Last night was my first time at Amado's. My husband and I were out late and Amado's came highly recommended from a friend who lives in the area.Everything looked good! We couldn't decide what to get, so we decided to split Amado's platter so we could try several different things.Everything on this platter was delicious! The ground beef tacos were good, the tortilla tasted fresh. The roll tacos were crunchy and were good, especially when dipped in the green and red salsa (red salsa is fairly hot, use caution if you don't handle heat well, it's very good, but very spicy!). The bean burritos were very good also, I was about halfway through it when I remembered I wanted to try that with salsa too. The quesadillas were delicious! I usually don't like ordering quesadillas at restaurants because I usually feel they either don't add enough cheese or they do WAY too much, but I'd prefer these again, they were perfect. The mini chimmis, I cannot over sell. They were SO delicious! Best part for me was this platter feed both me and my husband for $15!This place is easy to miss, I may have driven right past it if it hasn't been recommended to us. My recommendation is, if you like Mexican food, you have got to try this place. The guys that were working were so nice and obviously talented cooks. The seating area is small and quaint. Because it was so late, it was really quiet and overall nice dining experience. They do also have a drive thru though if you don't want to dine in.

Have been coming to this place every single Friday religiously for well over 2 years. The food is always great, consistently tastes the same, reasonably priced, and the staff is always friendly. Can’t ask for anything more.Food: 5/5

Please DO NOT EAT HERE! My husband and I came to get some food here and both got food poisoning. The food was not the greatest had way better Mexican food. Do not waste your money or stomach on eating anything here. They have A rating but it should more a C. I do not know they are using old meat or not something is not right with their food. I would not recommend to anyone I am sorry but this the honest truth.

Most Mexican fast food Mexican places in The Valley are about the same. This place knocks down the price and gives you more food. To be honest I’m not sure if it’s the great price that makes it better or what but it’s Amado’s over every other Mexican fast food restaurant!

Food is great for the price. Think Filibertos with much higher quality ingredients. They charge too much for extras, like sour cream or extra cheese.

Real good authentic Mexican food. Huge portions! Tortillas taste like they are made in-house. Open real late.Food: 5/5

Absolute best Mexican place. The burritos are so delicious and it's very good quality for quick food. I seriously love this place more than my own family, you have to try

If you haven't been you haven't lived. Get one of everything. Tuesdays tacos are simple yet delicious. Every taco on the menu is generously portioned, full of goodness. You might hate yourself if you skip the adobada or carnitas.. The breakfast burrito is always a win. Top off whatever you're getting with a large horchata (best in the East Valley) and you'll be hooked for life!

The burritos were very good but I expected them to be bigger for the prices they were charging.

So, I am an Arizona native. Born & raise in Tempe, AZ. I briefly moved to “Snobsdale”, but when I married my husband(whom I’ve known since we were both 16), We ultimately moved literally so close to my old high school, Marcos de Niza, it literally it only about a 2 minute walk to the high school! And Amado’s on McClintock & Guadalupe has been a staple for great, cheap Mexican food that’s also available 24 hours a day/7days a week! They never disappoint! The photo is of a Carne Asada Quesadilla… and it’s SO big, the most I have ever been able to eat was half! So for $7 bucks or so, I’ve got dinner, as well as lunch the next day!! My entire family and myself absolutely recommend trying out Amado’s the next time your in the area! They won’t disappoint! (Especially their breakfast burritos!!!!!)

I ordered a special burrito and my order cost almost 18 dollars. The burrito was dry and the potatoes were very firm. Not sure I'll be going back for the food. The young man working the drive through was very very nice.Food: 2/5

Not a vegetable to be found. No vegetarian tacos so I had to get the bean burrito, which ended up being just a ton of refried beans wrapped in a tortilla and grilled. The service was fast and friendly and the food tasted good, but I’ve been baffled by the total lack of vegetarian options at taco places in Phoenix.

The stars are for service. The food It's mediocre. I was tired of getting ripped off at Filiberto's just to switch up and get ripped off just the same. Ordered the California burrito for 10 plus dollars get the burrito and was disappointed not only with the size but was filled with what seemed to be old french fries and very little meat. I know things are tough for businesses but damn! Still take pride in your craft. Places have raised prices and downsized their product. I'm paying more for less.

Not 24/7 went at 2:33am and the workers were leaving but left the open sign on? They even blocked the drive thru with a closed sign so clearly they've closed before...
