Thanks Ralph, I had been looking for this bike and actually found it at a couple different bike shops. But the other shops didn't impress me with their arrogant aditudes. So happy I stopped by your shop today! Your crew was awesome! Thanks!

Took my univega bike in to get serviced and had an amazing experience. Santiago helped and put brand new red grips on my bike. I can't wait to use it for this semester on campus. Thankyou!

I had forgotten about our experience here shortly after we moved to Tucson, but after searching for a local bike shop today, and seeing this store pop up on the list, I thought I'd share that we also experienced a really rude welcoming. These guys were not friendly, and it felt like an inconvenience to make a purchase, which we did because we needed the helmet. I think more people would support local business if they were treated better, but owners can't seem to comprehend that concept and will continue to lose out to big box and online sales.

I have been going here since 2019 and have always had an amazing experience. Each time I take any of my bikes in for service I leave with them feeling as good as new. Everyone in the shop both service/sales are very welcoming and knowledgeable of any kind of bike. They offer rental bikes if you’re curious on how a certain bike handles and helps you to make a decision. The service department has always gone above and beyond and always seem to have your best interest in mind. Most honest and cost effective repair shop in town. Highly recommend them for service and sales! Will be getting my next mountain bike from them!

Had a good experience renting 2 hard tail mountain bikes (Santa Cruz Cameleon) from these guys. Called in the day before and reserved the bikes for the following morning, no cost to reserve. When we came into the shop, the bikes were set aside and ready to go and they adjusted the front air fork sag for our weight. Also had some good conversation with them and you can tell they are passionate about bikes. We almost went with a company called Tucson Bike Rentals until we were sketched out about having to pay before we see the bikes, can only text the guy, and the fact that there’s no actual bike shop or person to help you. Fair wheel was great and next time I’m in Tucson I’ll be renting from them again. And as a bonus, if you decide to buy the bike you can put the cost of the rental towards it, a nice tip they let me know. They also have some really cool high end components for sale.

I’ve rented a bike from Fair Wheel on a few different occasions when visiting Tucson. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly and also provided tips on routes. My friend took me to the shop to pick up my rental and I decided to ride it back to her house. One of the staff members hopped on a bike and rode with me to show me how to get to the Bike Boulevard. The bike fit me like my own and got me up and down Mt. Lemmon with no issues. This is my “go to” bike shop in Tucson.

Fraudulent company, they advertise items that they don't have and then it takes over 20days for a refund. Please be aware of this scam and buy somewhere else.I am not deleting anything, Is the same company. Fix it!!!

Had a Commencal ebike that after sitting would not power on. Fair Wheel Bikes was able to diagnose and fix the problem in about a day. The cost was very cheap too, the also updated the firmware for the bike at the same time. The staff is also super friendly. This shop is way out of the way for me but I wouldn't hesitate to go there again.

Performed follow up service on my bike for over an hour and didn’t even charge. I was impressed by how multiple techs offered suggestions to my issue. Brought in a six pack to say thanks and keep them hydrated.

Walked in with with my bike and some parts Saturday afternoon and Alex, a mechanic at the shop, was able to diagnose, repair, and reassemble my busted hub and choppy shifting. Thanks Alex! I appreciated it a ton.

Fair Wheel Bikes was not so fair! Fair Wheel rented me a nonfunctional bike. I rented a bike to ride in the El Tour de Tucson, and flew in from Oregon, rented an Airbnb. We had group of us that signed up, and trained for the 102 mile ride. The bike was expensive to rent because it was the El Tour weekend which I understand. After the first 12 miles or so I had 3 flats without an obvious reason for a flat in the tire. I'm and experienced rider and know how to change tires. The rim had a defect. After 3 flats, I changed over to intermittent pumping of the tire until the hole became too big and would switch it out, and it would happen again again without a visible cause. I debated quitting the ride, but the whole groups switched to the 62 mile ride, and I rode on a very low pressure tire the whole ride. I returned to Fair Wheel, and they would not take responsibility for a nonfunctioning bike. I asked for a discount, even though I felt a full refund was more appropriate. I talked with the manager, and he could care less! Do not rent from Fair Wheel unless you want to ride on a nonfunctional bike. Very disappointed.

Fair Wheel was not FAIR! They rented me a nonfunctional bike. I came into town from Oregon to ride in the El Tour de Tucson, and rented a bike from Fair Wheel. The bike was newish, and expensive to rent because they would only rent for the whole weekend because of the El Tour which I understand. I rode with a group and we were going to ride the 102 mile ride. After the 1st 12 miles I had 3 flats! I checked the tire for a cause and the rim each time but could not find a cause. The rim was causing a slow leak, and I rode on a low pressure tire the rest of the way, pumping it up every 3-5 miles depending on the speed of loss of air. My whole group switched to the 62 mile ride when we flew in, rented an Airbnb and trained for the 102 mile at a huge expense. I returned to not-so-Fair Wheel, and explained the problem, and the manager could really care less. I explained that I was counting on a functional bike, especially at those prices, and he pretty much said "too bad!" He would not discount the nonfunctional bike. I was not asking for a refund which would have been appropriate but a discount. I would not rent from Fair Wheel.

I got my back tire stolen and they put a rim and tire on which simply doesn't fit. It takes 20 min and an absurd amount of elbow grease to put on and off after I get a flat while the other one I can do in less than 3 minutes. I've taken it in and be like "look it's not supposed to be like this" and they agree that no it is not. However if I want it fixed I need to drop 100$ on a new rim and tire. Furthermore that tire goes flat an insane amount. The front one has not gone flat since I got the new back tire while the back tire has gone flat over 10 times. The chances of that being coincidence are less than 1000 to one but I still need to give them 100 to fix their mistake. Absolutely atrocious and go to RC bicycles behind them next to the laundromat they've been solid every time. I would give 0 stars if I could.
