies to assist with just about any size item. The staff are helpful and patient. I much prefer The UPS store to the USPS or driving to an approve Amazon location to save a few bucks.

Really poor customer service and staff lacking basic knowledge. Last time I dropped off a return the package was somehow lost and then showed up back on my doorstep with no shipping label several weeks later! I don't trust them with my packages and will now drive out of my way to use another store.

While vacationing in Scottsdale, I needed to send a fragile pottery item back home rather than risk breaking it on the plane. For a very reasonable fee (including insurance), the guys at this UPS store carefully wrapped the item in miles of bubble wrap, placed it in a box, and sent it on its way. The item arrived back home in perfect condition a few days after we returned from vacation. Great job!

The UPS Access Point an option on the Old Navy, GAP & Banana Republic sites. UPS out sources to ONTRAC (NOT MY CHOICE OR FAULT!) The owner of this location should call UPS and have their store removed from the UPS Access Point location option. Instead they suddenly decided to start charging $5 for each package yo be picked up - some stores will ship 5 different packages for 1 order! I had been having packages sent here for months with no mention of a fee from this store. Then suddenly they said they charge. And were very rude.
