I would not use this truck rental if my life depended upon it! There is some blonde chick in hat works there that is so rude!! She should be fired but seriously I made reservations to n line and called and verified the charges and this chick kept adding on more money and changing my reservation! She was extremely rude about it as well like I was bothering her! Seriously get a Uhaul! It’s cheaper and the people are way nicer and no hidden charges. Definitely don’t go here!

I reserved a truck two times in two weeks from budget and they didn't have one for me when I arrived. If you need a truck, go elsewhere.

If I could give zero stars I would. I was called only 6 hours prior to my reservation I made a MONTH AGO and they stated that there were no trucks in the entire valley for me to rent??? Apparently the reservations mean NOTHING and does not guarantee anything, do NOT RENT WITH THEM, they won’t have any trucks for you anyway even if you reserve a month ahead of time.

I have recently been the victim of identity theft but had no idea that the perpetrators even rented a truck and left a $5,000+ balance! I find out when I go to pick up a truck that I reserved online! I was informed that I couldn’t rent the truck and given a number to call! I know the drill so I have to get my fraud documents and get this resolved thru the corporate office! The problem is, these jokers charged me a $75 “No Show” fee! How? I showed up and my reservation was refused! How do you then have the balls to charge me when you refused the reservation that I showed up for?

I just got ripped off so hard. At first the moving van was 15, then 40, mileage wasn't explained. No estimate of cost up front. I had small van for 2.5 hours, went from the 202 and Scottsdale to chandler and it cost me 114$!! Beyond ridiculous. Just talked to five people who said they've never paid that much. Do Not Use. They do not go over the cost with you upfront and then gouge you when it's time to check out. I should,ve paid attention to the 1.5 stars. I will never use again and tell all family, friends, and co-workers not to use as well. Go with u-haul!

DO NOT rent a truck from budget! spend the money & go with uhaul or Penske. budget gave me a truck that wasnt inspected. the transmission was slipping, causing me to spend the night in New Mexico with nobody to call or assist as they "had nobody on duty to come out." The car carrier only had one strap functioning so I drove praying that my car wouldn't kill someone as only 1 tire was strapped. it's been 2 weeks and I haven't gotten a final bill or call back from the 30 times I've called them. Worse customer service possible but even worse equipment

Michael the manager was so helpful. He went out of his way to find my lost car key after I had brought the truck back. Everybody at this location is really nice and they definitely know what they're talking about when it comes to moving and towing. Also if you can rent one of the smaller box fans there's a lot more room in those than one might imagine.

THEY CLOSE AT 4:45, make sure to check the Budget website because Google is incorrect. Avoid tall 50 year old guy with grey hair, unprofessional and incredibly rude.

Rotting wood floors in the back of the moving truck were disgusting. The truck needed one hell of an alignment had the wheel turned to almost a 20 degree angle to the left in order for the truck to drive straight. Which made trying right and going around right hand curves sketchy as hell. We decided to try out Budget because it was closer to us. The staff was friendly and kind. But just do yourself a favor and stick with Uhal.

This location no longer takes cash even though on the website it says they will. They will also not take the whole amount off a card because that is too much like cash. Made for an extremely stressful morning for me, to say the least.

Budget is without question the worst organization I have ever done business with. I reserved a truck from them for a move from Illinois to Maryland. The night before I was to get it they informed me the truck I wanted would not be available at the location I rented it from. I honestly thought that was the point of a reservation. They provided no additional help and said I needed to call the next morning. When I called they found me one that required a hour and forty five minute round trip. I was surprised to see what an old and poorly maintained truck they had but given I felt lucky at this point just to have a truck I had no choice but take it. When I got the truck to my home the people I hired through their website to load it could not get the ramp down. The reason was it had been bolted to the frame. After a few hours (paying them by the hour we were able to get it to work).The next morning I set out on my way. As I approached Ohio I got an engine warning light but did not know what it was for. As I went further it showed low on DEF. As I got further into Ohio the truck degrade performance by 20%, then 40% then to 5 miles an hour. I pulled in a rest area and tried to add DEF but the tank was completely full. I called Budgets road side assistance. If you are ever unfortunate enough to need this just give up. They keep you waiting for hours each time you call. I am not exaggerating and I had to call them no fewer than 10 times during my experience. They sent out mechanics. After being broken down for over 6 hours they said they could not fix it and to call Budget. So after another hour and fifteen minute wait they said they would have to tow the truck and me to a nearby hotel. I asked them not to do that as I felt it would risk a shift in my contents. They said I had not choice.The next morning I had to start all over calling them. After three calls they informed me that my truck could not be repaired and they would look for another truck for me. Three hours and two calls later they found a truck over two hours away and had begun to search for a tow truck to bring it to me. They located the truck in a few hours and began to tow it to my hotel. At this point I have been broken down for over 24 hours and had to cancel my unload team and flight home from my destination. I asked how my contents would get from one to the other and they informed me once it arrived they would have a professional swap team move loads from one truck to the other. Well the replacement truck showed up and it was actually more beat up then the first. You could understand my fear of even driving it. Once they unloaded and reloaded I got back on the road. When I arrived at my final destination we opened the truck to find that all of my household belongings were damaged or destroyed. So I called them again in a three short hours got the name of their insurance company and number. Well to my surprise Sedgwick has even worse customer service then Avis. Their Agent is working from home due to covid does not answer his phone does not have voicemail and takes weeks to respond to emails. Ultimately he said it was not their fault. So I rented a piece of crap truck from a disgraceful company and ended up losing over $8,000 worth of possessions. Lesson learned and I will only rent from U-Haul in the future as both loading and unloading teams told me they are far superior. I hope no one else ever rents from them as I would not want them to experience even a portion of the stress and loss that this mismanaged company can cause.
